They are really great!! Everyone is very friendly and can’t do enough for you. I would definitely recommend them!

I bought two courses for my teenage daughter. The contact form her tutors was limited, she grew more uncertain about her subjects, and they completely missed (in both subjects) that she had not contacted them for over three months. She tried to complete the work on her own not wanting to admit to me that such a costly expense was failing. I have asked for a refund as the tutors did not contact me or her regarding her lack of contact- and they don't answer my emails or letters. Pot luck if you get a good tutor it might be great, but I wouldn't trust them.

I would recommend Oxford home schooling as my daughter found this way of learning to be excellent
The tutors and staff provide great feedback and support and the structure of the courses follows the national curriculum but with the freedom to work at your own pace
My daughter is now going on to a post graduate diploma

Amazing customer service, very helpful and friendly, they go above and beyond to ensure you get as much help as possible. My son achieved grade A in Psychology GCSE and thoroughly enjoyed the course content, great tutor support and encouragement with his assignments. Looking forward to our next course - Sociology GCSE, which has been set up and got underway so very promptly, greatly appreciated. Our experiences have been wonderful, thank you.

I was very happy with this service, my daughter received frequent and useful tutor contact throughout her courses and achieved three A-level grades that she was very happy with! The staff were always polite and helpful, and frequently available to answer any of my or my daughter‘s queries. Wonderful!

My daughter has studied with OOL for 3 years and they are so supportive and helpful. Everything has been so smooth from initial enquiry through to exams and beyond. I can honestly not fault anything, the materials are clear and concise, tutors are helpful and friendly. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Courses are easy to follow , but would recommend taking time to decide whether to study GCSE courses in a 1 or 2 year period due to the level of work required.

Physics IGCSE
Well written physics course with excellent tutor support. My daughter found it very helpful and easy to follow. She was really pleased with her result (A) and is going on to study it at A level.

Not the greatest experience in my opinion. You seem to be left on your own quite a lot, the exam centres are not as easy to find as is indicated initially. I wasn't impressed with the quality of the coursework books, they were confusing and lacked clear information in places. I am educated to post grad level and sometimes when my son needed help, I would try and read the material, but I found it confusing and ambiguous at times. Yet simultaneously some of the wording used seemed more suited to a much higher standard of education. I truly wish I could be more positive.

Excellent tutors. The teachers have really helped with my two sons. Best tutoring service I've come across in Oxford I'd humbly submit.

You can learn a lot using Oxford Home Schooling resources, but you have to do everything yourself, they don't offer a lot of support.
It also depends on which tutor you get, some of the tutors are excellent, while others are not as proficient.
If you are accustomed to studying by yourself then you would fare quite well with Oxford Home Schooling, otherwise it could be unprofitable for you

A good option for a child fitting in full time sport. Need to keep in contact with the tutors regularly and use their expertise.

As a homeschooling student, I have worked with many facilitating educational establishments over my career and I'm only sorry I didn't use Oxford Home Schooling before my A-levels! Comparing it with other providers, this is away up and beyond. Besides the textbooks for the course, the course folders have lots of good teaching and learning resources, and my tutor was excellent, providing regular face-to-face support online and over the phone. This is the best learning experience ever - I would recommend it to anyone!

My son completed 2 IGCSE with OHS. The courses are very thorough and the tutor support is valuable as a marker of where the student is grade wise. I will be coming back to OHS for key stage 3 for my other child.

I can honestly say that during my time using oxford homeschooling, that I have enjoyed it alot. The tutors that you can contact anytime by via skype or email have akways been helpful and freindly. They gave me good advice and marked my work well.

The second thing I would like to include is how the work folders you recive are well written, with examples, explananations and the things called TMA's. They are assignments that you send to your tutor for marking. If you are thinking that these folders are so big that you wont be able to finish the in time for the exam you're wrong. I finsihed my, Religious education, sociology, Math and English way before the exam, meaning I had alot of time to revise and practice.

The only negative thing I could say is that sometimes the work can be difficult and as you don't have a teacher there with you, you might have to wait a little time for help, but help always come.

I would reconmend offord homeschooling to anyone who is interested.

My son had been out of school for two years - OOL were recommended to us, and we decided that a physical course with a tutor was a good way to go for him.
It worked really well - my son was able to study at his own pace, the marking of his work was prompt and comments were constructive.
The assistance from OOL in terms of exam applications was much appreciated, and meant the actual exam sitting process was very straightforward for us.
If I'm honest, he probably only really worked & studied for the second year of the two year course - but he gained solid B's at GCSE which was exactly what he needed to enter VIth form college for his A Levels.

Whatever the reason might be for electing to home educate your children, it is no doubt a big, life changing decision.
We have 4 daughters and had never given home education a second thought. Our oldest 2 daughters had really benefited and enjoyed their school life experience.
When one of our younger daughters fell seriously ill whilst away on a primary school stay away trip, everything changed dramatically. This affected her later transition onto secondary school, which became a step too far for her!
After all the other options had been exhausted, we decided to take her 'off roll' and start H.E. It was the best decision that we could have made on her behalf. A year later our youngest daughter joined her.

We felt that at GCSE/IGCSE level, we were not equal to the standard of education that our older daughters had experienced. For subjects that we could not find local tutors for, we turned to Oxford Home Schooling.

We contacted them by telephone, they gave us plenty of time to talk through all our concerns regarding H. E. With their help, experience and guidance we put in place a attainable goal of subjects for IGCSE's.

They carefully chose for us the right tutors for all the subjects the girls were to study with them. They took account of our daughters ages and previous academic experience.

We were delighted with the progress and outstanding support that the tutors gave to our daughters. Both of our H.E. girls are now at Further Education Colleges, having attained the required examination results with the help of our private tutors and Oxford Home Schooling.

My daughter took in an English A level year 2 having moved to another part of the country and could not access it through state education. the support and guidance offered on line was very helpful and enabled her to complete the course and pass her exam.

My children were able to follow the course materials and submit TMAs without asking for much guidance or help from the tutors. As a result, I feel they didn't get very much from the tutors who were largely reactive rather than proactive. I feel I paid quite a lot effectively for the materials and TMA marking.

Had no problems with service from registration through to information to book exams.Back up of tutors combined with course work information excellent .As a parent it is really helpful to be copied into emails and assignment marks and comments .Overall an excellent service
