I have always had a great experience with the Mytilene branch of Piraeus. Maria Sarantou in particular was incredibly helpful and solved my problems quickly and effectively

Obsurd processes, Obsurd customer service. Stay away! The customer service line keeps hanging up on you and refuses connection with a reap person. I changed my card withdrawal limit, and I could not withdraw the said amount form any atm. Also, the bank charges intrabank fees, which is illegal! The latest law has abolished those fees.
Customer service of poor quality
Customer service, similar to other Banks in Greece such as Alpha & Ethniki, of poor quality. It is my perception, the customer is treated as second tier, definitely not with sincere ordinary & appropriate respect. They are indifferent and unprofessional, which leads them being rude after all. More or less this is my perception for the majority of the businesses, nowadays, in many countries such as Germany, the US, definitely not only in Greece. It is like an epidemic.

worst bank and worst experience ever. they been trying to send me a new card to replace my old one. they been trying for three months. THREE WHOLE MONTHS. they cannot send it to my home, to the correct address. this is just ridiculous. even more ridiculous is the fact they want to to charge me 6 euros for the new card replacement. it is not even my fault and they charge me for their incompetence. its not about the price, its about principles. i will try to get as far away from this bank as possible.
as for the customer service, it is probably the worst experience i have ever had in my life. it takes top spot alongside turkish airlines in this matter.
i can't stretch enough how bad this bank and its services are.

Piraeus Bank's recent makeover is undeniably impressive. The updated aesthetics have created a more modern and inviting atmosphere. However, while the physical transformation is undeniable, the underlying customer experience remains unchanged. The bank teller's lack of eye contact makes me feel ignored.
It's a reminder that while a fresh look can set the stage, it's the people and the service that truly define a business. Unfortunately, the same indifference and lack of concern that customers have long experienced continue to plague the bank's interactions.
True transformation requires a holistic approach, addressing both the physical environment and the cultural aspects of the organization. Until Piraeus Bank can align these two elements, the customer experience will remain stagnant.

Hanno l'incarico del pagamento di fatture di energia elettrica a Lefkada. Mi sono appoggiato alla sede di Lefkada. Non hanno eseguito i pagamenti ed ora ho problemi con la Dei che fornisce l'energia elettrica. Ho chiamato una persona che conosco e che lavora alla sede della pireaus bank di Lefkada e non ho ricevuto un aiuto. Io abito in Italia ed ho problemi a risolvere il problema che mi hanno creato. Appena posso cambierò banca. Se potevo dare voto 0 lo davo ma non si può. Con le banche italiane non mi è mai accaduto una cosa del genere ed in più il personale è più vicino al cliente.

I'd give it a zero but don't have the option. They lied to me about fees and charges twice. Once was on the phone... You would think the reason they record the phone conversations it for proof for both sides but if the bank is at fault, the recorded conversation is of no purpose. They used to be the best bank 20 years ago... Now they are the worst (and pathetically rudest) I have ever worked with. With the branch in Gyzi Alexandras topping them all... Deceiving and Pathetic.

If you need to make an appointment, available dates are after one month minimum. There are low number of ATMs because they want to reduce enterprise expenses. Avoid them at all costs!

Piraeus Bank in Aghios Nikolaus has the worst customer service I have experienced anywhere in the world in my 74 years on this planet! Nothing works, and what’s worse is the wait for nothing to work is endless and nobody ever offers even a hint of an apology! I wouldn’t have given it even one star if I could☹️!

1. Once there was an issue with some money lost from my account. They solved it ok, but took them almost 3 months.
2. I had to add some documents. I was there with my documents at hand and an employee was also there and without any other customers inside. And she said I needed to call for making an appointment.
3. Also, they offer very low interest return, at least compared to other banks in Greece.
High fees and red tape
Highest bank fees and commissions for individual customers. Good branch and ATM network throughout Greece but be prepared to queue for a long time and produce a big number of documents even for a simple transaction. As for my latter comment, if you don’t REALLY need to bank at a Greek bank, then DON’T.
ATM do not trust
Went to the atm for cash withdrawel. It just gave the card back but never provided the money. Will file a dispute via worldline/atos. Worst ATM experience ever… do not recommend.
Do not use them us Alpha
Do not use them. We opened a bank account easily with Alpha and thought we would have one with Piraeus too. They do not try to help, we took all the documents they say you need on the website and rang them to check and then When we got to our appointment weeks later in kalamata (no availability immediately) they said they wanted some other document which doesn’t exist in England. We explained their telephone operator says you don’t need it but they would not do it. Very rude person. We knew the reviews were bad for this bank and should not have wasted our time. Don’t use them go to Alpha bank instead, they are so nice and helpful.
most expensive fees in the world
Unacceptable charges for simple money transfers within financial institutions inside and outside Greece. On top they have increased exponentially the loan interest rates while they have kept the deposit rates at historical low levels. They are utilizing their oligopolistic power in Greece to adopt a predatory tactical approach against consumers who are not tech savvy and cannot escape their services.

My card got sucked in in one of their automats. I never even got to the point where I could say how many cash I wanted to have. The machine asked me to put my card in and then choose language, but I couldn’t choose so I tried to cancel and then it took my card. I tried calling the bank but they wasn’t very helpful. Said I had to Call my own bank and get my card blocked. I also advised them to remove the broken automat so no one Else would be in a similar situation, but they didn’t seem to want to react on it. I spole to one of the locals next door, and he told me that it had happened multiple times before. Totalt inacceptable that the machine is still standing.

Avoid this bank ATMs are designed to force you to take the banks exchange rate at a rate of 10% or over.
Depending on what you input you have no choice but to accept their rate which DOES NOT advise the 10% fee until you get the receipt.
Borderline FRAUD would be polite!
