Your complaint was upheld and resulted in redress from Capital One. As explained in our onboarding documents and agreement, lenders sometimes apply refunds directly to any outstanding balance rather than issuing a cash payment. This is known as an offset and reduces the overall debt owed.
Our fee is calculated on the total redress achieved, whether paid to you or applied to your balance, in line with the signed agreement.
We are happy to provide a clear breakdown of the figures if you contact us directly.

Reasonable communication, process very simple, did what they said on the website. % is quite high in terms of payment, but it's high for convivence and if you're willing to swallow the fee, the outcome is good.

If a lender has closed a case in error or prematurely, we routinely challenge that decision and seek reinstatement.

TMS legal has been absolutely amazing
TMS legal has been absolutely amazing. On a few occasions now they have managed to win my cases.
Today I have received £3600 into my account after a credit company charged me extremely high interest. I cannot believe how much I was owed and that TMS won!
