Just a warning.
paradisefibersshop.com is a bogus website. My order has not yet been received. They have sent me no tracking information despite repeated emails.

paradisefibers.com. (please note the different url) on the other hand have been extremely helpful.

People have complained about rigid heddle orders. However some of the problem is that Ashford products have to come via Ashford.
So yes it took about a month to get my rigid heddle reeds but that was hardly the fault of Paradise Fibers. And when there was an error it was taken care of immediately.
It's important to remember things happen and Paradise Fibers is a responsive retailer and in my case worked to fix problems that came up.
Last thing. I'm very fond of Ashford products but one needs to be a bit patient when ordering items.

I also ordered the rigid heddle loom stand in January, had my money taken out the day I ordered it and received the same email about a price increase. Customer service replied they were following their company "rules". I will never do business with this company again. Buyer beware.

Ordered a rigid heddle loom stand on January 13th that was advertised for $93. Today, February 26th received an email that they had made a mistake in pricing. They refused to honor their advertisement and refunded my money. So, not only did I wait a month and a half for a product that was supposed to ship at the beginning if February but they also had use of my money for over a month (yes, they pulled it out of my account immediately). If I could give no stars I would. Be very wary of ordering anything from this company. I got the runaround for weeks when I would attempt to check on this order. Consumers beware!

Bought some yarn and dye for my mother for her birthday. I don't much about this subject, but i contacted their customer service department and the explain everything to me. fast delivery and my mom was happy to add more yarn to her art supplies.

They are so easy to work with and so knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend!!!

Wish I had read the reviews before ordering. Ordered and paid on 8/22. Followed up on 9/5. To be fair, they responded quickly, but with a tracking number that the USPS has no information on. Not shipped yet? Wonder when it will...

I've been ordering fiber from PF for over a decade. I have not once had a problem with my orders. When I have had questions about different fibers, the store staff has investigated different types of fiber -- often with me on the phone -- and provided excellent advice. They have been very generous with answering questions about spinning wheels. And a problem with the fiber of the month club registration was addressed and fixed within 24 hours. It was a technical problem.

I hope PF has a long-term business plan to keep us fiber enthusiasts supplied with fiber and tools for many years to come.

I've always had customer service that goes above and beyond here. If they make a mistake, they don't haggle with me about it, they resolve it quickly, politely, and, quite frankly, better than any other customer service rep I've spoken to (bar none! and I've spoken to *many* good reps). For example: I placed an order on 8/8, I received the wrong yarn today (8/10). I contacted them over chat, the customer service rep immediately apologized, and shipped out my correct order today via priority mail.

They are a great shop to do business with. They are the only ones who carry the interchangeable needles and accessories that I like. Their shipping is fast and the cost is reasonable. I have a friend who lives in Spokane and I will include a trip to Paradise Fibers when I visit.

I first found Paradise Fibers about a year and a half ago when I was looking for affordable fiber and a drop spindle to see if spinning was something I wanted to pursue. 3 months later I bough my wheel from them. Over the last year I've bought knitting needles, fiber, yarn, and various other things. I'm always impressed with their prices and selection, but the best thing is their shipping. I live on the east coast and it generally takes 2-3 days to get my order, which is just amazing to me.

Not many companies out there will go the extra mile to help the customer have a good shopping experience, but Paradise Fibers does! They seem to try harder than anyone else out there and that means a lot to me. Thank you, Paradise Fibers! Thank you for being among the best for a source of yarn, knitting and spinning tools and supplies, and all things fiber!!!

This was the 5th order since summer that I have had problems with. I had to contact customer service 5 days after placing the order to see when it would be shipped even though the website said it was in stock & my account was charged the day I ordered. Never received the promised email with tracking info. Why do I have to contact customer service to initiate packing & shipping of my order? I shouldn't have to. 5 messed up orders since summer is 4 too many. This was my last order from Paradise.

I've been to so many LYS, looking for the right colors, the right weights, the right needles and hooks, and the right wool and spinning wheels. I'm a home body, and LYS are few and far between, and they don't always have exactly what you're looking for. What was I thinking going to these places? I'm all for small business, but everything seems to be the same.

