Booked in 2019 and due to Covid, it was cancelled. Every time it was rebooked, it was cancelled. On a bright, sunny day, it was cancelled due to rain. Now - out of business. CC company won't refund since it has been 5 years. Thanks Crusty!!

Purchased and paid with a credit card for a gift in Dec 2022. Only 1 or 2 date options available at Dover Speedway in 2023 none of which we could make.
July 29, 2024 Booked a date for Oct 5, 2024 at Dover, got an email Sept. 5, 2024 that the company was out of business. Hard to believe that a month earlier they took my Booking. Did they know they were closing?
Trouble getting a chargeback from credit card company because actual purchase is older than 18 months. Been emailing 5X the "Support" email address for the company and no response. We are out $1500+ .

We just found out that the event is canceled and they are out of business. We were to be in South Boston, VA on 10/5/24. The email and the phone number does not work. We are now out of $256.01. We want our money refunded. So NOT fair!!!

Bought this experience for my boyfriend in January for his birthday in September, took time off from work both of us drove 6 1/2 hrs, rented a place to stay. Got to the track and found out Rusty Wallace experience did not renew the contract with the track. Did not receive notice that it was cancelled or a refund back.

They went out of business and didn't bother to inform anyone who had purchased tickets. I am now stuck calling my credit card company for a chargeback because they won't respond to my emails about a refund.

Just got informed they went Bankrupt, no more driving Experiences (2024) whats worse is this was last years Xmas gift to my son and this past spring it was postponed due to rainout, to Oct 5th at South Boston. I am out 500.00 Thanks Rusty thanks a lot you S ck

I would give them 5 stars, but the event lacked direction as to where to be when, where to go next, and what line you are to stand in, so you don't get missed.
The experience itself was 5 stars. The staff, from the pretty lady that checked us in, onto the well spoke instructor at driving school, then onto the ride along driver and finally the pit crew for the ride alone were all 5 stars.
We saw people of all ages, all types, and all having a blast. Maybe you have a health concern well they help you to the best they can. I met a wonderful 86-year-old man that walked slowly with a cane, yet he drove fast like a race car driver. You can bring family and friends to watch or drive with you. A 5-star experience.

A complete rip off. It's clear that they just want your money. Was cancelled twice and said they would refund us, but never did. Making the Rusty Wallace name look pretty cheap and unethical.

I did the Dream Drive Exotics experience with my father, as a gift for fathers day/his birthday.

Overall, it was a good experience, but i wouldn't have paid full price, or would have been very disappointed if i did.

The autocross course in New England Dragway's parking lot was trash.

The exterior of the cars was 2/10. Poorly wrapped and poorly maintained. Which obviously we are there to drive the cars, but the whole point is to have an experience, and imagine what it would be like to actually own the car, and seeing a cracking, pitted and damaged wrap doesnt add to that experience. (especially if youre paying ~$200 for the full price experience)

The staff was friendly.

Finding the tent a the track was a bit of a pain, since the trailer handling registration was in a Pure Speed livery (another division of RaceWithRusty) which I didnt know until after the fact.

Overall, Im glad i had the groupon, and i wouldnt do this experience with this company again unless I had another groupon.

I live in Wisconsin now amd my dad still lives in Texas, it was literally a dream of his to drive a nascar stock car. Now I've spent $3.5k just trying to get to this stupid NON-REFUNDABLE "driving experience" that I pad for and is not included in the $3.5k I've already had to scrape and save, all because they've canceled on us twice now due to weather. The first time it was misting a little rain on and off, fine, I took my financial lumps and rescheduled for an entire year later. This time in late June when the chances of rain in Texas was way slimmer. Now they've canceled it because of TOO MUCH SUNSHINE!!! Stating the heat index would make it closer to 120° in the car.... which you only drive for 10 laps or less most likely... and instead of offering a chance to reschedule they just canceled the whole thing because it would be a little hot.... IN TEXAS....IN ALMOST JULY!!!! What did you think Texas summer was like? They push really hard to reschedule so you get sick of it and eventually give up and they steal your money in my eyes. No refunds, not responsible for hotels amd travel, basically anything amd everything that can go wrong is not their fault but also they definitely aren't giving you your money back. Do NOT waste your time amd money on the Rusty Eallace Experience. I gave the benefit of the doubt after rain cancelation, but canceling for too much sunshine and heat is a cop-out and you guys are scamming people at this point. If you read this far, if you live somewhere that is overcast, 75° and no humidity, all year round, then go ahead... everyone else, don't bother.

