Rangeelaa makes the most beautiful clothing I have ever owned, and it is made to order for me personally. The best part is that the fabric is made from recycled or upcycled sarees which saves it from the landfills. I can recommend this company to anyone who wants fashionable clothes!

I love being able to choose the sari from which my garment will be made.

I love the unique styles of the fabric and and dresses. Being able to choose your own fabric and customize dresses to your body type is an absolute luxury. But being able to do that and know that you are helping women on the other side of the world, become more independent and be able to help their daughters receiving an education makes Rangeela amazing.

Tl:dr- Gorgeous, quality, brightly-coloured, comfortable, circular-fashions, with amazing customer service; that you will want to make closet space for!

Upon receiving my first order of a couple of wrap skirts; gorgeously matched silks, with beautiful patterns- I was hooked! The soft silks are so comfortable, and the colours so bold. I did what any reasonable person would do, I cleaned my closet to make space, and ordered more!😅

For years, I had mostly worn sweatpants; they were the only thing I felt comfortable in, due to living with chronic illness+disability. I found wrap skirts incredibly versatile. From running errands, to yoga class, to rotting on the couch; you are covered in comfort and style.

I like that I can not only see faces, but know the stories of the artisans making the clothing. Their lives are woven into the wearable art they create for you. With the preorder process you can pick the saree, fabric or pattern, and choose the style and size that are best suited to your figure.
The sarees being repurposed are hand selected and quality checked. No rough materials or glaring flaws.
The dresses are my favorite and I feel pretty wearing them.

Rangeelaa is by far the best repurposed sari company out there. I have been collecting their creations for many many years. The number one selling point for me originally was the fact that you know what you are buying. I hate not being able to see the full pattern when purchasing something or not even knowing the color. With Rangeelaa you are involved in the entire process from picking the saree from albums to selecting the garment and finally providing specific measurements for the creation by VERY talented and skilled seamstresses and artisans. That’s right each garment is a work of art created by beautiful women. Rangeelaa is an Extremely well organized company handling logistics across the globe. Bo is - This is an all women run business which is icing on the cake.

I have been a Rangeelaa customer for six years. I have remained a customer for so long because Rangeelaa is one of the most ethical and trustworthy businesses I've ever encountered. It is a small, woman-owned business that employs a very small team of female artisans in India. Satya, the owner of the company treats these women like family; in fact, one of the women is Satya's childhood best friend. As customers, we get to know these women through shared photos and stories. The upcycled skirts, dresses, and tops that they create are made from ethically sourced sarees, and the quality is excellent. There is so much heart and soul put into this company... the beautiful clothing is just one of the reasons I love Rangeelaa!

I believe I first purchased a skirt from the premade selection in 21 as I found one that I thought my sister would love. I liked that I could preview the skirts. I also purchased a few for myself and I felt the quality was above the quality of other sari skirts I had previously purchased.

I just recently received my first custom ordered skirts and dresses. I have been very encouraged again by the quality, and have received complements every time I wear one.

The owner will post about the type of materials used for skirts or the sari's available for custom items. I am still struggling learning the different material types, but I know rubber silk is one of my favorites. This added information can allow you to know what you are purchasing.

True confession: I have dozens upon dozens (I know, I know 😬) of repurposed sari skirts from multiple vendors because I’ve been an avid collector for the last several years. Rangeelaa skirts are of a quality unlike anywhere else. The silk is unique to Rangeelaa. Everything -
from the waistband to the hems - are so precise! I love that the belts are so long! I can tuck them in or they can be tied into a lovely, soft bow and add to my look of the day. Everything drapes and flows so beautifully!

I always feel like a class act when wearing my Rangeelaa skirts! Even my husband checked me out today and said, “Wow, babe - those skirts are on their own level!” I have to agree!

I tend toward stunners, show-stoppers, saturated colors. I have to say, though, even the more subdued Rangeelaa skirts I wear are so expertly designed that they make a statement. Consistently top shelf!

Have bought several dresses from Rangeelaa. The quality is top notch.The artisans that make the dresses are top notch. It may be a small company (7-8 employees, all women) but they really know their stuff. Love that the dresses are custom made....looking forward to buying more!

Rangeelaa offers customers gorgeous, truly ethical, no-factory labour recycled sari skirts, dresses, & other sari products, with quality not matched by any other company, and I’ve bought from every vendor I could find, in the years since I’ve started - c. 2018. I have bought over 500+ skirts over this whole time from many places, and in that time, evaluated countless companies.

When I get “into” something, I dig in, and look for the best. As a result, I can without a doubt say that Rangeelaa is the best, by far, in quality, beauty, and the uniqueness of print and fabric. You also won't be getting the usual QC issues that you see with other brands, from Rangeelaa.

Rangeelaa also offers a unique buying process. Allowing both premade skirts to be sold (when they come in), or to have custom orders made just for you. They truly do offer a unique process and experience. Meaning, yes, you can choose your fabrics, and your size to your measurements and then have one of the 5 women artisans in India make them for you. Once you receive them, the tag shows you which one of the women made your actual skirt, dress, etc. It is a wonderful, individual and truly caring experience.

Rangeelaa is also the only company where you actually get to “know” the women who work for it. The coordinator in India is also in the FB group that is run by the Canadian-Indian owner, Satya.

You can also participate, if you choose, in periodic humanitarian projects that help the women or others, if unexpected medical emergencies come up - we can help to fund them! The sense of actual community is there, both in how customers, workers and everyone else is treated.

That’s the kind of group and company I will support. Where quality, honesty, and integrity aren’t just words and slogans, but truly matter and are practiced.

I've been following Satya and buying from her since the early days when she started. When Rangeelaa started with custom made wrap skirts and Mahika dresses, I was amazed at the quality of the artisans' work.
