Worst customer service. No sense of accountability, parang nagtatanga-tangahan mga phone, chat and email agents. Ang bilis magdeduct ng pera. Pag hiningan mo ng proof anong basis nila sa pagdeduct nagpapasahan na. Walang SLA - “from time to time” lang sasabihin sayo. I really regret creating an account with Maya.

I hope BSP or whoever governs them punishes them for this.

I transferred money from my other bank to PayMaya or Maya, but the money wasn't credited to my account. This happened twice, and when I reported it, nothing happened. This seems to be their usual practice. PayMaya or Maya is a thief. Don't trust your money with PayMaya or Maya!

Nag transfer ako ng pero galing sa bank ko at di pumasok. Dalawang beses itong nangyari sakin at kahit nireport ko wala silang ginawa. MODUS NILA ANG MAG NAKAW NG PERA. Marami na silang ginawan ng ganito so WAG NIYO PAGKATIWALAAN ANG PAYMAYA OR MAYA.

Question lang mga boss, nagkaron ako ng offer kay maya credit worth 3k last october 2023. To cut it short, Yung due date ko na nilagay is every 2nd of the month. So everything is good and never ako ngkaron ng missed payments from the first month of payment till december. Then itong january 2nd, hindi ako nakapagbayad bukod sa consumed ko lahat yung total of 3k, wala rin akong naibayad for full payment since pa nung mag due date sya ng jan 2, 2024. But between january 2 to 27, may lima ata or anim akong ginawang small and partial amount of payments na umabot ng almost 900 pesos. So i've been doing it kahit overdue sya just to let them know that even ive missed my monthly payment, ginagawa kong magbayad ng partially kahit alam kong it wont do any good. But initially, the reason why i did small amount of payments during the time it was in over due, is para pg dumating yung pambayad ko in full atleast nabawasan ko kahit papano yung 3k credit plus penalties and interests na nagoccur simula nung jan 2 onwards. Then on feb 1, 2024, i was able to make the payment. Dahil sa partial payments n nagawa ko, yung ₱3,300 overall payments is naging ₱2,200 yung total balance na sinettle ko. So, it shows that i have made it settled bago mag feb 2, kasi kung feb 2 ko pa nabayaran, lalabas is 2 monthly payments nakong unsettled.. ngayon after all the hardship na ginawa kong pagaabiso s email for reasins kung bakit ako di nakabayad at after kong ipakita somehow na kahit wala akong pang full payment eh nagagawa kong magbayad partially then after ko magawang bayaran in total before the next due date, lahat eh parang napunta lang sa wala ang binayaran ko. I was expecting that after i made that total payment on feb 1, 2024 , marerefresh si maya credit ko like it normally does once payments has been settled, but it didnt happen. My maya credit has been refreshed and the ₱3k credit has been displayed again sa acct ko pero when i try take out any amount from that ₱3k available, it is not going tru and i am being notified that i wont be able to use the credit because my maya credit was put on hold and get locked temporarily and it says that my account was being reviewed. Obviously, it gets locked out due to the overdue and late payments ive done but from what payments, efforts, dedications i have showed in not letting the account reoccur another missed payments, inilock nlng agad nila acct ko ng ganun lang?? As in from the moment my paymemt was done, hindi ko na maaccess ung 3k na available credit ko. So kung alam ko lang di nako nheffort magbayad partially at hindi narin sana ako ngbayad ng full kung after ko palang gawin yun eh himdi ko mapapakinabanagan ang binayaran ko.. i was worried if when do this review process last. Kasi alamost a month na nakalock ang maya credit ko even nakikita ko nman sa acct ko na available n ulit ang 3k ko but wasnt able to be transferred and uzed due to my acct is being reviewed.. so if ever pala pde ring nagbayad lang ako, then di na nila ioopen yun dahil lang sa isang beses kong hindi nabayaran?? Unfair

All of their promos don’t work. They just use them to attract customer. I pay my bills for the first time and hoping yo get a cashback of php500 as written on their promo but until now I didn’t get anything.

I emailed their customer support, they responded and ask for my details and screenshot of the payment on bill. After that, i didn’t get any response. I followed up 3 times but they are not responding on my emails anymore.

They had promotion with free physical card. But it is not free at all. You need to pay for it first, and then it will take so long that in the meantime I had to change my registered number. And then they say I not get the refund because I changed the number. DUH.... very bad company.
And then they have Maya savings for 3.5% interest, but when you do buy load for at least 250 peso you get 1% bonus. I never got this bonus, if you complaint they say it is not their problem, I need to contact another company, but those a*holes never reply.
My advise, never do business with them and I hope they get bankrupt. Unreliable companies, bunch of cowboys.

Went to a government website and had to make a payment. Wanted to make the payment via credit card and the card payment system through that gov site was through PayMaya. Tried FIVE different credit cards from different banks and countries and the platform could process NONE! Checkout page after payment details would just time-out. Most USELESS payment system I've seen. It's a SHAME government payments rely in such a mediocre service.