My driving experience was awesome but my ride along I did not get a good full three laps due to fuel pressure issues second tachometer was not working in my drive car no one could tell me how fast I drove which would have been nice to know for that amount of money call me if you want more advice

My wife purchased this as a gift not realizing it's a grift...they take your money and are absolutely inflexible when life happens. I mean, as a business you would think they'd understand something like someone getting sick and needing to reschedule. But they cling to their no-refund policy which isn't clearly communicated up-front, and are completely inflexible changing up when things happen.

This is just one of those things that sounds cool to do, but there are better companies out there with more flexibility that you can do this with. I'd steer clear of these folks. Should've known working with an org whose namesake could only eek out 55 wins in 706 races.

Spotter was rude repeatedly.
Pit boss was rude
I was initially put in the wrong car I had to pay an extra 400 dollars for on line
Car was old but was set up great.
"Track Special" 10 laps for 100 dollars.
I paid in advance 2400 dollars for
50 laps could have saved 1500 dollars if I had bought them at the track. This speaks to level of professionalism didn't have steering wheels that fit for 2 cars.
Pro driver nice guy tried really hard to make up for the short falls of the spotter. Spotter apologized when I went up to see him.
It's somewhere between a con a carnival and a good ride. With current management I don't think it can be better. Buyer bewar.

My husband and son did the racing experience today at Motor mile speedway. Only had 3 cars that was drivable, had to wait way too long to come back up to the stands. The seat in my husband's car was way to close to the steering wheel, he could not move his right leg to use the brakes. The brakes on my son's care did not work. Not enough ppl working to help with getting people in and out of the cars. Somewhat of a RIP off. The race track did not have concession stand to get a drink or snacks so take your own.

I wasted a day going to Five Flags for a Rotten Rusty Wallace Experience.
I went to five Flags with six of my friends for what was to be a fun day..it wasn't! Once we finally got on the track I was launched out behind some idiot who probably wasn't sure why he/she was there. On the second lap the slow car comes off turn 2 and heads up the raceway, I stayed in my lane and pressed on. Until someone was yelling in my ear to stop...when I pulled over next to the wall the idiot pulled down (because I assume his spotter woke up and told him to get down) and brushes the side of my car and keeps going.
I was then yelled at until I came into the pits where this guys comes over and yells at me that that was all my fault. First of all it was not all my fault, the idiot's spotter was sound asleep or he would have had that car over in the inner lane way before anything happened. Second the spotter in my ear didn't say a word until I was almost completely passed the idiot.
I had two friends at the very corner in the stands filming and they clearly saw the idiot cut down and brush me. Another issue was the guy yelling at me stated "it's all your fault because you were in the slow lane, and you can't pass there. Well guess what everyone of the drivers that went with me today instantly stated, the instructor never said anything about not passing on the left....ever.

So after waiting two years to do this experience it was a disaster. There was no damage to the cars yet the idiot gets to continue on and I get to sit out for 38 laps...thanks a lot.

