I was hesitant when looking at previous reviews however they have exceeded my expectations and provided great customer service a special thanks to the Service engineer Adam for fixing my oven thanks.

This company appears to have gone out of business? Either that or they are totally ghosting me!

I called them out to fix a dishwasher 3 months ago. To be fair, it was fixed and working fine until 2 weeks ago when the same fault happened (machine has stopped working/draining due to "flooding").

Because all repairs are under 6 months warranty, I messaged them back (it is the ONLY way to get in touch - the number on the website just repeats the same message over and over that new repairs are booked on the website and existing customers have to email - so why even have a phone number then?!).

Of course no one replies to the email - I try again - no response. I create a new quote request - no response. I get my partner to create a new quote request - no response. I get my sister who lives at a different address to create a new quote request - no response.

SO - I have to conclude that although their website and automated phone message still appear to be working, the company seem to be very much defunct.

Very disappointing that 1: the repairs that were carried out did not last more than 3 months and should have been under warranty and 2: if the company is now defunct then update the website or have it taken down completely!

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE CON ARTISTS I read the reviews and gave them a call. After explaining my appliance a microwave had stoped working suddenly they booked in an engineer for me. I made it very clear that the fuse was ok and the power supply to the microwave was still live and that the trip switch in the consumer box had not tripped out. I asked for what repairs they can carry out like in built fuses on my microwave need replacing(Most microwaves that stop working have fuses inside the door which activate the microwave so this can also be an issue) they informed me their expert engineer would carry out any repair so long as he had the part and if he needed to order that part they would not charge for another visit. It sounded great as my appliance was a built in microwave by SMEG and was not cheap. The engineer(EXPERT) arrived and asked me about the microwave and what was wrong. After I had informed him what I had already explained to the office he looked at the fuse and power supply. He turned to me and said the microwave is not worth fixing. I was like are you not going to open it up and check it properly? No it is not worth it as it is expensive so you are better of buying a new one. REALLY this is expert analysis 2 mins tops and it cost me £114 and waited all day for this so called expert. What's more shocking is that I already knew this was not working but expected your technical expertise to look in to multiple possibilities as to why it has suddenly stopped working. I asked for his qualification and it was P.A.T certified so what about your expertise on microwaves or perhaps you are time served with SMEG appliances????...NO I am not. So what did I wait all day for and waste £114 on. What a joke it was utterly shocking I am no expert but can assure you there so called expert technicians are certainly not...more like chancers and taking money for what is a shocking service. They did not do anything other than send out a person to look yes look at my appliance and say Yes it's not working which I already knew. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND PUT IT TOWARDS A NEW APPLIANCE.

Like many other reviewers, I had a brief visit from a so-called "engineer" who said a spare part was required that was so expensive I'd be better off buying a new fridge-freezer. That diagnosis cost me £94. When an engineer from Glotech paid a visit a couple of weeks later, I got a quick repair with a spare part that only cost £100. I felt I'd been ripped off by Repairgiant and would advise anyone to use Glotech instead.

We used the service to fix our dishwasher.
Our dishwasher was running very good before and only has an error code recently.

After the first visit from engineer, the dishwasher starts to leaking water, which it wasn't before.
Then 2nd visit, he replaced the pressure kit and still not working. Then he say the pressure kit is faulty.
We brought the pressure kit ourselves, and he used it on the dishwasher which still not working. The engineer then suggests that we replace the machine completely as there maybe faulty in control board.

However, I don't believe what they were saying, so we find another engineer from a different company. The engineer said the issue is very simple and fixed it in 15min. He also mentioned the pressure kit was not fit in the right place by the previous engineer which caused the leaking.

When I reply back to Repair Giant about the fact, they didn't reply with anything.

We really doubt about the professional of their services, and would recommend to avoid.

Absolutely would not use this service again. They came out to assess our dishwasher, we were told that this was an issue that could not easily be fixed and that it was more cost effective to buy a new machine. When we asked them to provide a report, they refused to provide either the written report or the engineers registration number so we were unable to claim from the original retailer. The enigineer that came around was nice enough but given that we had paid £84 and they had spent less than 5 minutes assessing the machine, I think this is a very poor service. Having read other reviews, this seems to be a trend and very scammy...

