I keep getting emails saying I owe the full balance but I can’t get onto my account and when I try to call or email I don’t get a reply so how am I meant to sort it out

Why am I unable to contact anybody via telephone, email or your contact page,

I am trying to contact yourselves regarding a missed payment and get this rectifed , why is my full amount not due until 30/09 yet I am being emailed to say the full amount was due on the 28.08 when that is clearly not what my agreement stated? I have contacted the financial ombudsman and provided them with my information along with the contracted agreement by yourselves and a few discrepancies have been found due to me trying tirelessly to contact yourselves to ask these questions and gain some clarity on where I stand and to no avail, I have been on hold for 25 minutes this morning, PLEASE CAN SOMEONE CONTACT ME TO DISCUSS, I am trying to ensure that I keep a good standing but the customer service is making this difficult. I would like to rectify this , however because of your tireless emails saying the same generic information I needed to seek advice, because something just does not seem right.

Been accepted said loan is on the way 40 minutes later still no loan

I had a loan from ondal, I paid the 1st two payments on time and one payment early thinking I was a good customer, they put on my credit file that my account was delinquent, there was payment issues, and the debt unsettled which is complete lies, contacted them they have now changed it to account in arrears, how is it in arrears???? Thank you for damaging my credit ondal really appreciate it, and if the adviser asks if you want to make a payment and it's not due yet say no cause this is what they do I'm now on a payment plan because I paid one installment early, all payments made no arrears but yet credit file says arrears so you have actively lied to a credit agency and yes I am taking this further so you don't do this to other vulnerable people who need help

Terrible company, customer support was shocking, had a few enquiries and not one person gets back to you, try ringing and wow they must have 1 person on the phone, over 20 minutes of music for noone to answer the phone, sorry but that's shocking customer support, also paid most of my loan off was under the agreed fee and they still charged me full fee, even though the proof is on my account how much I owed including interest, tried sorting this but noone reply or answer on the phone. 😡

So you're one day late and they cancel the instalments plan without even any notification and ask you to pay the full amount. Morally disgraceful and legally? Well I'm not even sure if they're allowed. I read the terms and nothing is clear on this subject. Anyway they just take advantage of people's financial difficulties to grab grab grab as much money as they can, even if with their crazy interest rates they already make the most of it. But no they always need more more more and can't even take the time to discuss with people. I would suggest people to find another company with better moral values.

WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced, they have Causes unnecessary stress. I’ve Paid the loan as per the agreement each month and Isn’t due to finish until end of sept, now I’m get charged interest and being harassed daily saying it’s over due when it’s NOT. Wish I never took out this loan it’s costed me everything. AVOID ITS NOT WORTH THE HASSLE.

I had an instalment due 29.06.2026, as per their email - funds available and no payment attempted. Payment attempted on 01.07.26, when other direct debits are taken. I I’m me transferred funds and made a payment via their webpage.

Thereafter I received several emails and texts demanding the payment in full/late payment fees. I called to confirm my payment was successful and instalments remain the same - this was confirmed on the phone.

Days after I’m still receiving emails demanding the balance in full. I’m not financially facing repercussions for this company’s late collection of funds.

I have contacted them via their webpage and telephone and seem to be getting nowhere!

Always so helpful and informative . Quick application and pay out if you have used before especially . Also they give you a bit of breathing space with the first payment unlike some companies who take payment the same month . I've used Ondal several times and never had any problems great company .

Appalling scammers they must be proud of looking at their ugliness in the mirror. 1 week behind i made the first payment. Now these scammers cancelled the agreement which was 4 installments and harass me day after day to repay the whole loan which i cant anyway so they will have a long wait. They are adding a ridiculous daily interest which is not even in the contract. They van sue me if they want i will sue them myself. Absolute disgraceful morons.

Not even wavy of a star as this company is basically a lone shark company as thay have i made a payment on the 28th July and my next payment isn't due till the 28th of August. But yeah I am getting messages off them daily saying we are now adding daily interest of £2.40

Absolutely shocking company avoid at all costs scammers the lot of them. Have asked on several occasions for them to contact me without any replies my total I owe seems to magically be growing.

I paid my July payment early as I pay when I get my 4 weekly pension I don’t understand why I am being told I owe Julys payment?? If I clear it in August when I get paid will I still be told I owe???

Worst company ever . They tell you to contact them over the phone . I’ve been on the phone with them for 45 minutes not spoken to a single person . I’ve been on hold . This is absolutely ridiculous. Avoid this company at all costs . They treat customers like shit

Had a loan which was paid back actually in advance but on asking for a further loan was declined. Was only asking for a small amount. Not impressed. AVOID.

They never borrow you again. One loan pay on time and another is declined 😏 My scoring is still same like before when i apply first loan. It's joke !

I was accepted for a £400 Loan with interest to be repaid over 4 months - 4 instalments. The first instalment £144 was paid a little over 4 hours after 12am. I instantly received tons of emails calls and texts saying I now owe the FULL BALANCE in one go, with £12 interest added per day!! Despite making the first payment, I contacted them via the online form to explain the situation (I struggle with telephone conversations) and received a generic almost ai response. The harassment has continued since. I am unable to pay anymore into the loan until the date of the next instalment (pay day) so will be accruing £12 interest per day alongside my credit score being butchered! I will probably never get to the point of paying the loan off entirely now due to the HUGE amount of interest being added, I have contact Ondal again to ask for my payment plan to be reinstated as it were but am yet to receive a reply. I will never use nor recommend ondal again.

Greats initial experience quick and easy process however I payed off the loan early but when applying for a new loan at a later time I was declined however nothing has changed with my circumstances in fact if anything they have improved. I have read other peoples reviews and comments that state they also seem to have been declined for paying off early which doesn’t quite seem fair at all.

Getting the loan was quick and easy but the bombarding of emails and text messages when a payment is due is a bit too much. One email would suffice, you don’t have to send several emails and a text message, the customer knows when the payment is due

Update! I have had to chase them twice today as payment was not taken, their response was ‘they have a lot of payments due today so there is a delay’ which is not acceptable. These cause more headaches than they are worth so I would stay away from them.

They are the worst loan company to go to please if you can avoid them at all cost, I requested for a loan to be paid back in 4months, after 4months I contacted them for repayment plan as I couldn’t afford to pay the full loan back, only for them to be charging interest daily on the current loan so that the repayment is double the loan I requested for robbery in broad day light, I communicated with them, then they had the nerve to send me a stupid legal email saying they have been trying to contact me which is a big fat lie and they put on Equifax that I have a default even though I have been paying monthly, I will be taking legal actions against them myself, if you want headache and unwanted mental health stress proceed with this company.
