We are using our Outdoor Router on a building site with a Nest camera to provide site security and also timelapse videos.

The router was been very reliable, the only issue we had was when our mobile network provider decided to block our SIM due to high data usage. The router was reporting “SIM disabled” but the Outdoor Router support team were really helpful and assisted me to find the problem. After a call to our mobile company they unblocked the SIM and everything was working again.

I would definitely recommend this system to anyone needing an outdoor router!

This is a decent product. We've been using it for 9 months on our offshore sailing boat. Support was good when we bought it to help figure basic questions.

We've managed to get internet up to 12nm offshore and it's worked consistently with no issues to report. Speed is good and the WiFi is solid.

Set-up is pretty straight forwards. It's easy to get confused by the technical looking interface but there are only really three settings needed.

This is a hybrid commercial / consumer product so an 'easy set-up mode' would be nice but you can pay a nominal fee to them and they'll do it for you in a few minutes.

I moved from the UK to a rural location in Spain and could not get any broadband internet or ground-satellite signal whatsoever. I purchased a cheap wireless dongle locally, which barely worked...i could just about send emails.

The Outdoor-router I purchased was the Cat 6 router with two additional antennas. Sophie Tang from the company assisted me in how to install, which turned out to be very easy. I installed the antennas at a 90 degree angle towards the nearest 4G cell tower, again all assistance provided by Sophie. You can find your nearest 4G cell tower on numerous sites via Google.

The results are amazing, I can freely stream YouTube and Netflix videos in HD and also watch my Amazon Firestick live with no problems at all, which is an absolute God send!!!

Don't be in any doubt, this setup really is amazing. I recently had an issue whereby the internet went down and Sophie was straight on it providing all the customer service assistance I needed to be up and running again (simply pressed the reset button on the router) and for someone like me who is not tech savvy it was much appreciated.

SO happy with this product, and I hope this review gives others the confidence that a bad internet situation can be resolved. Actually, this whole experience has made me realise just how vital the internet is as a utility......on par with gas and electricity.

Excellent product, out of the box first impressions are a really well made device, configuration very simple and the system communicating very quickly over dynamic DNS, had one small glitch where I wanted to change administration port from port 80 to port 90. This was resolved very quickly after an email with tech support. We will be adding this to our range of products, we do a lot of 4G installs but this device is great as it can be mounted outdoors and only requires one network cable for both power and data making installation quick and simple.

I should add that delivery was very fast within 48 hours from ordering.

Well built product and customer service is second to none. Very prompt and knowledgeable about their devices and quick to fix any issues you might be having.

Awful product, couldn't get it to work then paid for technical support which fixed the problem when he was on the phone but then stopped working again. They now do not respond to any e mails or requests for a refund. Do yourself a favor and buy a well known brand that offers proper customer support and refunds for faulty items. Its a real shame as the product is well made and robust it just doesn't work!!

This is an extremely well made product and the back-up and support is second to none. I did have some trouble getting my Vodafone sim to work. Most of this was down to Vodafone but some was my fault, lack of technical ability. The supplier reacted extremely fast and after remote connecting to my device it's all working well. I highly recommend this product and this supplier

The outdoorrouter product I have received is well built and sturdy, and I am sure it will do the job, but it has a very technical interface and very poor user instructions that come with the product. Only buy this if you are happy to spend a few hours setting it up and perhaps getting someone from tech support to help you.
