Ordered a breakfast meal and waited at the collection point. No info on the screens there so just waited and watched the staff. I'm not sure if they market this place as fast food but the staff certainly didn't have the word 'fast' on their minds. Seemed like they were wading through glue as they moved so slowly.
I waited and watched as they served everyone but me and eventually asked what was going on with my meal as the screens were blank. They didn't seem to even know about my order and took the ticket off me to give to the kitchen staff to make the meal.

One of the staff eventually asked what I had ordered (very difficult to understand them not sure if English was their first language, but we got there in the end)

Finally got the food and sat down. The food was ok apart from it was basically cold. Couldn't be bothered to attempt a complaint with the language issues so just left.

So I have to leave the restaurant after 10 minutes argument nd still refuse to open toilet however because I was desperate for toilet. I had to show him my freedom pass also still refused!!! I ordered some chicken for my kids at popeyes in Bromley and paid £10.99 but the chicken wasn’t cooked properly and we were unable to eat the food . My 6 year old love Popeyes chicken and was very disappointed for the fact the his chicken where uncooked, I tried contacting Popeyes and sent the images of the order including the receipt and all they said are we are investigating the issue and nothing else, they’ve are in professional and no one has been in touch or said anything regarding my complaint. Never have experienced such disgusting behaviour from management. I went into the store on the 6th of December placed an order on the screen. The screen had a glitch and went off just as the order was processing the payment pings on the bank saying you’ve been taken. I went to the till and spoke to Lady, who then got the assistant manager he was very rude from the beginning wouldn’t let me speak or explain. He refused to do anything. He even raised his voice at my daughter when she asked a question. I don’t ask for another manager. I had to wait 20 minutes for somebody out the back to turn up who I believe wasn’t even a manager as he was wearing the uniform of the service. He spoke to me in a very aggressive manner told me I need to replace the order. I asked him to explain how it would work with the first payment. He then accuse me of not having any money in my account to say that that’s probably why it didn’t go through. I’ve since made a complaint to the head office and they don’t seem to be bothered. Please don’t eat here as the service is terrible.

We went to the Stoke branch 28th November and the customer service was shocking we got there at 9:30 and they refused to let us eat in even tho others had just gone and sat down we said we’d be gone for 9:50 as we knew they’d be closing at 10 the were arguing and telling us no regardless we sat down as they decided to give us eat in trays so then we were approached by 2 members of staff who was also sat down eating to tell us we can’t sit down even tho the lady who served us gave us trays to sit in with started to argue and state they shut at 10 and we said well if you leave us alone we will be out before then. One of the most rudest places we have experienced and won’t be visiting again!
Bad customer service. Trying to serve food Poisoning
Advertised as being crispy chicken, not the chicken burger we got. Ordered a box meal with a crispy chicken burger but when I took a bite it was full of liquid and undercooked. It didn’t taste good at all. Spoke to the staff and the server took it away on a napkin to the kitchen. Not sure what she was doing I was shocked when she just returned with it still in the napkin saying she spoke to the manager in the kitchen and he said it was just grease! Giving it back to me like I was just going to keep eating it.
I was appalled! The burger got thrown away and we left. I emailed the customer service on the night to complain. The customer service requested photos and proof of purchase to investigate the matter. To top off the bad experience, it’s been over 2 weeks now and I’ve received no further correspondence and idea if they have bothered doing anything about it.

Thought I would give popeyes in Milton Keynes a visit and had a spicy chicken burger and ice cream and coke zero and was very happy with the service food was lovely and well defo be going again
Barnsley - management a shambles
Family of 4 visited Barnsley yesterday at around 6pm and had an awful experience despite spending £40 on food. We ordered to table and after 30 minutes a member of staff brought drinks and said the delay is due to the cheese taking 12 minutes. another 30 minutes later food was delivered to table, on total 1 hour to get food. when the food arrived we were missing all the fries and one meal, went to counter and this was then brought to us a few minutes later and this was also incorrect so had to wait again for another chicken burger. the manager brought the chicken burger over and offered free ice cream after we had our meal as way of apology. After the meal I spoke to the manager and ordered two ice creams. we waited yet another 20 minutes for two ice creams and these never arrived so we left. Complete let down. In total this experience took about 1 hour 45 minutes. the manager said they were busy, in the restaurant there was one other table taken, this is not busy. if a manager offers a resolution this should be followed through and not leaving guests to be ignored. awful service from the manager and the restaurant.
Update - complained to the company and they offered a £5 voucher that doesn't even cover the ice creams that the manager couldn't be bothered to deal with that he promised. Don't believe a word this place tells you, absolute shambles and absolutely don't go here. Popeyes Braehead – Extremely Unprofessional Behaviour from Staff
I had a terrible experience at Popeyes Braehead.
When I politely told the staff that my caramel coffee had no caramel flavour at all, the staff member immediately pulled a long face and refused to admit there was any problem.
Then they replaced it with another cup that tasted exactly the same — clearly not fixed. When I mentioned it again, they gave me a second replacement that was so overly sweet it was undrinkable.
It was obvious they did it on purpose, as if to mock or play with me for simply pointing out an issue. This behaviour is rude, childish, and completely unprofessional.
No customer deserves to be treated like this. I strongly urge Popeyes UK management to investigate this branch and take action.
Refusing to admit a mistake and deliberately making things worse is not customer service — it’s pure disrespect.
Hygiene standards should be improved
My husband and I are regular customers at the Wakefield Popeyes, but the hygiene standards are really disappointing. I’ve seen staff preparing wraps and burgers without gloves, which is very concerning. Even worse, one staff member was mopping the floor with blue gloves on, then went straight into the kitchen to complete someone’s order wearing the same gloves, before going back to cleaning again.We wanted to address regarding this to the manager but couldnt find the right person then.
