Im still very angry with Leather-up. My husband has gotten his vest through them one time before. So yes i decided to try them first. Bad choice this time. I was willing to pay a decent price to get my husband a leather vest with no ordering problems. I was searching for his size which was an XXL. Not difficult. Well everytime i thought i might of found one, boom not in his size. No problem i kept looking tjat night and i found it. They said they had it in his size. They were so desperate for the sell it took all my info abd the second i pressed enter it said your dize Small jacket is on its way!! I tried emailing them of there error immediately that very second. I sent 3 emails that very night before they even could start the process. They emailed me finally late the next day and said sorry they couldnt stop it from being mailef. Wow!!! So i promise you that you will not be satified with the way the company has change there ways. It is absolutely wrong its call GREED!!! So sad. By the way im donating it just to not ever deal with them again. I went through another company instead. OMG! Im very happy to of moved along. I say i give them less than 2 years, good bye to once was a upright business to buy from. Did i say good bye......unhappy with your dealings.
There is no customer service to talk to nor chat with.
Upon purchasing this vest, I discovered that it was significantly smaller than I expected. I am unable to even exchange it for a bigger size because I tried to contact customer service by telephone and they never answered. I tried contacting them by chat nor response as well. I do not recommend this company at all.

This company is very dishonest. I ordered a pair of boots, and I couldn't get them on. I contacted customer service, and I had to pay for the return shipping to get a refund. They will not give me a refund, only an in-store credit, which I do not want.
Leather-up is a middleman supplier
Leather-up is not a supply company! It is a couple foreign nationalist guys with a well done web site! I thought I was buying Canadian, but found out they con you into thinking that with the website name but are actually based in NJ! You place a order, then they take your money, order your product from a established supply company and then ship to you (and not quickly, took almost 3 weeks to receive my order). I have been trying to return a jacket that the size was wrong (this is the second jacket). Ordered a XL jacket that should fit my 47" chest and received a jacket at 54"(2XL)! Now they say I am measuring the jacket wrong and am now stuck with return shipping of $68.00 CND! If you need anything listed on their site, save yourself some grief and order directly from the supplier.
Communication lacking, no refund
Accidentally ordered 2 vests, had to return one. Took forever to get a response, finally received the code to return but had to pay for return shipping. Not that big of a deal, but it's been weeks and STILL have not received my refund. They don't communicate with you and you have to chase them for your money back. Never again with this company.
BUYERS BEWARE READ RETURN POLICY
This company is very sneaky and deceiving. Always read return policies of any online business. They state to order a smaller size because boots run bigger. That is not true. Ordered size 7.5, I wear a size 8. They did not fit. Way too small! Now this is wear they make their money telling you to order incorrect size and you lose money because of their RETURN POLICY, this will cost you just to get your money back. This is a scamming company. We have to pay now pay $11-20 in shipping fees for the return to get our money of $139.00. BUYER BE WEAR!! Karma will catch up to these scammers. I don’t care how great they think their products are. There return policy is ridiculous. Boycott this company!!

Not satisfied. Overpriced compared to Amazon (discovered after purchase of a pair of Joe Rocket boots - Amazon cheaper by $30.) Also painfully slow return process - they don't process replacement item until return item is received and "evaluated," which takes 2-3 business days after they receive the item, then you have to pay the overage for the new item, then they ship the replacement 2-3 business days after that. Could have processed the return and the new purchase at the same time saving 7-10 days of additional waiting. Very hard to get a live person on customer service numbers. Not recommended.

Brother bought an leather jacket that came with a hoodie and did the measurements like they have on site and order the size according to the measurements and items are to big only tired them on and wish to exchange and has been told that he cant

This company is dishonest. I received a jacket with a manufacturing defect and was told it would come out with wear. It did not and now they have told me the jacket needs to have tags to return it and *then* they told me the jacket was *supposed* to be like that (which is an outright lie) and now will not respond to my requests for escalation. I will never buy from LeatherUp again. Terribly dishonest company.
VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER!!!
I had to return a $93 leather vest and accidentally asked for a store credit when I needed a full refund. First time ordering from this site online and made a mistake. I called 3 times and each time they said they were sending it to the customer service department that could issue a refund but they would need to look at the reason. The 3rd time I called I was told it was too late now to get the refund. Each time I talked to Mark and he said he is THE ONLY person in customer service which I find very hard to believe. He said I only called one other time and the request was denied. I don't ride or wear leathers. This purchase was for a friend that I no longer talk to. I will never use this credit. Now I guess I am just screwed. Mark was very rude and said there was no supervisor to talk to that he is the only one I can talk to. I am extremely disappointed and am stuck with no return money. I will tell everyone I know not to order from this site. Horrible customer service.

Bought a pair of boots on line
Bought a pair of boots on line. Great boots the price said $119. I was looking around a bit more and found if I gave my email I would get 15% off my next purchase. So I did it. Have me a code. So I went to buy the boots. Got to point off putting in code and when I did the price jumped up to $129. And didn't even take off the 15%. Nor did it take off 10% that was a supposed auto discount. On pay pal it said seller Smk international. So I tried calling. That number connected me to a gift card scam. Pay $3.95 with your credit card today and we'll mail you $100 gift card. After me saying no and plenty of arguing they got someone else on line to connect me to Smk. He have me a number to call that disconnected. I quickly put in a complaint with pay pal about the up pricing. Later pay pal listed leather up as seller so I contacted them. They told me they would refund me the correct amount but couldn't do it now because of my complaint. If I removed it then they would refund the money. So I cancelled the complaint. I called in a couple days and argued with a guy about the refund. We agreed on $19 although it should have been more. When I looked on pay pal they refunded me $12.99 which is only 10% off the elevated price. The experience was not good. The boots are awesome but be careful something is not right here. I would have given them one star but the boots are awesome. Xelement.

I've never been disappointed with the quality of these vests. I've purchased 3 over the past few months. Shipping speed was also very fast.
Very slow to respond customer servicer
Ordered boots for the wife and I but the wife's boots didn't fit. Tried to setup a refund but no one will get back to me on the web site, via phone, on tic tok. I'm afraid to send the boots back because I honestly don't think I'll get my money back.

Exchanged a jacket because the way they had it packaged caused the zipper to damage the sleeve. The item they replaced it with had the same damage. Now they are ignoring my emails for a refund.

'FREE SHIPPING OVER $69.99' ?...NOPE!
The offer 'FREE SHIPPING OVER $69.99' appears on the top of Leather Up's home page, email headers, and is scattered at least a dozen times throughout their web-page (with no qualifiers). When I questioned them as to why I was being charged $180 for shipping, I was told that it only applies within the U.S. Although after finding and deciphering their shipping conditions it seems that Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico are also excluded. As I live in Australia, and the prices on Leather Up's web page don't specify U.S currency, the $149.99 saddlebags (plus the 'FREE SHIPPING') ended up costing just under $500, that's a BIG difference. Unfortunately, the customer won't find this out until they reach the check-out after they have handed over their: name, home address, date of birth, and phone number, ...etc. In the age of 'information theft' I would have thought that the LAST thing a company would want was to be in possession of a persons private information unnecessarily. Putting 'FREE DELIVERY' on a world-wide forum, suggests free-delivery WORLD-WIDE. When in actual fact Leather Up do not even offer free delivery within the entirety of the US. It would have been a lot easier and less confusing to either put an * next to their offer or MORE ACURATELY, not to include it at all in their advertising.
Received defective vest
Received defective vest, sent in photos of the vest. Despite the proof in the photos, I now have to wait for a return package for my refund. Not going here again.
