I have taken out lifetime contact with Oyster.
It has to be the worst vpn on the market.
I have had nothing but trouble on my phone, pc and tv.
It drops out refuses to load and stops many of my apps working, unable to connect to many sites on PC.
Dispite contacting support the bbc iPlayer will not work with this VPN, there is still only one UK server available, and support said that the problem would be fixed in 24 hours,that was over a week ago. I don't know why oyster are seeking verification for this review all they have to do is try to use BBC iPlayer from there only one server. Originally I contacted oyster on 22nd December about problem with the UK servers, today after a long delay they have fixed the issue. I shall be monitoring the situation going forward and because it is now working I am changing from a one star to a three star rating. Have not used the vpn for a while but it's once again not working properly, if this persists I will have to downgrade my review to one star.

Bought the VPN, within a week it stopped working for days
Cancelled my subscription and requested a refund as per the 30 days bur they refused
After a period of time I experienced a problem connecting to the VPN. I found the chat box service frustrating and decided to email technical support. The written reply was comprehensive and resolved the problem.

Had some problems with connection to their servers after upgrading to macos26 (Tahoe). (Before that, everything worked fine). I mailed to their support and first I received an answering-mail back with some help. That did not solve my problem. Then Jason, a technician with Oyster, helped me (AnyDesk) and now everything works fine again.

Bought a subscription and have had issues nearly every week since.
Their site was timing out on logins for a few days. Now all of their servers are down.
Very unreliable. Headache and unreliability is not worth the few bucks saved.
Seemingly no customer support as well. Have not received a response from their support chat, support email, or from Instagram.
I tried it as a promo from stacksocial.com and would say its good for price.
If i ask the support within 24h i get a answer.
Mostly used for online gaming.

Voy a contar mi experiencia real con esta VPN. Me atrajo su publicidad con una suscripción de por vida por menos de 60$. Vi que tenía una opción de 1 mes por 5,99$ y decidí probarla con intención de, si me convencía, contratar después la opción de por vida. La contratacion a través de PayPal fue sencilla, e inmediatamente pude usar el producto durante, aproximadamente, 2 horas. Era sábado por la mañana. Cuando dejó de funcionar probé de todo, reiniciar móvil, desinstalar App... En su web publicitan asistencia 24/7 así que, a las 13:21 horas del 13 de septiembre, escribo un correo a su servicio de asistencia, pero no tengo respuesta; mando otros 5 correos más reclamando su ayuda, el último el lunes día 15 a las 16:22 horas. No hay respuesta... Y la VPN sigue sin funcionar... Así que busco ahora el contacto de atención al cliente, no el de asistencia, y les escribo a las 16:32 horas explicando lo sucedido. Me contestan a las 18:22, me dicen que mi suscripción mensual les aparecía como cancelada, pero que no me preocupe porque la han reactivado y todo estaba arreglado. Así que voy tan alegre a la App e intento conectar la Vpn, nada, se queda pensando indefinidamente y no conecta, lo mismo que ocurría antes. Esto ya me da muy mala espina... Si voy a tener que estar así con ellos esto va a ser una locura. A las 21 horas les escribo para decirles que todo sigue igual y que deseo desistir de la compra con devolución del dinero pagado. Su publicidad en la web, en inglés, dice textualmente esto:

Ellos me contestan con evasivas, me piden autorización para entrar en mi tráfico para estudiar más a fondo mi caso. Lo pienso y no veo que gano con que entren en mi tráfico, es un ataque frontal a mi privacidad, el motivo por el que contrato una VPN. Así que les digo que no autorizo y les vuelvo a insistir en que desisto de la compra, de modo que quiero mi dinero de vuelta tal como prometen en su publicidad. Pero no hay manera, me dicen que antes les tengo que autorizar a examinar mi cuenta y que, solo en el caso de que sea un problema técnico de ellos, podrían ver la devolución del dinero... No me lo puedo creer, lo que anuncian es un engaño, se lo recuerdo de nuevo y me vuelven a insistir en que autorice a sus desarrolladores a examinar mi cuenta con propósito de diagnóstico. Que pesados y que impertinente!!! Que no, que mis datos son míos, y sus problemas técnicos me importan un pimiento. Les reitero mi decisión y les reclamo la devolución... A día de hoy todo sigue igual... No recomiendo a nadie que contraté este producto, es malo con ganas y no cumplen con sus propios compromisos, ni tienen soporte 24/7 ni devuelven tu dinero si no estás satisfecho. Yo a esto lo llamo estafa. He perdido 5,99$, lo doy por hecho, pero espero que no roben a ninguna persona más que pretenda contratar su VPN de buena fé o atraído por sus promesas publicitarias, sencillamente son mentira y, lo más importante, el producto es basura.

As a VPN novice I initially hit connectivity issues when trying to connect my Iphone 16e. I was continually getting 'cannot connect' messages on the phone app that required me to have discussions with support team. As a non technical person this was frustrating but the team obviously understood the issues as to my surprise when I tried the app a few hours later everything was working as I expected. claims 24/7 support but there is no single way to contact support in the website, not even an email to contact. how am I suppose to get support? their support page only has FAQ and no way to contact for technical issues!
