I was so intrigued by this drum and although the little tyke whose birthday was coming up is a distant relative, I thought it a most appropriate gift. His young mother is a music teacher, and little Hans loves to beat on things. The delivery was delayed , but the customer service team was on it immediately, and though a little late, I'm sure the recipients will enjoy them.

The product arrived within a week, just before my granddaughter's birthday. I know she will enjoy the drum.
I was nervous when I received the tracking e-mail from the shipping company in China. At one point, I thought it might be a scam. But thank God it wasn't, everything worked out well.

I ordered the small panda drum for our granddaughter‘s birthday. We live in the US and our granddaughter lives in London. There was a big mixup with the delivery service in London and the drum never got to her address. I had been writing back-and-forth with panda drum and they were very supportive and helpful in contacting the delivery service in London and then letting me know that if my granddaughter did not receive the drum they would either send out another one or offered me a full refund. The drum eventually got delivered but to the wrong address. Luckily the people at that address brought the drum over to Where my granddaughter lives. Panda drum was so supportive during this whole process. I would recommend them very highly.

The support team at Panda Drum was consistently very prompt in communicating with me. The representative was very helpful and resolved my issue to my complete satisfaction.

I ordered the drum one month ago still haven't received it, I've been trying to email them they don't respond and the tracking number is not valid.

This is the best gift I’ve ever purchased for myself. The product is BEAUTIFUL & presents exactly as advertised. It came with a carrying case, mallets, other small replacement parts & a booklet with songs & a link to tutorials, which I can’t wait to start.

I ordered the largest drum & had to change the shipping address afterward. Sarah Davies at Panda Drum responded immediately & helped me correct the address & then responded immediately AGAIN when I asked her to resend the tracking information I accidentally deleted (I’m a piping hot mess).

Today I received a 15-tone Panda drum 🥁 for my birthday. The teal drum 🥁 is so beautiful and the sound is so peaceful! The first song 🎶 I played was Happy Birthday! 🎁 I’m in love 💕

I am enjoying my drums. It is very nice to have an instrument that sounds so nice, is high quality, and has a song book that is easy to get started playing songs others can recognize.

The Panda Drum is wonderful instrument. Our seven year old loves the melodic sounds and calming notes that it produces.
Panda Drum’s customer support is fantastic. There was a slight problem, a misunderstanding actually that they bent over backwards to correct.
I highly recommend this beautiful soothing instrument for calming peaceful relaxation.

I was looking forward to receiving my drum bundle, when only half of it showed up. I was worried, but I contacted them and they shipped it out and I received it a while later They were great to work with.. My grandchildren are loving learning how to play the songs and it sounds beautiful!

Edit/addition: It's now October 30. It's been a week since I told them I'd change my review. I needed time to get to it. I've decided to just add my latest thoughts. My original purchase was the end of August. After I posted this review, Panda Drum flooded me with emails and phone calls, saying all the right things. That's what it took to get my drum, this negative review. My first negative review anywhere. The drum did finally come. And it was in good condition, and beautiful, and sounds like it does in their ads. They lost the original drum, but wouldn't just admit that and send me a new one, till I wrote the review. I don't know if I ever would have gotten a drum if I didn't write my review. I had written several emails before that. They did finally send out another drum, and tracked it with FedEx, and I got it. Along with my original order of a waterproof cover, which happened to come at the same time, but separately by itself, only wrapped in plastic, and was all smashed and marked. For $45 it should have been protected in a box. The drum itself was in great condition. It sounds good. But it's case looked like a cylindrical hat box, whose straps made accessing the zipper and taking out the drum hard, and had space for the drum to move around in, vs the more secure and protected gray fitted case in the pictures. And its tongues did not match the music book that came with it. After sending pictures and complaining about that, either the original drum that had been lost, or a whole new drum, arrived. They never did tell me. This one's tongues/notes matched the music book, and it had the properly fitted gray case. I was very happy with this new drum. It's what I should have gotten in the first place. My felt mallets never showed up. They were out of them. But I had to hound them to find that out. They did refund me $30 and sent me 3 more rubber mallets. I don't need more rubber mallets, but I appreciate the refund. And they sent me conflicting and out of order emails, telling me different things and giving me different options. It was very confusing. They did email me all the PDFs of the musical books. It's my fault I didn't catch that the books I did pay for were just PDFs, the Christmas one and the advanced book, which was disappointing for the cost. Now I have to pay more to go somewhere and have them printed out. And the music book that comes with the drum is so small. But it has fun songs, and my child was able to follow along and play Harry Potter and Frozen. She completely on her own said "I feel so calm after playing this", which was great to hear.

