Love the 12v 11,500btu rooftop Glacier Pro with the heat pump option. I would love to submit a more detailed review, but Trustpilot doesn't allow me to cut and paste in an existing review I have already written up in a Word document and I am not willing to re-type it again. Pictures would also be nice to share too.

The heater/ac combo unit is amazing and cools down my red neck camper in less than 10 minutes! The decibel level is very tolerable! Overall the unit is very light, the super low profile design cuts through the air with minimal to no noticeable noise while traveling.

From the receiving the top mounted unit to installation was flawless. The best part is to have a unit that can work on DC power to properly address our particular need in the workshop on wheels program. The install instructions are clear and easy to understand and the adaptability to different settings is unmatched. A great AC unit to preserved a comfortable temperature even in extreme hot environments of the south.

I purchased the OutEquipPro Summit 2 Air Conditioning unit for my camper van and both the product and the customer service are exceptional.

I replaced my traditional AC unit with the Summit 2 because it runs on DC power and is efficient enough to run for up to 8 hours on battery power. While traveling in the desert, it was perfect for keeping the van cool enough for my dog when stopping to see attractions! The other added benefit is the lower profile which decreases the over all height of the van.

OutEquipPro's customer service was also excellent. There was damage during shipping to the cover for the AC unit and customer service quickly responded and resolved the issue by shipping out a new cover.

I would definitely recommend OutEquipPro for their quality product and customer service.

After installing the OutEquipPro 10,000 BTU air conditioner in my Winnebago Solis 59P, I’ve been extremely impressed with its performance, efficiency, and ease of use. For anyone looking for a reliable 12V air conditioning solution for van life or off-grid camping, this unit is worth serious consideration.

The biggest advantage is its cooling performance. Even on hot summer days, the OutEquipPro cools the interior of the RV quickly—typically bringing the temperature down to a comfortable level in about 15 minutes. Despite its strong cooling capacity, the energy consumption is very manageable, making it practical for extended use without constantly worrying about battery drain.

One of the standout features is that it runs directly from the vehicle’s 12V electrical system. We had several questions before we purchased the summit 2 air conditioner for our golf cart. They got back with me promptly and answered our questions.

We purchased the 48 volt. We have installed it on our golf cart with some bracing and it works great! We attached it to our lithium batteries and we can run it on standard air and the golf cart for approximately 7 hours. Makes playing golf a lot more bearable on these hot days

First the equipment is great, I added it to a kubota rtv. I had a issue on my end and they walked me through it. Kevin at the company was great and went above and beyond to make sure I had the best experience with the AC unit. I highly recommend the products.

It is Truly A Miracle 🧞‍♀️ That it fit on my van roof.😃🎁 I have (2) 400 watt solar panels up there and it fit with no room to share😁 I AM over the top GreatFul/ThankFull/Appreciative for the OutEquip Pro 12v A/c with Heat 😁 It was a MUCH MORE simple/easier install than a truck cab 12volt a/c that we had installed on a Horse trailer several years back.🙃 Even tho we had to make a few slight adjustments. It came already filled with the refrigerant and that was Epic.😁🎁 The OutEquip Pro Customer Service Team has been Fab-U-Lish-US To Work with. I have had soooooo Many questions and "what if-s" The Team answered them and in a timely manner. For that I AM Extremely GreatFul as well 🤗

We added the outequip A/C unit on top of our travel van before a road trip from Tennessee to Colorado. We were well pleased with its performance throughout the trip, day and night as often as it was used. I’d recommend this unit to anyone looking to stay cool and look cool cruising down the street with it!

I got the rooftop 12V DC air conditioner for my van and I am loving it! The install was easy, it is very efficient on my battery bank, and the ability to add a heater to it was a nice bonus. I did a lot of research to the DC powered AC units and this seems to be the best in terms of low profile, weight, and overall efficiency.

Their customer service is also very helpful and responsive if any questions pop up during install or the initial boot up.

OutEquip has been super easy to deal with! We are a wholesaler for their products in Canada. Our customers have all been very happy with the units, and they have been flying off the shelves faster than we can keep them in stock!