I transferred 7k from my bank to maya yesterday at 930 am. Amount debited real time but my 7k just vanished. Lesson learned. Called cs and was told to wait up to 3 banking days. How is this even legit?...

I made a bank transfer from my Paymaya app yesterday on November 30, 2023, 4985 PHP to my bank Security Bank, the money was debited from my Pay Maya balance and I also got a receipt that it was transferred with instapay, direct transfer with fees. Unfortunately, the money has not yet been credited to my account. Thieves!
I contacted my online bank and was told that unfortunately no payment had been received.
After a long search, I then called the customer hotline, which I was able to reach after 30 minutes, where I was asked a lot of questions about the verification of my Paymaya account, many unnecessary questions. In the End, they saw my transfer and told me I would have to wait up to 3 banking days, but I shouldn't worry because the money is safe. Great what a nonsense, you pay a fee for direct transfer and then these thieves just keep your money and tell you without explaining it to you that for some technical reason I should now wait 3 bank days until it is finally booked, Wow with millions of customers nice money for daily accounts!!!! That is criminal.
Unfortunately, it is not so easy to bring these criminal methods to court in the Philippines, as there are certainly larger organizations behind these criminal methods that are enriching themselves in this way.
I can only say stay away from PayMaya and use Gcash instead, as it is much safer. Now 3 days had passed.

Paymaya is a criminal organization for me.

Even if I get my money back, they can't pay for the damage they have done to me. I already know these cheap excuses they would use.
I wonder if i will get a compensation, if they are a serious Company which shows they are not they would compensate me for their i call it theft.

Very bad customer service I have only one complaint delete my account I send them email 30 messages but I only got we.will back to you jn 48 hours

I hate writing negative reviews, and in fact, this may be my first, but I have got to say something! I agree with a lot of people on here already and that is:

PAYMAYA HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN!! BY FAR!!!

I needed one simple thing done. My phone number changed so I needed to change the number registered to my account. So simple right?! Should be, but you would be WRONG for these guys!!

I have been trying to get this done for over 3 months and probably 50 emails messages. I do everything they tell me, I submit my passport and the appropriate form(s) and then...

1) They just STOP RESPONDING altogether!!

-OR-

2) They come up with an additional task (like take a picture holding your passport), which I do! Or give me a ridiculous reason why they can't help me... THEN THEY STOP RESPONDING ALTOGETHER!!

I mean COME ON?! To me, the customer, it feels like their goal is to do whatever is in their power to NOT HELP you!!! Honestly, it feels like they don't care about their customers.

I've created so many tickets, I know they are going to ask for a previous case number so I purposely let them know my case number right away... and they STILL ASK FOR MY CASE NUMBER! Like they didn't even bother to read the email! It's in BOLD, Large font, Highlighted in the middle of the email… you can't miss it! I mean, it's insane!

I am not exaggerating when I say again, this is the WORST Customer Service I have ever received in my entire life!! I wish I could show you a screen shot of all the emails for this one little simple issue to still not get resolved!

I am a Paymaya user for over a year now and overall? It's not that bad. Surely, they are top 2 in the finance category (Free, obviously) I've been making transactions with them from the smallest amounts to the 1k range and sometimes they do stutter due to server issues and stuff but one or two refreshes like closing the app's task, you can easily log in without further problems.

Ofcourse, this review won't be all-angelic for the app. Syempre may downside din. Sometimes the other tabs can't be accessed, even the crypto tab has problems. I'm not that fan naman sa crypto so okay lang and also the Maya support system sometimes has issues regarding with agents and di naman tayo magtitiwala lang sa AI kaya sa CSR talaga tayo lumalapit and even redirecting to them is sometimes a hassle. (Ewan ko nalang kung wala kang pasensya)

The UI is very friendly, the app's stylistic looks make it more beautiful but yeah, we all look for performance more than elegance so I hope they do a better job in helping users with their problems via agent inquiries and such.

OR ANYTHING WITH SIMILAR SPELLING.I HAVE TODAY CALLED AND TUMAGAL CALL FOR ALMOST 1 HR YET WALA SYANG NABIGAY NA RESOLUTION AND FINORWARD NYA LANG YUNG CALL SA SUPERVISOR THEN WALA SUMAGOT THEN THE CALL HAS DROPPED. NAPAKA BASTOS. PURO WAIT LNG SINABI NYA, NAKA 7 ON HOLD PA SYA.
I HAVE UNAURTHORIZED TRANSACTION WORTH 1K+ FORM JUNE 29 PA UNTIL NOW REFUND HAS NOT BEEN CREDITED ON MY ACCOUNT!!!! TRAIN YOUR CS PROPERLY TO PROVIDE EFFICIENT SERVICE. SUCH A WASTE OF TIME FOR ME NOT HELPFUL.

PayMaya was a worst and dis satisfied ever , everytime im using this apps , couldnt used and wondering they dont even care the problem i am sending to them, messed up and disappointed , dont ever used paymaya this is very much worst rather than gcash but both them are equal disappointed , 😡👎😳😡👎😳😡👎👎