The things I'm complaining about might not bother anyone else and just be my preference. They said they are a small company. It's been a very odd and confusing, and frustrating experience. The drum itself, the one in the gray case, that matches the music book that came with it, is great. If I had gotten that within the 8-10 day window they said, I would have been so happy and given a 5-star review. Even if it had been lost, if they had just communicated honestly and clearly, directly, and made it right quickly, I would have still been happy. Things happen. Tariffs, boats sinking, shipping dock strikes, things happen, but tell me. Don't ignore a customer who has already paid for your product. And not a cheap one. Or I'm going to call fraud. I don't know if the one they fed-exed me was an older version or what. I'm surprised that it was the version they worked hard to get to me asap, vs the one that showed up later, possibly the original one I ordered. I don't know what to think. It's almost like maybe I was dealing with a counterfeit company or something, but I ordered directly from their website so I don't know. Maybe I just had the weirdest and 1% awful experience among 4.7% positives. I would go through a verified Amazon store if I were to ever buy another one, as an added safeguard to make sure you get it in a reasonable amount of time, and to feel more secure. But maybe my experience and anyone else's like it was a learning curve, and everything is all fixed and great now. I hope so if they really are a small company.

Panda Drum Never Showed Up

I ordered a Panda Drum Pro, really needing something to help anxiety from a family tragedy, really hopeful after reading other's reviews. For me, I'm just getting the run-around. I'm pretty sure most of the responses I'm receiving are AI vs a real person. They keep saying they're sorry, we'll work on it, have a supervisor reach out to you, now we'll send you a replacement, but what's your address again?, and blah blah blah. It's been almost a month and no drum. I'm getting ready to call my bank and report fraud.

I found my experience excellent. My emails were answered very quickly and my issues taken care of. Julie Sarah Davis was extremely helpful and polite.

The prompt attention to a problem and the solution was amazing. It makes you feel like they really appreciate your business and are anxious to help.
I will be doing business with them again.

The customer service for this company is outstanding! It's refreshing when you deal with real people who are very responsive and helpful. I bought 13 of the drums to be Christmas Gifts for family members. The drums were all delivered in the time frame posted. Everything went smoothly and I'm excited to hear my family's response when they open their gifts.

First I've started to see many ads about this drum. I've listened to it being played. I come from a very musical family who plays many different instruments. What drew me to this drum in general was the healing hertz that its tuned to. I've been feeling stressed along with insomnia and found that once I had recieved mine, it was love at first sight. I started with simple tunes which I can master pretty much in 2 days. It adds light and joy and I always look forward to playing it. Music is healing no matter what instrument. Highly recemend and worth every penny

At first, I was disappointed with my Panda Pro drum because I couldn't read the numbers. I contacted support, and received several phone calls and emails from Panda. They went above and beyond to resolve the issue and are sending decals that should have been included. The drum is larger than I expected, beautiful, and I love the sounds coming from it.

The drum was offered at a reasonable cost. It plays well and comes with all one needs to use it fully. The drum was delivered to the wrong address, however, which is not the fault of the company but rather the delivery service they used. I contacted Panda Drum support and had a response within 10 minutes. Everyone I had contact with was so helpful and concerned about ensuring that the drum arrived on my doorstep, which it did, about 24 hours later. I have never had a better customer service experience! Thank you Panda Drum!!!

I purchased this for my sister who has dementia. She is a music lover and used to play the piano and guitar which she is no longer able to do. The Panda drum is perfect for her as it sounds good no matter what she plays. Her friends in assisted living take turns playing it and the sounds are so peaceful, it doesn't bother anyone.

Purchased two drums on Aug 8, 2025.
Received the drums separately. The larger drum sounds very good and good volume. The smaller one sounds good too but slightly softer.
My wife who is into meditation and spiritual healing really liked it and feels that it is better than her other healing musical instruments and make her feel good and my cat also seems to appreciate the sound by wagging her tail while listening intently and eagerly.
