Peak Pharmacy was founded in 1981 and is based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.
It has grown via merger and acquisition from a single pharmacy into the business it is today, consisting of over 150 pharmacies and an online pharmacy.
In 2023 we moved to our new purpose-built facility, in Bolsover, housing both our head office and warehouse. The warehouse uses state-of-the-art automation technology and machinery for medicine packing and distribution.

Not good, long waits and meds never ready.
Peak Pharmacy in general may be ok but the Banbury branch is often awful with long queues and medication never being ready.
I had a doctors appt this week and she said the medication would be ready on the same day to collect as I had just had a consultation with her. I left it a few days to give the pharmacy time to get it ready. When I eventually go there is a queue about 10-12 people and at least 5 more sitting down waiting. Only one girl is on the tills. When it’s my turn after a long wait the medication isnt even ready. Then I find out they only have one pack on the shelf! If my prescription was put through 4 days ago they should have ordered more medication in so that this could be fulfilled. Now I am sitting waiting for the one box to be dispensed and then I will have to come back and go through the whole sorry routine again. Already been waiting 25 minutes and no sign of my medication. Why only have one person when it’s so busy? It’s so stupid. I’ve got things to do and can’t sit here all day. I’m changing pharmacies because this happens all the time. Terrible pharmacy. The only reason I’m here is because it’s attached to my surgery but I’d rather go further afield or out of my way for better service.

Open 7 mins late rude staff
Open 7 mins late, no apology to anyone waiting outside. They proceeded to inform us they cannot serve anyone until staff arrive. 2 members of staff arrived at 8:45 and they proceeded to not serve anyone, not make eye contact with anyone or communicate with us at all.
They started serving at 8:50 but for pick up prescription only - I was attempting to hand in a prescription. I was finally served at 8:55 when I was rudely informed I was waiting in the wrong queue, I explained that another colleague had stated ahead could only do prescriptions pick up only and I was dropping off a new one.
They both denied that had been said, even though other customers agreed with me.

I attend the peak pharmacy in…stonebroom
I attend the peak pharmacy in stonebroom, all the staff are very helpful but the main pharmacy lady is extremely helpful and will listen and offer advice where needed. I have been to other pharmacy’s which aren’t very helpful or friendly would recommend.