I have been to the Rusty Wallace Racing Experience 4 times now, unfortunately this last time will be my last. I wasn’t going to say anything, but I finally realized if I owned a business, I would like to know why one of my fervent supporters is no longer an advocate.
I bought 16 laps with all the bells and whistles (about $500) last November at Phoenix. I was told there were no COT’s cars available due to several wrecks in California, but they would reduce the limiter to allow for a faster drive. Hey, things happen and I kind of figured that might be the case since the car I was going to drive was a Dodge.
Here is why I will not be coming back. I reviewed my video to make sure. My 16 laps only turned out to be 10 laps, including the first and last lap. I drove behind slower cars the entire time and was not permitted to pass. I never once even had to set the nose since for the most part I was just coasting around the track.
I was concerned I had done something wrong so upon exiting I asked the Pit crew had I done anything wrong and was told they had not heard anything. I have gotten to know the instructor over the years and talked to her, she said she also had not heard anything over the Walkie and I should talk to the lady in the trailer, since she represents the Company. Again, I did just that. She confirmed that there had been no chatter and apologized. She told me when I sign up for next year to let them know I am to get 4 extra laps free.
Don’t get me wrong, everyone there was nice as usual. One of the Pit guys told me on my way out that because they had lost so many cars in California that they were slowing the cars way down and others had complained about not being able to pass.
For me $500 is something I must save for, but moreover, the disappointment I felt after really affected me for a couple weeks after. I didn’t realize just how much I looked forward to this every year.
As much as I have enjoyed doing this, I feel the risk is just too high both emotionally and financially to try it again.

First experience was so good I brought family and friends up for my second experience, which is were it all went south. Went through all the precheck on coms they asked if I could hear them I could. We went to race after a few laps they waved me in so I went in. They ripped down my window and head set screaming in my ear saying why aren't you doing what we say on coms? I'm like I didn't hear a thing he continued yelling at me. It was the most unprofessional thing in the world your equipment failed take responsibility!!! Never be back I continue to tell everyone I possibly can about this, it's been a few years and I still boil when I think about it.

I had done this one time before through a different company and there is no comparison. The Rusty Wallace Experience was terrible. As mentioned in other posts, there is pressure to buy the insurance which is completely unnecessary. I had to wait over 30 minutes to get a large helmet. ALL the staff seemed annoyed, my pit road member that put me in the car was a total jerk and rude. Hey pal, I'm paying your salary, did you forget about that!?!?! The earpiece for the radio was so damn loud it about blew my eardrum out and being it was so loud, you couldn't hardly understand what they were saying as the distortion was so bad. On to the cars, what a piece of junk. Most of the cars had body damage. My car had to be jumped off and the inside of the car was filthy and covered in soot. My steering wheel was missing some of the foam so it was all jacked up. Then the Hans device that locks your helmet to the safety belts were so short causing you not to be able to move your head down, I could barely see out the windshield due to the Hans device pulling my helmet back, let lone see the gear shift or gauges. Between the anyoyed staff, lack of organization, crappy equipment and long waits, I would STRONGLY recommend you look elsewhere for a NASCAR driving experience!!!

Great experiences and definitely would love to go again. The staff was very kind and helpful. The ride along with the professional driver was unbelievable and really added to the excitement of the whole experience. The car I drove was great. I do have a couple concerns I would like to share. Driving Instructor Art really drove home the safety guidelines while driving on the track and all points were well taken and I was in 100%.
Safe first, but at different locations on the track the orange and green markings wasn’t very visible and it kept me wondering if I was in the proper place between the lines. I think it sort of limited my ability to have a safe, comfortable, and speedy drive. I definitely didn’t want to crash with anyone. I think over a period of time and continues runs the markers become faded or peeled from the track. Maybe something a little more visible and durable. 🤷🏽‍♂️
The other concern was the communication with the spotter. Maybe better quality ear buds? My spotters voice was so loud and had a distraught sound, honest I couldn’t understand him. He had to repeat himself numerous times before I understood his directions. Sorry guys, but that wasn’t working to well for me.
Maybe better track markers and better quality ear buds.
But it was definitely fun and can’t wait until the next time.

Staff was exceptional! I had a ride along and drove a car at Texas Motor Speedway.
Art was an informative instructor and my driver offered tips which helped tremendously when I drove.
By the way I’m a 66 yr old grandmother.
Thank you Rusty Wallace & staff for the experience of a lifetime!
