They take your money, don’t have stock and product arrives two months after ordering. Wouldn’t recommend
Very disappointing experience
Very disappointing experience. My order was advertised as having a 2–3 week dispatch time, but after four weeks it still hadn’t progressed beyond “Pick”. Multiple enquiries received only an automated response until I followed up repeatedly. The order was eventually dispatched only after I indicated I would lodge a bank dispute. It did finally arrive with all items, but it was poorly packaged. Great Bowden’s Own products, but the communication, dispatch times and customer service were well below expectations.
Ordered cable over a month ago and not received
Ordered cable over a month ago. Total was almost $300 including delivery. Not advised but clearly not held in stock. Not delivered yet and no notifications received to say it’s on its way. Be wary of this company. If, like me, you’re on a tight timeframe don’t bother. Find it in stock somewhere else. Very disappointed
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE
Its been over 4 months waiting for an update to my order. The company has shut their phones down and i cannot get any information via email. I may as well have taken my money and thrown it into the wind. Unacceptable merchant practices and the worst communication and customer service around.

If you don't have it in stock do not mark it as in stock and expect customer to wait while you back order.
I would like to review my product but…
I would like to review my product but it has not arrived nor have I been advised of any progress. The phone number provided by the company tells you of delays please email them. After a long wait for no answer I did email and several days later still waiting for a reply. All I can say is don't use these guys if you want a product in the short term. I am sure they are advertising stock for sale they do not have on hand.

Quite honestly THE worst customer service via email, phone, AND in person I have ever encountered. Rediculous.
Outback Equipment kept advertising "Dispatch in 5 days" after confirming my order wouldn't be available for weeks
I ordered a compressor on 21 May because it was advertised as "Dispatch in 5 days."
Instead, 11 days later Outback Equipment admitted they were waiting on supplier stock, and two days after that confirmed the supplier ETA was late June—around six weeks after I placed my order.
What frustrated me most was what happened next.
On 1 June I sent them a screenshot showing the product page still advertised "Dispatch in 5 days." They replied, but the listing stayed unchanged.
On 4 June I raised it again. They replied again.
On 8 June I sent another screenshot. They replied again.
Only after that final exchange did they confirm the dispatch estimate had been updated.
The issue wasn't that the supplier was delayed. The issue was that I repeatedly brought the dispatch estimate to their attention, they acknowledged it each time, and it remained on the product page until after my final complaint. In my opinion, leaving it live after being shown repeatedly that it was inaccurate could only have served to mislead consumers into buying.
The advertised dispatch timeframe was why I bought from them, and because I relied on it I didn't have the compressor when I needed it.

Terrible Service and Poor Supply Time
Ordered a set of Rock Tamers on the 18th of May and as of today the 20th of June still a no show. Outback Equipment are saying they will not have stock until late this month. I am heading away on the 1st of July and felt 6 weeks prior to leaving was sufficient time to receive them. I was wrong. This is not the first time this has happened to me. I won't be back for another time. Really poor service.
Ordered a pump on 6/6/26 - still waiting
Ordered a pump on 6/6/26. As of 19/6/26 item still has not been dispatched. An email inquiry on 16/6/26 has gone unanswered. If you want a part or piece of equipment in a hurry, DO NOT use Outback Equipment. UPDATE 6/7/26 - sourced the pump over the counter from another supplier after OE cancelled my order. Now I'm still waiting for my refund. DO NOT USE OUTBACK EQUIPMENT they are pathetic

My god where do U start with such a bad company. All these years of buying on line this has to be worst company I've ever delt with. I'm actually baffled how their still in business. Seriously stay well clear of this business ule regret buying from them their a big scam U won't see Ure product or refund they just feed U lies . They sound like a professional business in their email but believe me it's all fake.
Dreadful customer service and delivery
I placed an order with Outback Equipment for a camping mat. Later that week, I received a notice that it was being delivered by Aramex. I advised Aramex to safe drop it by the front doors of the glass foyer of our building if I was not home. I received a note from Aramex saying they attempted delivery, but no one was home, and the parcel would be left at a pick-up location 5 km away. I do not have a car. I have experienced this with Aramex on several occasions. I phoned Aramex, who advised they could see my message to 'safe-drop' and they didn't know why the driver didn't leave the parcel. They said they would get back to me. It is now two days later, and I have received no contact from Aramex, and there has been no attempt to deliver it. I sent an email to Outback Equipment and they did not respond either. Two working days had passed, so I phoned them. I was told they could not find my email, but they would "lodge an inquiry" about the delivery. When I told the woman I had found the email I had sent, she casually said: "Yeah, I can see an email from you now". It would have been appropriate for her to tell me she had found my email and to apologise. She then told me that I could have a store credit but no refund on the item. We are picking up a new RV in the next few weeks, and I want to be sure that we can get a camping mat before then. I began to tell her that a credit was not OK, but she talked over me and told me that if I was going to speak to her in that tone, she would disconnect the call. I was annoyed, but I was not yelling at all. She disconnected the call. I now have no idea of what will happen with my order and have sent an email asking Customer Service to contact me.
Do yourself a favour

Don't bother with this company. Their service is shoddy at best.
They refuse to explain why the Order we placed was OUT For Delivery on 20th May 2025 and here we are NINE DAYS (9 Days) and still no delivery
Have contacted them by email many times with little progress.
They refuse to take Phone Calls & IF you manage to get to speak to somebody they don't listen and want to always Blame somebody else.
You Purchase from them it is THEIR RESPONSIBILITY to ensure delivery is complete.
Have Requested a Refund and they tried to deny & force a Store Credit. This is against Consumer Law & a customers Right to a Refund for NON-Delivery of Product Ordered.
They Refuse to Phone Courier directly nor provide an adequate responses as to why delivery has NOT taken Place.
Sadly only way to get a refund was to Open a Case through Paypal.
Refund on Evidence almost immediate.
Customer Service less than acceptable...

I wouldn’t even give this company a 1 star if I could put less
I ordered a product one month ago and it has just arrived.
The customer service have very little to no reply unless you threaten fair trading then suddenly you get replies straight away.
I had no update on my order and they continued deflecting why my product hadn’t been sent yet! This was an awning wall set that cost nearly $700!
I will never deal with this company again. It shouldn’t be up to the customers to chase up their order from a month ago when their website stated 1-6 days.
Definitely do not purchase from here!!!!!
You will have a terrible time tracking down getting your item/s.

Delayed order: no stock levels indicators, thus no certainty of getting your order
Ordered parts with no indication of stock levels on their shop portal. After waiting 2 weeks, I emailed asking where my delivery was and then got a reply noting that one item on my order is to be in stock within 2 days. Thus more than 2 weeks after my initial order.
I thought my order would be fulfilled and posted once that part was in stock, but another 2 weeks later and no delivery and no communication from the service team.
I emailed again as a follow up - still waiting. Phoning them is a joke: ages in the queue with no answering.
I would not order again from this place due to 1) false advertising due to not indicating stock levels thus you have no idea if you will get your order in time, and 2) bad service after I placed my order with no follow-up.

Worst online experience ever!
Worst online experience ever!
15 days after order and $478 payment, a non responded email then an outbound call only to receive a email telling me they think the product will be with them late May. Now 4 days since my reply email asking if I will have the product by 7 June it’s crickets again.
I’m seriously wondering who runs this show, will I next hear that the business has tipped over and I’ve lost my money?
This business has serious issues, the poor staff appear to be lost with no leadership.
