Completely misleading and sent me 9.98 preapproval and then came back at 18.99 . I have only been back in the country for 2 years and I have other approvals for 13 and 14 percent with other lenders. Do not waste your time!!!!! Completely dishonest!

On October 16th, 2025, I was approved to refinance my auto loan through open road lending. They promised a payoff check would be sent to my current lender within 3-5 business days. After 10 business days later they still never sent the payoff check. After a lot of back and forth they finally admitted the primary loan officer was out of office. The fill in loan officer missed it. Now I am late with my current lender. I am past due with a late fee. Still as of October 31st my current lender has not received the payoff check.

Open road said that FedEx lost the payoff check. So now today they said they would make a new payoff check and give me a FedEx overnight tracking number. They have not done so. Now my current lender wants their payment plus a late fee. And now open road lending partnered with Westlake and I owe them a payment within 3 weeks. I owe two banks for the same car payment. Horrible.

This entire experience was terrible. I wish I never got into this mess. I wish I never met open road. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Easy process u can do everything on your phone

Not only am I grateful to have refinanced my vehicle but I am also grateful that OpenRoad was so understanding and open to work with me considering my circumstances. Easy re-fi I was a little concerned at first cause I was hit with your loan is with a different company but it seems good so far.

Your deceptive pre-approval brings hope and then misery. There is no personal involvement to see why my previously perfect credit went haywire. You make it sound so good on your 'approval' letter, and then make a hard hit to my credit, which lowers my score even more - and then decline me when I make over $100,000 a year. Shame on you for giving one hope, then dash their joy into anger. You're no different than the others.

Elizabeth Gonzales really delivered on her word. Not only did she provide world class customer service, she delivered and kept her word! She called me with updates and made sure that everything she said she was going to do she did! In this day and age coming across people like her is the reason why customers like myself stay loyal to a brand!

I was told I was approved for refinancing my vehicle. Even received a cover letter. Then I’m told I didn’t meet the minimum income requirement. They didn’t inform me of a minimum and when I was told what the minimum was, I assured them that I earn well enough more than the minimum income. I had proof ready to send but being self-employed they trusted nothing but a link that was sent to me. I earn 3x’s more than what’s required. Very disappointed with the company. Never will refer them.

I was looking to apply for refinancing. This process was so easy using mobile phone and e-mail. The representative becomes your person. I am old school like knowing who I’m dealing with. The process was done in 2 days within a week car paid off!

Rachel with the Loan Savings Team was great to work with. She was always answered my questions in a timely manner, and made sure that I was informed about each step in the loan process.
I was a bit concerned when I received an email from a lender that did not approve but within a few days I received an email from my lender and tracking information for the check they sent to the old lender.
Overall my experience was good and everyone I spoke with via phone or email was informative.
