I recently took part in this experience that was completely different from the usual group day out and I can’t recommend it enough.
The day was a perfect mix of creativity and relaxation: we tried our hand at crafting, learned practical outdoor skills, and then relaxed in the infrared sauna before braving the invigorating cold-water dip - if this is your thing!
All of this was paired with fantastic food, great conversation, and views that were simply stunning.
If you’re looking for something that helps you switch off, breathe fresh air, and try something new, this is ideal. It works brilliantly as a team building day with colleagues, a fun outing with friends, or even a personal treat. The team at Outlet were outstanding, welcoming, organised, and made sure everything ran smoothly so we could just enjoy ourselves.

This training was very thorough and enjoyable. There was lots of time for hands-on practise of skills which has made me much more confident in working outdoors. The trainer was excellent and gave lots of clear guidance to the group. I loved it and learned lots.

The Forest School Leader training led by Christine (who was supported by Lis and Alan), was just outstanding. Christine, Lis and Alan were so generous with their knowledge and were so patient with us as we learned new skills. I can't praise the team highly enough! I've been on so many trainings over the past thirty years of 'adulting' and this was by far the best. Those wow moments of personal achievement, wow moments of personal connection and wow moments at the wonder of nature will stay with me forever and percolate into all of my future therapeutic work with children and families.

The instructors were extremely knowledgeable, experienced and very, very patient with my myriad questions and repeated attempts to master The Falconer's Knot.

They taught me how to make natural firelighters from old candle wax and how to make charcoal from old
t-shirts and sweety tins. They also furthered my own knowledge about which wood to use for specific whittling activities, not at all easy on your own.

I can't thank them enough and look forward to the forthcoming twilight upskilling sessions.
