I had a great time experience with remit choice...

I used Remit Choice when they first started, and their service was very good. They would call customers, offer competitive exchange rates, and encourage feedback and reviews.

Unfortunately, my experience has changed significantly over time. It now feels like the company is more focused on attracting customers with advertised rates than providing fair and consistent service.

For example, I often receive push notifications claiming that the Pakistan rate is 325.50, which appears higher than competitors such as TapTap Send or ACE Money Transfer. However, when I actually try to send money, the rate can change dramatically. For instance, sending €400 may show a rate of 325.50, but increasing the amount by just €1 to €401 can cause the rate to drop to around 323.00.

I have attached screenshots for reference, which show the difference in exchange rates for nearly identical transfer amounts. Based on my experience, the advertised rate and the actual rate offered during the transfer process do not always match.

I would advise people to carefully check the final exchange rate before completing any transaction and compare it with other providers. Transparency and consistency are important when sending money, and customers deserve to know exactly what rate they will receive.

The worst ever i used in my entire life. It will stuck your money. They don’t transfer it and don’t refund it. You need to wait for 5-10 working days. Please don’t waste your time and money here.

Before sending the money, I asked them whether the bank transfer would be instant, and they assured me that it would be. However, after I made the transfer, they delayed it for a very long time. First, they said I needed to update my address, and then they asked me about the person who referred me.

This seems very unprofessional and shady to me, considering that I provided my original ID and the person who referred me also uploaded his original ID. I feel like they are stalling my payment as well as they don't care about urgency of money needed on other end. Their app is also very poorly designed. I believe it is the worst remittance provider amongst all.

For me, I have been using this app since 2020/2021 till today, it still fast and reliable.

Messages coming out of 1- 289-224- 1088, requesting for USA federal tax on personal remittance to friend in the amount of Chf.100.
They are violating privacy data law by illegally opening up closed account.
The Remmit choice are not helping to stop the fraud by their customer service.

The customer service are violating metadata opening closed transfer account providing information to Muslim community in zurich, demanding an exthotion to pay exhobitant amount for USA tax on one time remittance of chf.100 to friend,providing friend information for an exthotion ,illegally giving identity credentials of customer closed account to the convicted radical Muslim in zurich.
Opening a closed account demanding exthotion and providing metadata of closed customer account is a violation, This is coming out of remmitchoice out of Muslim community in Minessota USA to convicted radical Muslim group in zurich.

Ce service me paraît frauduleux.
J’ai tenté d’effectuer un transfert d’argent pour la première fois via leur application. Le système m’a d’abord demandé de compléter mon profil, ce que j’ai fait.
Cependant, dès que j’ai initié le transfert, ma banque a immédiatement détecté une activité frauduleuse et a bloqué ma carte.
Plus inquiétant encore, les informations de mon profil que j’avais complétées ont ensuite disparu de l’application.
Cette situation est très suspecte et soulève de sérieux doutes quant à la fiabilité et à la sécurité de ce service.

Unless you have a lot of time to waste and your transfers are never urgent, I strongly advise avoiding Remit Choice. I tested their service twice and both times, the experience was disastrous.
On the first transfer, they kept delaying the transaction by asking for documents I had already provided. At one point, they demanded an official bank statement showing the very transaction I had just made with them. My bank only issues official statements once a month, which I explained. They still insisted and held my money until I finally gave up and asked for a refund.
One month later, I gave them a second chance. Once again, I provided everything: ID, selfie, proof of address, proof of income, bank statements. This time, I was even able to provide the statement showing the Remit Choice transaction. Still not enough. They started questioning other private transactions visible on my bank statement — small amounts received from friends — completely unrelated to their service. This level of intrusion is unbelievable. I have never experienced anything like this with any other transfer company.
I fully understand compliance requirements, but the way Remit Choice applies them is chaotic, repetitive, disrespectful, and unprofessional. It feels like they deliberately discourage customers through endless loops of documentation.
I would never recommend them to anyone. There are far more reliable alternatives.

Ich habe das Geld vor zwei Tagen geschickt und der Empfänger hat das bis jetzt nicht bekommen. Seit 2 Tage sagen sie mir , dass sie Technische Probleme haben und das geht nicht. Das passiert sehr oft und das ist schon das 5th mal , dass ich dieses Problem habe

After today, I don’t think I’ll ever use remit choice again. They’re currently holding my money when I need it urgently back home and this is not the first time. Some of the staff respond quickly and even at that, you just have to keep explaining yourself before they eventually sort it. Sometimes it’s as if you’re chatting with a robot because they just keep apologising without actually understanding the situation or giving the help you need. I had the worst experience today with Alizar Shahbaz and Prince Naveed. After holding my transfer, I sent my payslip, the most recent bank statement I have and even my job contract as well as screenshots of my bank account, all that just to show my source of funds, absolutely ridiculous. Yet after all that, Prince was asking me to explain the money I’m getting in my account. Unbelievable. After telling him I’m working and going as far as showing my job contract and recent payslip. I don’t have enough words to explain the level of incompetence and inhumanity they showed. I’m so disappointed.

My wife is going to Cameroon today so I send money to my brother in-law to pay rent for the house she’s staying in.
Behold of my surprise that they hold my money for a review, what the review is about they can’t explain! Shouldn’t a review take place before a transaction?So now my wife has to stay in hotel because they hold the money, ask me to upload my Id again plus my brother in law’s Id. So don’t use their services if you need to get your transaction pain free and swift

Since my Remit Choice account has been deactivated and I no longer have access, I request that you process the refunds of my transactions RCL1711260493 and RCL3911263426. If the refunds are not processed today, I will report both transactions to my bank. I will also be posting negative reviews about you shortly.

I am very happy since the day I installed this app. I have had a lot of fun.

I always use Remit Choice to send money home because customer support is really fast, and conversion rates are really good. I 100% recommend this app.
