Concerning Lack of Communication and Delayed Payout - BUT eventually resolved
I am disappointed with my experience so far with People's Fundraising.
Over the past 3-4 days, I have sent multiple emails and left several messages requesting assistance, but I have not received a response from anyone. My primary concern is that a payout on the platform is showing as "paid out", yet the funds have still not arrived in my bank account.
As a fundraiser, this is understandably worrying. Parents and supporters are continuing to make donations, but at the moment I have no way of getting clarity on where the funds are, when they will arrive, or how to resolve the issue. The lack of communication has been the most frustrating part of the experience.
I appreciate that there may be a legitimate reason for the delay, and I remain hopeful that someone will respond and help resolve the matter. However, when money is involved, timely communication is essential, and unfortunately that has not been my experience.
Based on my current experience, I would encourage anyone considering using the platform to first ensure they can establish contact with the support team and understand the payout process before relying on it for fundraising activities.
I sincerely hope People's Fundraising responds soon and that this issue can be resolved quickly.

Eventually, I have just now received a brief email saying I need to 'upload information about the charity' which i have now done. It is now being verified... lets see how long verification takes? I will update my review accordingly... moved to 1.5 stars if i could.
**Update – 12 June 2026
Following my original review, I wanted to provide an update. After eventually making contact with People's Fundraising, I was informed that additional charity verification was required due to changes in their verification process. I submitted the requested information on 5 June, received confirmation that the charity had been verified a few days later, and the funds were successfully paid into our account on 10 June.
I also had the opportunity to speak with Nathan, who was helpful in explaining the situation and assisting with the process. As a result, I am updating my rating to 4 stars.
My original concern remains the lack of communication during the first few days, as having donations coming in while being unable to confirm where the funds were or when they would arrive was understandably stressful. However, now that everything has been verified and the payout process is working correctly, I am happy to continue using the platform.
For anyone new to People's Fundraising, I would recommend completing all verification requirements as early as possible and perhaps testing the process with a small initial fundraising campaign so that you are comfortable with how payouts work before larger sums are involved.
Overall, while the start was frustrating, the issue has now been resolved and I am a satisfied customer.
