I recently had a full solar and battery system installed by PV Gen — 20 panels and a Huawei battery — and the entire experience was absolutely first class.

The team arrived on time, worked efficiently, and had everything installed and fully operational within a single day. The workmanship was excellent, the setup was neat and tidy, and they took the time to walk me through everything before leaving.

It’s rare these days to find a company that delivers exactly what they promise, but PV Gen exceeded expectations from start to finish. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. If you’re considering solar, these are the people to go with.

Update got a email from BG stating lies, was emailing for days arranging a free estimate but was treated miserably, hence the use of trustpilot. Sent BG a screenshot, 19 emails to try and sort.
Was emailing operative GS, arranged an appointment for today, no show & when emailed GS she replied sorry & she could offer a quote over the phone.
Total shambles of a company & waste of my time.

On the day agreed for the installation the electricians arrived about half an hour early. That was fine as we were well prepared for them. They immediately looked for the best route for cabling and trunking. When we agreed on the routing, the got to work mounting their variouselectrical components.
While the electrical installation was taking place, the roofer arrived on site with all the equipment to fit all the brackets and rails to carry the solar panels.
After a few hours the solar panel installation was complete and ready to be hooked up to the previously completed electrical equipment.
The equipment was then tested to ensure that everything was working correctly. When everyone was satisfied they then removed and cleaned up any debris created as a result of the installation.
The entire installation was a very enjoyable experience and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to any potential customers.

The overall experience was positive, with all the staff uniformly professional, helpful and polite. The application for grants was explained clearly and facilitated by the company seamlessly. The installation itself was quick, neat and has been working perfectly since.

I had solar panels installed by PV Generation recently and I couldn't be happier. From the first enquiry to the final installation, the whole team was professional, friendly, and easy to deal with.
They explained everything clearly, gave us a fair quote with no hidden costs, and the installation was completed quickly and tidily. The engineers who came to the house were knowledgeable and happy to answer all our questions. Highly recommend PV Generation to anyone in Ireland thinking about going solar. Service is great, panels have really made an impact to bills. Special mention to the follow up care offered as well, if any issues with the panels is noticed PV Gen will reach out and check if they can support.

About a year from my initial meeting with Sean Dooley, my solar system was installed and operating effectively. PVGen did all the paperwork, from the initial application to finalising the TAMS grant payment.
A short time after my initial encounter with Sean Dooley he called to the farm, followed by another PVGen employee a short time later.
When the Ukrainian man delivered the Manito, this signalled the start of the installation.
Three men worked in the rain installing the panels, the following day two electricians arrived, finalised the installation, set up app, organised payment, now they are organising the grant. The only writing I have done is this review, all the paperwork was done for me.
A very efficient service, all parts of the job went smoothly, the men (i don't remember all their names) were skilled and knowledgeable, sociable and friendly. I follow the input and output on the app every day. I recommend this company PVGen.

From start to finish of the project Pv gen have been very professional in their approach. Everything happened on time and there was minimum disruption on the farm on the day the panels were put in place considering the horrendous weather conditions they had to work under. Looking forward to saving money on my electricity bill.

I had a really positive experience with PV generation, they came to install the solar panels on my Farm at a really busy time for me during calving season. Install process was seamless , the lads installing it were helpful, flexible and personable.

Went with 15 panels and 7 kwh battery. From start to finish, it was a very easy process. All very detailed at every step and installation was very quick with no issues. Very quick to reply to any query and staff who attended were brilliant. The grant and finance process was quick and an electrician was back on site to fix a minor issue within an hour of letting them know. Would recommend highly.

We hadn't a clue about solar power, but knew we need to educate ourselves. From first meeting with John at our home we had a positive experience with PVGeneration.
We met with some other companies, but chose PVGen above the rest. We were right.
The installation was on time, sound technicians and they took any rubbish away.
The helpdesk were brilliant and advised us on getting set up with a fixed tarriff with our electricity supplier. Within a short time we were looking at the credit building up on the easy to use app.
its only been a couple of weeks, and the weather has been terrible this February but on the few occasions that it has been sunny we've seen the jump in power. Looking forward to the spring and the summer!

Excellent from start to finish.Brian Kavanagh came to house explained everything we needed to know and probably some things we didnt,lol.The guys arrived this morning on time and got stuck in everything was fitted and tested and running in what I eould have thought a very short period( less disruption) the ye were a very pleasant bunch of lads.Very professional,cant wait to reap the rewards.

The experience with PV GEN from start to finish has been fantastic . From the initial consultation with Dillon to dealing with Brendan from the aftersales team, it was seamless and everything just went smoothly . These guys are the real deal and delivered a really professional job . Special mention to the fitting crew especially kevin, who did top class work and was a pleasure to deal with .
