Called about a wasps nest. Charlie turned up (no ID or logo) armed with a broom. Looked and said they weren't wasps but ground bees which would cost an extra £50 and there was no guarantee it would work. I asked if ground bees were aggressive - he said yes. I asked if bees were protected - he said no. Something didn't feel right so I asked to leave it (to his credit - he didn't charge). Quick google showed ground bees are not aggressive and rarely sting. We had our estate agent send their guy and he quickly said they are actually wasps and that you're not supposed to get rid of bees anyway as they are protected. Feel like this guy was trying to scam us. Either he lied or really doesn't know much about pests!

This company did not cure our problem, offered no guarantee & was in & out in 20 minutes, it cost £108, sorry but I would not recommend them to anybody, our problem persist's & we now have got a local company involved with a focus on customer service not a quick profit, please also note that all the local phone numbers on the net doesn't mean its a local company.

I was mortified (and terrified) to discover I had rats in the Outbuilding.
James Roberts attended and he was excellent. He helped sort the problem out and didn't make me feel like an idiot for freaking out (!) I used the same company to clean the place out afterwards and James transformed the place so it was immaculate...no sign of the damage left by the rats anywhere and the hole blocked off.
He did a great job all round and I would definitely recommend.

Within 3 hours of the initial call, my bee problem was sorted. Paul was friendly, efficient and professional.

Today Paul from pestcontrol.co.uk attended in record time at the home of my stepsister who was found deceased yesterday. The house was in a state and needed fumigation before we could enter safely to recover documents etc. Paul was sympathetic and efficient to the delicacy of the situation. A first class service which I give my highest endorsement.

After a week of scuffling, banging and noises you really don't want to be hearing in your house, and undertaking some investigations ourselves and getting nowhere, we called in our local branch. The gentleman was out next day. He undertook a full survey in the loft and located the problem at the bottom of the chimney.. A pigeon had fallen in and got stuck.

He performed a rescue operation with minimal (but necessary damage) to the old brick work blocking the fire place. He was professional and dealt with the problem well within an hour. I would highly recommend this Company, they have restored my tattered nerves and given me peace of mind without breaking the bank!! The total cost of the works was £90. Very satisfied customer :)

For the first night this week I might be able to get some decent sleep without hearing what's going to go bump in the night!

Calm knowledgeable approach to our carpet moth problem. Liam was so friendly and supportive. He offered great advice and guidance beforehand, so that we could prepare adequately. The day of treatment was quick, efficient and professional, my home was shown great respect. I was very impressed and would have no hesitation in recommending PestControl.

Great service. Efficient. Friendly. Effective. Cleared up a bug problem in bedroom coming from a build up of birds nests in roof. Knowledgeable and sorted it out with minimum of fuss. Popped by a couple of months later as was passing by to check all still ok and provided a secondary treatment free of charge. Very impressive service.

Had a mouse problem, Liam came and had a look. Just put down bait in area's mentioned. Said it may take 2/3 visits to remove the problem. Check bait after two week, non eaten. Contacted Liam again, said it would cost another £90 to visit. This could have gone on forever as no guarantee given to get rid of them.Not told what bait had been put down or antidote should something happen. Contacted another company who came and put bait boxes everywhere, i.e. kitchen, lounge, loft extension, boiler cupboard and the main loft. Also left name of bait and antidote. Not a happy customer and will not recommend to others.

I had 2 visits initially from JG Pest Control to ascertain that they apparently needed cherry picker to reach a wasp nest in our chimney breast. Quoted £650+VAT. One call to David at PestControl.co.uk and the wasp nest was easily treated using a ladder and an extended spray nozzle for £100+VAT. Great guy, superior expertise and professionalism and a great service delivered. Highly recommend.

I had a bug problem from a chair I bought which rapidly infected 3 rooms of my house! I was at my wits end with bites and worry. He sprayed my house, took my frantic calls and was brilliant. He re arranged his schedule to spray again and I am soo grateful. I really recommend this firm if you have an infestation etc.
