This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever faced.
From the very beginning, the handling of my project was completely chaotic. I was assigned a representative (Meena) who initially committed that the material would be delivered on a specific date, work would start immediately after, and the project would be closed by the 9th, or at the latest, the 10th. These commitments were clearly communicated and acknowledged.
After this, everything went downhill.
I was informed later that Meena was unwilling to take calls or take responsibility for the project. Repeated calls from my end went unanswered, and there was not even the basic courtesy of a callback. When I raised this issue with her earlier the same day, she assured me that she would call back — which never happened even till 9 PM.
To make matters worse, I was then informed that the material delivery promised for the next day was also being delayed — completely contradicting what was committed earlier. This shows absolute mismanagement, false assurances, and zero accountability.
I remained polite and patient throughout, hoping for professionalism, but this was clearly taken for granted. The lack of communication, broken promises, and casual attitude toward customer commitments are shocking for a brand like Pepperfry. If this is how employees operate, it seriously damages the company’s credibility and reputation.
This is not just a delay — it is a complete failure in customer handling, ownership, and service ethics.
I am now forced to escalate and take formal action because this kind of behavior cannot be ignored. I strongly advise anyone considering Pepperfry to think twice, unless you are prepared to deal with unanswered calls, false commitments, and complete irresponsibility.

No customer care
Same as others experience, bad customer care. Bought a wardrobe 4-5years back, requested help to dismantle. Totally refused, not even on payment they agreed to send their carpenter to dismantle the wardrobe. It is as they know once dismantled the product is flimsy, the pieces will become unusable. Engineer Wooden furniture is not recommendable from this site. May buy recliner or other stuff. But

Worst experience. Sofa looks fine from outside, but the cushions are made with very cheap scrap , not used cotton. They are charging premium prices but delivering low-quality filling. Completely misleading and not worth the money.

This was my first experience buying furniture online so we were little concerned but Pepprfry didn't disappointed us. I brought a storage queen size bed. The bed arrived on time without any damage. Their assistant buying team helped selecting right product for me with best offers available and customer support was also helpful on arranging the delivery and installation. Nightmare working with PEPPERFRY

Over the past 3 months, my experience with this interior design company has been extremely distressing and disappointing.
From the very beginning, I was shown designs and given commitments that were never delivered. What was promised on paper and verbally has no resemblance to what was actually executed on site. The materials and workmanship used are far below what was agreed, clearly indicating cost-cutting and misrepresentation.
The team’s conduct has been highly unprofessional—no ownership, no accountability, and complete disregard for timelines and client concerns. Repeated follow-ups were met with assurances that were consistently broken.
Despite the work still being incomplete after three months, the company has already collected ₹19 lakhs. The financial loss, mental stress, and disruption caused to my family have been severe and unacceptable.
This entire engagement has been a nightmare, and I strongly regret placing my trust in this company.
I am still awaiting:
• A clear update on the actual status of work and a realistic completion timeline
• Justification for the amount collected so far
• Corrective action for poor quality work and deviations from approved designs
If this matter is not resolved immediately and transparently, I will have no option but to escalate it legally and through consumer forums and public platforms.
Posting this as a cautionary note for others.

Frustrating Experience with Dining Table Purchase and Warranty
- Purchased a 6-seater dining table.
- After 2 months, a manufacturing defect was detected.
- Claimed warranty; company agreed to replace as it was not repairable.
- Over the next 4 months, I made more than 20 calls and sent the same number of emails.
- After 4 months, they delivered a replacement product that was even more defective. I refused to accept it, and they took it back.
- Later, they asked me to send photos and videos of the defective product (which they had already taken back).
- I managed to send only 2 photos taken during installation.
- They closed my warranty request because the photos were sent after 2 days.
- I emailed again; they reopened the request but asked for the same photos once more.
- The cycle of calls and emails restarted, with no resolution.
Additional Issues:
- I received multiple calls during work hours, causing disturbance.
- I even had to take half-day leave from my workplace to receive a damaged product again.
Final Note:
Please don’t be misled by their colorful website, fake discounts, and false warranty promises.
This has been one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with.
