This course was really helpful in that I was able to get into the right mindset and with the most useful information possible to pass my PTCE, now this is my own personal experience but it was the best way for me to get to passing, thank you for Dr. Emmel and the course.

I spent a bit of time researching different available pharmacy technician courses before settling on this one. I am very thankful I chose to go with the Pharmacy Technician Scholar course because it presented all of the information in a very accessible format, and the lectures were never too long. The website layout is one aspect I really liked, and the progress bar always kept me motivated. The lectures were all very informative, and I liked how the material was not just read directly from a PowerPoint slide. Overall, this course has provided a fantastic experience in preparing me to take the PTCE, and I would recommend it to others looking for a pharmacy technician course.

I was initially hesitant to enroll in a fully online PTCE preparation class, but this course from Pharmacy Tech Scholar has made me a convert! The lecture presentations are straightforward and i appreciated the 'helpful hints' on memorizing certain bits of information. It's easy to watch the lectures and then go back through the slide deck to take notes at your own pace. The supplemental readings are on-target and were helpful in reinforcing information presented in the lectures. The course also has flash cards for most chapters, so you can quiz yourself before taking the chapter exams, as well as a YouTube channel for extra math practice! The instructor was always available through the messaging system and responded in a timely manner, so i never felt 'alone' when taking this course. I do wish there were more 'activities' associated with the chapters on medications, as it's a significant volume of information that needs to be memorized, and i found that the activities that were offered to be super-beneficial in memorization. With careful notetaking and good study habits, anyone taking this course will be in an excellent position to pass the PTCE on the first try!

The course highlights in each chapter exams played a vital role in bringing back to memory the lessons drawn from each chapter in the book and supported by the videos which prove to be an inspiration for success. The most challenging part I went through was the relation of the drug names with their generic counterparts and their use. Hopefully everyone should be able to pass if extra effort is employed towards thorough study and detailed look at the exams in each chapter.

My experience with Pharmacy Scholar has been great! It's everything like being in a classroom, I'm doing the work in my field already, and its great education. Dr. Emmel is great at what he does, his teaching is phenomenal. Highly Recommend for career path.

I'd like to say my experience with this class so far with Dr.Emmel, is incredible, learning a lot about becoming a pharmacy technician, I highly recommend taking the class it provides you with a wealth of knowledge, to get you ready to take the exam, I'm half way through and i am enjoying the class very much. Honest Doctor, I needed to get a refund because my state(VA) did not accept online courses and Dr. Emmel helped and was understanding of my situation.

This course was summarized to include the important information needed to take PTCE exam. Everything was easy to follow.

What made my experience great was the flexibility and easy navigational system. Everything was straight forward and I retained a lot of information. I definitely recommend this course to other Pharmacy Technicians!

This has been a great way to prepare for my certification. I'm able to go at my own pace, studying around my work schedule, and take my time without feeling rushed. The site is well-structured, with each module focusing on core aspects of what I need to know. A few of the sections provide too much information at once; but the majority of them are just the right length to not leave me feeling overwhelmed. I highly recommend Pharmacy Tech Scholar!

I haven't finished yet but being able to login from anywhere is beyond helpful. The videos are clear and easy to understand. The "games" they have for the different modules are very helpful to help you remember key terms as well.

I think it's a good program. Just wish there were some adjustments to it. For example the note pad we can use should have an option to (x) out of it because it's annoying that it's in the way.
The top section that you can minimize or maximize the screen. The area where it has a Sun shine/moon symbol is really in the way of the reading and it's actually should be an option to make it disappear because it takes up reading space.

When reading the lessons the side bar to scroll up and down is way too dark. Also the section to make it PDF is hardly visible to see, it's definitely not designed for those with hard of seeing.

Needs more work in the design of the website. I don't think the format of it is the best.

However the program is good.

As someone with not much prior pharmacy experience or knowledge at all, I couldn’t recommend this course enough! The material is very organized and written in a way which makes learning fairly easy and even fun. Dr. Emmel is an amazing instructor and definitely passionate about both pharmacy and teaching it. Any questions are always answered in a timely manner, and there is no shortage of communication or support if needed. The virtual classrooms as well as the several resources provided are also a huge plus. Overall, I really enjoyed the course and definitely feel set up for success!
