A very thorough and well delivered course

Very very helpful and friendly training staff- insightful sessions and extra sessions put on allowing you to tailor training to fit in with current work commitments.

With RCA, you become part of an international learning community. An inclusive, holistic space for discussion, teaching and learning with a profound belief in recovery for all. I began with drop in sessions which were for information, becoming a Recovery Ally, then moving on to the accredited Recovery coach training. I would thoroughly recommend RCA.

Recovery Coach Academy training has been invaluable for me to understand how my life experience can be used to support people struggling with addiction; both in an individual and professional recovery coaching context. On completion, I have a much better sense of where the value of both lie, and that when done right, there is no conflict between the two.
The course is brilliant facilitated, encouraging everyone to contribute to genuinely lively and insightful discussions. It was a real eye-opener working with other people coming to Recovery Coaching from different routes and perspectives and with such a diverse range of skills, motivations and experiences.

A great course to begin your journey into recovery coaching. I found most students left with wanting more but they do offer more education and cummunity support after completion. I do wish we learned a bit more practical things like adult learning thoery, mental health and addiction prevention, motivational teaching and other practical tools of coaching. I would say they opened the door but the rest is up to you. But this was just the first part of the full accredidation, So I hope to learn more as I continue with RCP!

Calliese made this experience so interesting and inclusive. She is a brilliant facilitator. The group was small which I also liked for sharing some personal things on this course.
The content was thought provoking and good at developing self awareness through discussion.

Exceptional facilitators ensured that respect was upheld whilst allowing for the opinions of all involved to be heard. The training was very interactive and therefore much more valuable than other online training.

I recently attended Ethical Considerations for Recovery Coaches and I can confidently say it has been an enlightening and eye-opening experience. From the very beginning, the course provided a comprehensive understanding of ethical principles and how they apply in various professional and personal scenarios.

What I found most beneficial was how these theories were connected to real-world dilemmas. Great program run by a lovely team . Rewarding and valuable training

I have just completed the 5-day Recovery Coach Training and would highly recommend it.

I had identified RC as a potential career path and decided to see what was involved. The course is thorough and informative, presented well and very inclusive and warming to all participants.

I had never been in a recovery setting and had only discussed my recovery with friends and family in my local area, I had barely any experience even using Zoom! I was in awe at the people on my course, all from different parts of the world, different ages, and different experiences and I learned so much from them all.

The two course facilitators Naetha and Calliese were exceptional. Their passion for recovery and helping others shined through. I had a bit of imposter syndrome and was lacking in self-belief and both asked how they could help me in addressing that, which instantly put me at ease for the following days. No days were the same and they taught us so much. The content was engaging and has given me plenty of food for thought for my recovery, as well as clarifying that RC is a career path I wish to pursue.

I will be attending all other courses in the hope of becoming an RCP and would recommend anyone considering joining the RCA movement to do so.

A very positive and uplifting day giving a good overview of what can be achieved and overcome in life with the right support. Speakers were engaging and those who spoke about their own personal experiences were inspirational. The day was very tiring and I could probably have done with a couple of short breaks as well as lunch, however I appreciate there was alot to fit into the day. Was very generous to provide lunch and the venue was excellent..I have been recommending this to colleagues and wd definitely attend another conference...
