Misleading “Free Trial” Turned Into $120 Charge – Be Careful

I recently signed up for what was advertised on FOX News as a “free trial” of Relaxium, where I only needed to pay $7.95 for shipping. Based on the advertisement, this seemed like a low-risk way to try the product.

However, what followed was extremely disappointing and, frankly, misleading.

Without any clear warning or reminder, I was charged $120 by Relaxium shortly after receiving the trial. I never intended to enroll in a subscription or authorize additional shipments at that price point.

After digging deeper, I discovered that this is not an isolated experience:

Many customers report unexpected charges after the trial period
Others receive multiple bottles they didn’t knowingly order
The cancellation process appears intentionally difficult, often involving pressure tactics
Refunds require returning the product at your own expense—and even then are not guaranteed

The issue appears to lie in the fine print, where a 14–17 day window is buried, after which you are automatically enrolled in a costly subscription.

This experience feels like a classic “bait-and-switch” setup—advertising a low-cost trial while quietly enrolling customers into a high-priced recurring charge.

My advice: Avoid this offer entirely.
If you’re considering Relaxium, read every detail carefully and understand that the “free trial” is not truly free.

Unfair business practices

Sadly this didn't work for me like others said it had for them. The onething that I have an issue with is them sending out two bottles. When the offer is for a 14 day trial making the customer responsible for the cost. To return the second bottle if it doesn't work for them that needs to stop them doing that. I can see how people would end up being charged for it which isn't okay to do to people. Since they didn't ask for the second bottle they're just sending it to people that try the product. To return something I didn't ask for was about eight bucks. If you don't make it to the post office then they'll definetly charge you for it. This needs to stop now not fair to customers to have to waste their money on something they didn't ask for. I'm seeing reviews where customers are complaining about being charged for the extra bottle. That with some they're refusing a refund do to all of this them sending out more then what a customer asked for. I wasn't aware they were sending out an extra bottle til I received it.

This is the biggest piece of crap…

This is the biggest piece of crap medicine because it does not work in any form or fashion! I ordered both kinds of this stuff on Amazon. Thank God I never called them per their TV Ad solicitation! Neither of these two types have helped me one bit! I never like Bill O’Reilly or Huckabee! This product with their testimonials further the fact what Maggots each of them are!
I’m 65 and I use prescription Ambien which does not work much on me either. I fall asleep for maybe 3 hours and I can’t go back to sleep after that. I’ve even taken Relaxium on top of this numerous times to no avail.
In this day and age everything is suspect due to our FDA not having the manpower or resources to pursue investigating all these generic drugs or supplements. The prescription drug companies own this world and pay off every person and other organizations that exist.
Please do not waste your money on this sleep aid and if you do choose to be stupid enough to try it Do Not get it from the company direct. I know what sleep issues entail and there are too many people that are desperate for help with their apneas but this is a scam and not the way to go!

Total Fraud

Total Fraud. Buyer beware. I've been skeptical of these types of offers for a lifetime but with both Mike Huckabee & Bill O'Reilly endorsing on TV & web sites thought I would give it a try for $7.95 and full refund guaranteed. Order placed before Christmas 12/16/25 for wife was received around 12/20/25. Two bottles would last for 2 months at 2 per night and 60 pills per bottle. So, I marked my files to follow up and make sure nothing further would be sent or billed until we saw whether it worked. Thought I had until at least 1/15/26 so today 1/14/26, I started to find out if there was going to be any further billing or orders shipped, like some of these scams do. Well first, it was not easy to find the account details, but when I did, to my surprise they already billed another $119. +tax for a total of $129.94 ON Jan 2nd, only about a week after the pills were received. Another $119+ was scheduled for 2/9. Worse yet when I called to inquire on whether another order for the amount billed was shipped, I was told no, the additional charge was for the first "Free/trial" order. To get a full refund I have to send the unopened bottle back to them at my cost (thankfully only one was open), and wait for a refund. The CS rep was nice, very apologetic for the misunderstanding etc. & I was not mincing any words because this is terrible. Shame on both Mike & Bill. Until now I thought more of both of you but I guess your greed caught up with your morals. What a scam. By the way the product is worthless and did nothing. Also, since when is sales tax allowed on shipping to NV address?

I have been dealing with insomnia for…

I have been dealing with insomnia for 16yrs, I have tried all natural supplements that did nothing. I can’t take anything over the counter because it all has Benadryl in it and I can’t take Benadryl. A dr prescribed me ambien but it was to addictive for me and I would do things I didn’t remember while taking it. I could go 3 days without sleep at all and would be going crazy in my mind from no sleep. Relaxium Sleep works very well for me

Relaxium Sleep works very well for me. Before Relaxium, after using the bathroom in the middle of the night I use to lie awake for hours. With Relaxium I am able to fall back to sleep in a fairly short time. There is some confusion making the initial order that you are agreeing to a subscription. Be sure you understand the details and the ability to cancel and return the unused product for a refund.. I do not use the subscription, I order as needed.

They are the epitome of Scam Artistry

They are the epitome of Scam Artistry. Orders are done via telephone “menu”. They try to get you to agree to a trial that includes a small fee for two bottles followed by $119.00 every month unless you cancel. If you refuse they then allow you the trial sample at no further cost. They they try to interest you in two other products. I declined these and in several days received two bottles and was billed $7.95. Sure enough two weeks later I was billed $119.90. When I called the company, they said that the monthly order was never canceled. This is true because the automatic monthly order was NEVER AGREED UPON! À quick call to my credit card company quickly resolved the problem. I’ll receive no further bills. And most importantly of all the product doesn’t work! You’d be better off taking a hot shower, and getting into bed and counting sheep, backwards, starting at one hundred.
