I have been trying to get in contact with the business for the last few days to discuss an emergency situation that is making my rental property unliveable and have had no responses to my emails, calls and voicemails which is incredibly alarming and distressing!
I have carried out an investigation on this business and can see that there's no current listings for rentals or properties for sale since Feb 2024, theres no new ads or content on their social media channels which leads me to believe that they have gone out of business recently or has been taken over by people who are not capaple of running the business efectively. I also recently called the solicitors next door and I could tell by her tone that they are now frustrated with the calls coming in for the estate agents tenants.
My biggest concern is not only my present living situation but that the funds I have paid in rent are no longer reaching my landlord which may lead to an unfair eviction and my clean record tarnished should I wish to rent another property.
If the people currently running the business see this PLEASE CONTACT ME and run your business correctly!

Update: managed to get in contact with my landlord to ask if the funds have been getting to them and they confirmed my rent has been late every month since May 2024 and that on the rare occasions that the estate agents respond to chaser emails they have blamed me for paying late. Luckily my landlord didn’t believe that as I have paid my rent on time every month for the last 3 years.
This business is a mess for both landlords and tenants! Just quit and sell now as the business is ruined by this pathetic mismanagement

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Pennine Kennedy Estate Agents. Despite numerous attempts to contact them via phone and email since July 7th, they have not returned my deposit. Their lack of communication and responsiveness is highly unprofessional and frustrating. I expected better service and accountability from a reputed estate agent. I hope this review prompts them to address my issue promptly.

We went to Kathryn Congdon on the recommendation of Watersons Estate Agents and we were not disappointed.
We live overseas which can complicate things but the process followed Shah and Kathryn made the things very simple and easy. They were persistent in moving thing along and closing the sale.

What a great experience!! Not the sale itself which was a nightmare but the service I received from Pennine Kennedy was amazing. Sympathetic and professional during an extremely tense time I cannot recommend them Highly enough.m especially Noman and Zakkia who made the difference between it being a nightmare start to finish and also the difference between losing £42,000 and not.
