Complaint Against Redirecionamento Delaware – Unfair Charges and Poor Customer Service
I hired Redirecionamento Delaware's service to ship my package from the United States to Brazil. The original shipment took place in July 2023, costing $370.99 for a 63-pound package. However, the package was denied by Anvisa without any clear explanation and was subsequently returned to the sender—Redirecionamento Delaware itself.
I strongly believe that Anvisa’s refusal was due to an error in the company's incomplete declaration of the contents. I have always followed all import regulations and have never encountered issues before.
Now, the company is refusing to provide proper customer service and is attempting to impose an unfair, excessive fee for reshipping my own package. They have even threatened to discard it if I do not agree to their imposed charges.
Unfair Charges and Pricing Discrepancy
According to the company’s website, the current shipping cost for the same weight should be $430.85.
However, when I contacted the company via WhatsApp, I was shocked to receive an outrageous charge of $895.98, more than double the correct price.
When I questioned this excessive fee, I was told that if I did not agree to pay, my package would be discarded.
Failure to Register My Returned Package on Time
Redirecionamento Delaware clearly states on their website that returned packages must be registered in the customer’s suite within 24 business hours.
However, even after confirmation that my package was returned to the warehouse, it was never registered. This prevents me from managing my shipment or taking any action regarding my items.
Negligent Customer Service and Lack of Responses
The customer support has been completely negligent, providing no assistance whatsoever.
My requests are ignored.
No explanation has been given for the situation.
No justification has been provided for the excessive charge.
They have failed to register my package despite multiple inquiries.
My Immediate Demands:
✔ Register my package in my suite as per the company's stated policies.
✔ Charge the correct amount of $430.85 as listed on the website. I will not accept arbitrary and abusive charges.
✔ Ensure my package is not discarded, auctioned off, or subjected to any other improper handling.
I expect immediate action to resolve this issue.
