It helps you recognize your weaknesses without out right fixing them--which personally I enjoy.

An excellent tool for serious writers and novices alike, who appreciate a helping hand in achieving perfect spelling and grammar, as well as tips about sentence structure and much more. ProWritingAid integrates to Scrivener, Word and Google Docs on Windows 11, plus many other applications and all the main browsers. Here's ten reasons why I bought the one-off lifetime license;

- for pro writers there's 25+ writing reports: Scores for clichés, pacing, readability, and variety.
- AI Rephrase tool: Rewrites for clarity, tone, or brevity with one click
- Overused words checker: Spots repetition and filler words like "very."
- Style improvements: Fixes passive voice and sticky sentences
- Word Explorer/Thesaurus: Contextual synonyms with examples, for when the brain freezes
- Pacing & dialogue tags: Balances narrative rhythm and tags
- Custom style guides: Enforce your terminology rules, you can set these for each project
- AI Sparks: Idea generator for rewrites and plots, to nudge those grey cells into life
- And critique report: Full manuscript feedback on structure and genre.
There are other tolls about, if you want to pay monthly.

ProWritingAid is dependable. It works well in all the programs I use such as Canvas and with the browsers I work with, Firefox and Chrome.

For the most part, the recommendations are great, but a few make(For example it says this should be few makes) no sense, and it is hard to ignore something. Or also with this same example of "few make" it will toggle back and forth with no end to making it correct.

Very helpful, gives examples on how to use punctuations etc. But most of the suggestions are premium which is a shame but it's better than grammarly because of the tools they have.

I really liked the manuscript analysis. I was surprised by how thorough and accurate it was. It helped me fix some weak spots in my book that I wouldn't have noticed otherwise. The grammar and spelling tools are also super helpful for editing.
4/5 stars because it has trouble running on large documents. It makes the whole page crash sometimes.

Downloaded PWA, sounded enticing, thought id pay for premium - I had 3 days to see if I liked it, according to the website. Well, I found that I didn't like it. I found it clunky to use, and I had another Ai I could use to assist with grammar and punctuation. I thought ok - I;ll reach out and tell them I want to cancel.They get back to me on the 2nd day after my purchase, and tell me to cancel then contact them for a refund. I did this - but hey presto - no further contact and no refund. Crickets. Funnily, I had an issue with a disappearing report - which I later found by myself, I reached out to their help centre and they got straight back to me. But the money - gone.

This is actually amazing and way better than other things I was using, like Grammarly

Working with Claude has expanded my writing capabilities and is a real time saver. I would highly recommend it as a resource for any businessperson.

It's pretty good. Even the free version. One small problem is that it can't differentiate between a character talking and normal exposition.

Since talking sentence structures are different from normal text.

The editing process is easier to handle and brings my stories to life.

This catches errors in spelling and grammar as I make them, and I love that I get the option to ignore the suggestion if I want. The chapter critiques challenge me to think differently about what I'm trying to convey, and most often I am pleased with the changes I am encouraged to make.

I adore ProWritingAid. I used the free version for a while and it was great, but since buying the perpetual license, my writing has really blossomed. Not only does it make me a more intentional writer, but it cuts my editing time down significantly.

Its very helpful, especially the Web integration into google Docs!

The suggestions have increased the impact of my writing.

I am happy for it is helpful in improving my writing style and also; it is truly exceptional.

I love this app. It's made my writing so much more interesting to read.
