Fine dining disguised as casual - a must visit in Copenhagen
We were there with 3 American friends for dinner, one of which had some food restrictions. The chef came to our table, and discussed the possibilities with our friend, and was able to adapt every course chosen to his restriction! A fun fact, the chef previously worked in a Michelin restaurant in Spain and restaurants in Italy, and as 2 of our American friends were with Italian background and the last was fluent, their conversation with the chef changed into Italian.
The menu is Spanish and Italian inspired with a little South America too, and they use whats in season only, so the menu changes.
We had a variety of starters and mains and can recommend all of them, squid, ceviche, langoustine, zander fillet, pasta and a steak.
They say, they are a casual restaurant, but some of the dishes have definitely been cared for a lot, and the chef knows how to make perfect Zander fillet and Steak, we thought that the quality of the food is closer to fine dining, though the place, in a nice neighbourhood, is probably also addressing the locals as a place to go more often. The prices are on the casual level, the food is above, which makes this restaurant a place worth visiting.
We took the Metro, that stops a short walk from the restaurant.