Recently finished the install of the 12V A/C with supplemental heating. Very impressed with how quiet it is. I installed in our van conversion but couldn't use the trim piece inside as it was too wide and would interfere with my lights. Contacted customer support and the quickly responded with feedback on my inside trim idea (made a smaller trim using marine vinyl material used on the walls) and clearance questions on the outside of the van.

We previously had a van build by a big manufacturer and the A/C was so loud outside I was embarrassed to use it if there were other campers nearby. The OutEquipPro is extremely quiet and I would have no problem running it day or night around other campers.

Supplemental heating also tested and will work to warm things up on chilly morning when we don't want to get out of bed to turn on the main heating system. Overall, impressed with the unit and customer service.

We used to hear complaints from the kids about the car not cooling in the back of our 15-passenger van for our road trips in Arizona. After getting this outequip A/C for our Ford Transit, the most recent roadtrips were filled with "thank you" and the airflow from the A/C unit was quiet, comfortable and perfect. Thank you, Outequip!

From start to finish prep work and install total 8 hours. I first started by moving my existing 3 ea 100watt solar panels out of the way. Then removing my fan unit from the 14”x14” cutout cleaning area around cutout for mounting gasket. I then rerouted the power cable to be installed through the inside of unit. It was easier than expected to do this and went smoothly. Once I got the unit on top of van leaving it in the box to move up the latter without scratches I placed the 14”x14” gasket in place and caulked around lower edges. Placed unit in cutout with ease of alignment. It was a bit of work to rout my cables with existing interior sealing in place but carefully completed that. Probably in the end that’s what took the longest time. Happy to say everything went well with following the manual and watching a few installs on youtube planing ahead for each step to take while installing. I also was able to mount my existing solar panels forward of the AC unit leaving plenty of room for the unit to keep cool while running.
Company was easy to work with and answered all of my questions promptly. Unit arrived on time without damage.

We installed the 12 volt rooftop air conditioner on top of our 22 foot enclosed cabin boat. It has been working great and we really like the low profile. The customer service is great. If you have a issue or question, they are very responsive in a timely manner.

I recently hired Live-A-Little Vans in Connecticut install the OutEquipPro Summit2 OEP2500 12V rooftop air conditioner w/heater in my Ford Transit 250 camper. I appreciate to compact design, low weight, and efficiency of this unit. The unit was shipped promptly to the installer and Live-A-Little had installed in less than 2 days. Since the van is very well insulated and I don’t intend camping in extreme heat or frigid temperatures, the 10,000 BTU unit is more than adequate. The power draw is relatively low, so my existing LiFePO4 infrastructure can easily handle the load. No invertor power loss from converting 120VAC to 12VDC and the unit is whisper quiet.
I also appreciate the quick response from OutEquip’s customer service. When I asked for an electronic copy of the unit’s owner’s manual, they sent me one in a matter of hours.
I look forward to years of reliable air conditioning and heating from my OutEquipPro rooftop unit.

I recently purchased the Summit 2 12V rooftop a/c unit from OutEquipPro to install on my 2020 Ford Transit 250 camper van.

I encountered a few issues with the install due to having a thicker-than-average roof which required me to purchase longer screws. I also wasn't confident in my understanding of the electrical system requirements and wanted to make sure the system would work with my Jackery.

I reached out to customer support for each of those topics separately, and was really impressed with both the speed and quality of their responses. Not only does OutEquipPro have a high-quality, energy efficient, and affordable product, their customer service team (including really elegant AI Agents) are killing it.

We bought the OutEquipPro 10,000 btu rooftop AC/heater for our 2015 Ram ProMaster.
So far it has been a great experience. We’ve only had it installed for two weeks now.
The A/C unit was easy to install, lightweight and sleek, quiet, and is performing at or better than spec.
I haven’t tested in all situations, but preliminary testing is showing great results.
One thing has me puzzled…. They have a Bluetooth module, which is not offered or seen during the checkout process on their website….
It would be great to have the option of having the Bluetooth module installed prior to shipping, as an add-on.
I recommend this product.

Installed this unit on my van and the cooling has been excellent. Customer support answered my wiring questions right away, which gave me confidence during setup. One tip I got from them—don’t overtighten the mounting bolts. Just hand tight or 1–2 Nm is enough.

I’m running this AC on my trailer. It cools reliably, installation was simple, and OutEquipPro’s support team was excellent when I reached out with questions.