Paradise Fibers is amazing in this sense. They have everything I want, at good prices, and great shipping rates. I live at the base of the Cascades, on the western side of Washington. Paradise Fibers is located in Spokane, WA, near the eastern state border. However, I did not expect that my items (spinning wheel, fiber, and yarn) would arrive almost exactly 24 hours after I placed my order. These guys know how to hustle. I've found my forever store!!

i placed my order on a Monday. My sister in law placed her order an hour after me. We live in Colorado. We wanted to try an experiment because of all the Nasty things we've read lately about PF. We've been shopping through Paradise Fibers for years now and have noticed a change in management, only to find out later that PF has received an entire face lift!!! This time we purchased some yarn, fiber, and needles. a few of each. After we placed our order we called and spoke with (NAME) personally after only a minute wait. I asked her if she received my order and told her how happy i was to get my goodies in the mail! She was professional, polite, and a joy to speak with on the phone! she told me that the order i placed was received and is in the "picking" status and that it would be shipped out no later than the day i placed it! TWO days later i received my package! WOW! The product i ordered was carefully wrapped and packaged wonderfully! There was even a note inside my fiber bag, Thanking me for my order and complimenting me on my choice in colors! The new employees at paradise fibers are diamonds in the rough, I've had a pleasure of speaking to many of them! These people are picking up the pieces of a metaphorical BOMB explosion left by the previous "managers" and the employees that no longer cared! I hope these wonderful human beings can look past all the hateful comments being directed at them for trying their best and continue to be a light in this dark world! I WILL continue to shop at PF, i even signed up for fiber club today!! Needless to say my sister in law received her order the same day!! Try it out for yourself and make your own decisions but i believe this company is doing their best to remain such a huge presence in the yarn world. On March 2, 2015 I placed an order for 11 skeins of Katia Belice yarn. I had found a pattern for a beautiful afghan made with that yarn. I had not received yarn by March 12, 2015. I called paradise Yarns on March 12 and was told ( after the employee informed me that they kept that yarn in the basement and would call me back) that they only had 6 skeins of the yarn and that I could wait for them to order more or they could send what they had and they would send the rest when it came in. I found this was very poor business practice. I think that Paradise Yarns should have notified me that the yarn to fill my order was not available, instead of me waiting 10 days and then I had to be the one to make call to check on order. Now I will wait and see if the 98.00 dollars is credited to my account. Very poor business practice. I would give less than one star if half a star was available.

LIke most of the other reviews, I am not getting my order nor is anyone bothering to respond to my email inquires.
Order placed on 2-28-2015, still not shipped as of 3-4-2015.
Told them to cancel my order then place an order for the same thing with another company who already have shipped it. I"m within a days drive of these folks and I could have drive up there and back several times while I was waiting for them to ship a single small pot of dye. I'm disgusted by my first visit and order with Paradise Fibers and won't use them again. Additionally, this review will also go up on my textile blog as a warning for others. You're better off using (NAME) in North Carolina. Even though it's 2,000 miles further away, I'll get my order sooner.

This used to be the place to shop for quick and efficient shipping. Any problems would be dealt with promptly. Not true now. I placed an order in early Feb. When it didn't arrive in a week and no emails I sent an email requesting status. It was ignored. A couple of days later I called and left a message. No return phone call. I repeated this ritual three more times untii someone finally picked up the phone on the 23rd. I was told part (no specifics just part)of my order was back ordered and I requested that the remainder of the order to ship out asap. If they had shipped it the next day it would have arrived by the 27th. On the 27th I get an email saying my order is back ordered and would be TWENTY 20 days before they would ship. There was no mention of the phone call. They finally shipped out my partial order (one ball back ordered) on Monday. I'm sorry but this is beyond unacceptable customer service. Pick up your phones, answer emails and return voice mails and then follow through. I am sad to say I am now hunting for a new source for my favorite yarns. If there is any other way I will not be doing business with this company again.

What terrible customer service!
I placed an order in early February 2015. I had to write to Paradise Fibers to get a tracking number because they didn’t bother to send me one. Then, for some strange reason – and this was not Paradise Fiber’s fault –, my order wound up in Israel (I live in Canada). After a few fruitless exchanges with a customer service representative, I decided to call her. She sounds very nice over the phone. She’ll call you sweetie and what not and make many wonderful promises… which she won’t fulfil. I called again, but to no avail. I’ve read on Paradise Fiber’s Facebook page that this seems to be a recurring situation.
I strongly recommend not doing business with this company. If you have placed an order and are experiencing the same kind of problems I have, do like I did: save all emails and other exchanges and have your credit card company or Paypal reverse the charges. Good luck! I
