Great hosting by Jack which helped make a good night even better. Wines were really nice and got carried away when selecting which ones to buy.
Really good fun event and would recommend to anyone who likes wine

Great selection of wine and a very friendly host. Opened my eyes to all sorts of wines I had never tried before. Fantastic evening!

We had a fantastic evening with Al, tasting a variety of wines.
Al was very knowledgeable, and made the tasting a really fun experience.
The wines were all really lovely, and Al quickly picked up on what each person would like. He also recommended food pairings to have with the wines on the night which added a great touch.
There was no pressure at all to purchase at the end of the night, and didn’t feel like a sales pitch - just a great fun evening!
Thanks again to Al, I’d highly recommend and will definitely be arranging another night in a few months time.

Wasn't sure what to expect but what a fab evening. Angelo, our presenter, was knowledgeable, interesting and no hard sale what so ever! A perfect enjoyable evening.

We booked a wine tasting evening for December 2018 but had to change it to January 2019 and had no problem at all doing this. The guy who came round was called Derek Brimble and he was great. He had very good knowledge about the different wines and brought a good selection for us to try.. with no pressure at all to buy.
These wines are of a high quality.and do cost more than a bottle from the supermarket, but you can taste the difference. We have now been buying Pieroth Wines for a year and will continue to do so.
What we really enjoy is Derek coming round to our home for us to.try the new wines before we buy..Also if we open a bottle and its not as nice as we remember, they collect the opened bottle (aswell as any other full.ones the same) and change them.for you, or will give you a refund.. with no quibble whatsoever.
As repeat customers you do get looked after too with complimentary gifts. You're not just paying for wine,.your paying for the whole service. Our advice would be, if you have a poor experience we would urge you to call Pieroth direct and give them feedback as they do.listen to you.
We would definitely recommend Pieroth Wines.. So if you're serious about good wine give them a try.

Pieroth Wines, and especially Kevin Cooper has been the reason for me enjoying many a relaxed hour of drinking good wine! Kevin is not only extremely passionate about the wines he sell and the company he represents , but he combines his passion with relevant and interesting knowledge of the product!

What I appreciate the most about Kevin is that he is honest and full of understanding. He will never pressure you into buying and he regards the human as more important than just the potential profit! Thank you Pieroth for producing excellent products and thank you Kevin for outstanding service!

We bought a voucher for the "Wine Tasting Experience". The positive part was the booking process; we were contacted within a couple of weeks and we were phoned a couple of times to confirm every thing was ok.
On the evening, it was made clear to us that the presenter had not come to give us a wine tasting experience but to earn commission. He actually said in his introduction that he hoped we would order some wine, as that was how he got paid!
The information he gave was interesting but our enjoyment was spoilt by his clear expectation of selling to us before we had even tasted the wine. It had been emphasised by the person who sold us the voucher and the person who made the booking that there was no obligation whatsoever to buy anything but this was clearly not the case.
We might well have bought a few bottles if he had carried any but it turned out we had to buy at least 12 bottles, that VAT was not included and that there was a £9.99 delivery charge. Sorry but all a bit too expensive when put together, as bottles started at £15.99 (without vat).
At the end, our presenter made it clear he was unhappy and considered it a waste of his time. He didn't say anything but his attitude said it all.
If it was made clear at the point of sale that this is intended to be a sales evening, we would not have bought it and would have saved the presenter his wasted trip.

What an amazing night, Alok was fantastic and we all thoroughly enjoyed the evening and learning about the wines! The wines were exceptional, can’t wait for mine to arrive!! Would definitely recommend this experience

First experience of a wine tasting for all 4 of us. Kevin was absolutely fantastic, really interesting, and kept us very well entertained for the evening, and maneged a 6 bottle sale to 2 couples who were convinced they'd spend nothing! Enjoyed every minute and would love to do it again, entirely down to Kevin!

Been buying wine from Pieroth for over 10 years and we love the choice of wine and the sweetness of their own brand. Its great to drink wine that is pure and doesn't make you feel poorly the next day. The company is even better thanks to our wine rep, Kevin J. Kevin always makes us feel comfortable and doesn't pressure us into buying which sales reps have the tendency to do. He's always been very professional, kind and learns from his customers, we woudnt want anyone else but Kevin as our rep!

Amazing setup with a brilliant host. The wines were exceptional, my friends and I absolutely loved the event.

I had a Pieroth wine tasting on Saturday 23rd November with Kevin Jewsbury, wow it was fantastic.
We sampled some great wines and Christmas liquors.
Kevin's knowledge of the wine was brilliant, he answered all of our questions and gave us a great insight into the Pieroth vineyards.
My friends and I really enjoyed the night, we laughed so much.
We will certainly be booking again soon.

We met Al at the good food show in Birmingham, he invited us to sit and taste some wines with him. He was absolutely fantastic, all 7 of us thoroughly enjoyed the wines and had such a lovely time. Al was great, he allowed us to thoroughly enjoy the experience and the wines were amazing. At no point did we feel pressured into purchasing the wines however we did just because we enjoyed them so much. We are looking forward to booking another wine tasting event this time at home and would highly recommend Al.

We had the pleasure of spending some time with Al at the BBC winter good food show on the 29th November 2019.He invited us to join him for a tasting session and my better half, my sister and brother in law and I accepted. He was very knowledgeable about all of the different wines, he was very attentive and patient with us. He didn't have a hard sell approach which kept us captivated for longer than I normally would. We all found the experience enjoyable informative and generally great fun. Al is a lovely man who is a credit to your organisation and he should be congratulated. 5 stars to him. 👍🏻

Colin was a great host and very knowledgable about all of wines we tried. We had a selection of whites (from sweet to dry), reds and then tried a port and chocolate liquor. Had some great facts about wine!
Such a lovely experience having a tasting in the comfort of your home - would highly recommend!

Had another lovely afternoon of wine tasting with Mary in Kirkwall Hotel, Orkney. She's incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about every wine, liqueur, port and ofcourse the splendid Blind Mary Gin (a must for any gin drinker) and also about our personal preferences. Every time we get together with Mary is guaranteed to be great fun, with the added bonus of fabulous wine tasting.

Great night with Lewis very informative and entertaining evening. He is passionate about the product and that really showed.

Our group hadn't experienced a wine tasting before and didn't really know what to expect. Al was very knowledgable and his recommendations of which foods to pair with the wines were spot on. Although the wine is pricey it is the best wine we've ever had.
