Unauthorized recurring Charged $204.09
Charged $204.09 for an order I never placed
I bought one ProLon 5-Day kit about three months ago as a one-time purchase. Last week I was charged $204.09 for order xxxxxxxx with no warning and no order confirmation beforehand — a kit I didn’t ask for, plus a “Checkout+” add-on, shipping and tax.
The confirmation calls it “Subscribe & Save, Deliver every 3 Months.” I never knowingly signed up for a subscription. The price shown on the site turns out to be the subscription price, not the one-time price, and that isn’t made clear when you check out.
What makes it worse is the policy stack: you have to cancel by 11:59 PM CST the day before renewal, sales go final within hours, kits can’t be returned, and refused boxes get hit with a $50 disposal fee plus shipping. If you don’t know a charge is coming, there is no realistic way to stop it.
I’ve asked for a full refund, cancellation of the subscription, and removal of my payment details. Looking through these reviews, I’m clearly not the first.

A friend and I ordered the 5-day fast…
A friend and I ordered the 5-day fast separately, but we thought we got the same program but she had the premixed soups. It was not consistent; she had L bars, and I had fasting bars. I had extra argal oil, and there was a day she didn't. I got extra teas; she had Zoom consults and information. I didn't find the items consistently packaged, and the website had more sales and marketing information rather than practical how-to information. I did love the taste of the fasting bars and how everything was peanut-free.

Good products, inconvenient shopping experience
The products they sell are great and I’m a believer in their benefits. But I found the online shopping experience inconvenient. There are too many check boxes and options and if you miss checking or unchecking a box you wind up getting add-ons you didn't intend to. I wound up with delivery insurance that I didn't want. But they did refund it quickly when I complained and also I felt listened to and understood by their customer support. For me the health benefits of the Prolon program is worth this inconvenience.

Webpage not user-friendly
Your webpage is one of the worse I've navigated. You were recommended by my PCP who said there would be a discount yet, I don't know if I received one or not from that association. I did get a discount, I think, as a first time customer. If your product had not been recommended by my PCP, I would not have considered your product because it seemed like just another internet scam.

No notice before charging my card and sending me a new shipment. I emailed immediately to stop it, with zero response. I'm out of the country, which makes it even more complicated. Quite upset, and will likely not ever order again.

Outstanding product and a great customer service team.
I was told about this product and the benefits it provides to cancers patients going through chemotherapy so I ordered and used for 3 days prior to my treatment, glad I did. I felt less nauseated. Some use for weight loss of course that is the last thing on my mind. It is a good product that is easy to follow. It worked for me. I would recommend.

Just finished my second FMD
Just finished my second FMD. Prolon has truly been a life changer for me. I've lost 45lbs since I started the FMD program about 6 months ago. The weight loss was great, but I also have been managing Type 2 Diabetes and Hypertension for over a decade. After my first fast, my relationship with the food I eat has changed completely, and I've discovered a new way to look at food. I'm officially (This is from my Doctor, not just myself) in remission for my Diabetes, and have exemplary blood pressure. Prolon is amazing - I couldn't recommend it enough!

A couple of years ago my sister suggested I try a 5 day fast from Prolon. She knew I didn’t have the money so she bought it for me. I was 210 lbs and very excited to try something else. I had tried every product for weight loss and nothing worked for me. My sister and I did the first 5 day box together and called each other in the morning to talk about any weight loss and comparing notes on how we were feeling and how we liked or disliked the mimic food. We both felt that the food was not bad. Some of it was great! Long story short I had amazing results with almost 10 lb loss after the first box. I decided to do another box a few months later and another a few months after that. After the 3rd box I was down 50 lbs. I’m so glad I tried Prolon because I feel so much better and I’m keeping the weight off after 3 years. Thank you to my sister and to Prolon for their amazing Mimic Fast!

Dont try to sell people more than they want
Prolon is a serious company, but when you go to the online checkout and it tries to offer you another special deal (a timed deal at that) and then it tries to offer you a second special deal...It devalues the Prolon brand a little bit in my eyes.