Yes started off okay £74 call out for large fridge freezer then when I spoke to one of the team when they checked my model that was £94 to come out and within that fee they will come and repair the broken item of fridge freezer
That would have been okay
However guy comes around, looking like he was off the street and after helping to get large fridge/freezer out of opening within two minutes he condemned my £1000 plus refrigerator (around7/8 years old) and said your compressor has gone and no one fixes it because of cost, time etc
I questioned him and said you cannot be serious that you don’t replace an integral part of a fridge/freezer? He double down and said I would t find anywhere that would do it
He left within 5 minutes telling me take my fridge to the tip! How insulting
Lo and behold the first company I telephoned, Domex repair compressors
So now I am suing this company for misrepresentation as they have not fulfilled their obligation of repairing my fridge/freezer for monies I had paid plus parts

Don't go with this company! I waiting all day for an engineer that turned up with a backpack and in a car. Look e at the oven for half an hour to tell me what I had already told the company! Then he said they would be in contact and ran out the door! Utterly shocking service and when they open tomorrow I will requesting a full refund.

An Update, I have just gone to turn on the grill that was functioning before the engineer attended! Now the appliance is completely dead and doesn't function. And when I switched it on it shorted the power in my house! Unbelievable poor practice and this is completely unacceptable!

Update, I have been on the phone with the "director" this morning. After the support agent called "Zak" told me that he is just admin staff the MD told me that he is a "service manager". The Director said that he would not do anything without a report, which is fair enough. However, on the call was aggressive and used phrases like "Oh My Days" when challenged on a point. Calls are not recorded with this business and they are calling customers from their devices!

Update: Another call from Jacob who claims to be the company director. Offered a Full refund, but when he was questioned on the damage that the business was responsible for he at first said that he was doing everything he could do. I advised that I would like someone out to assess the damage, which is a standard process, he refused and said aggressively that he doesn't have anyone in the southeast of London???? He then offered £30 as compensation, which is insulting for the potential damage that could have been caused. He also said the engineer said that he didn't damage it and he couldn't take my word over his. After back and forth for 20 minutes, he then told me that it was pointless giving me anything as I'll just give him a bad review anyway. Then told me to email in to process the refund and he would look into the further assistance.

Further update: 24 hours have passed since the refund was promised by the business. No action has been taken, no contact has been made. They are playing games not only with customers safety.

Another disappointing update: I have been forced to file a complaint with Trading Standards for the unbelievably poor service by this business and lack of resolution. But they have also refused to process a SAR request for my information, so I have also had to file a complaint with the ICO.

This is a business with very little integrity for your safety and protection pay to go with someone else. Avoid this business!

Update: 5 Days later still no refund! No contact! There is not a single positive thing I can say about this business in any way!

Took over 2 weeks to get the refund and it wasn't from them, I had to provide my bank with the communication from them and process a charge back! Do yourself a favor and go with a business that so you are protected using not a backstreet firm that lies on their website of 35 years experience when the owner is only 29 years old, as it states on companies house!

Businesses like this need better regulation in place, protect yourselves and go with someone that's first port of call is not to scam you!

July 9th 2026 Update: Repair Giant are now trying to flag bad reviews to try and get them removed. Please go with someone else and protect yourselves against this business; they are even trying to mislead you by trying to get people bad experience removed from this platform. As you can see, this review is credible as it's still on the platform

Terrible service. I had an error code on my dishwasher saying it had a blocked pipe or pump. They came round first and said the issue was fixed (it wasn’t) so came a second time and checked the inside of the dishwasher. After me insisting they need to pull the dishwasher out and check all pipes and the pump the engineer said it was fixed and he ran a short cycle to suggest it worked. Him being an engineer i believed him. 2 washes later the dishwasher still wasn’t draining so I called and asked them to come back and properly check everything. The person I spoke to on the phone was so rude and just constantly spoke over me refusing to have someone come
And check it and said I would have to pay again. The person on the phone wouldn’t listen to me and insisted the pump had been checked when i watched the engineer and nothing was pulled out properly to check all pipes and pumps. Now going to have to pay another company to come and check. Complete waste of money and time.

Good work come on time.

DO NOT USE THESE COWBOYS. They will rip you off by charging you £75 call out fee upfront, then just waffle you what the problem is with out testing anything. Then they will over charge by 500% for parts and add on parts you don't even need. Me and my son had a look at the tumble dryer ourselves and found it was something jammed that was stopping it turning. Not a capacitor or a new motor like we were told that the report stated. Avoid these cowboys, do not give them your money.

They take your money but don't ultimately want to fix your appliance. Engineer said he needed a new part, then heard nothing at all for 2 weeks and when I chase am told that parts would probably be too expensive to make it worthwhile fixing, although he was unable to actually give me a price on what the replacement parts would cost.

Biggest scam ever - AVOID
They take £104 and never turn up for the appointment and you can not get hold of them. DON'T USE .......

I book repair giant to repair my dishwasher.

During the call I told them my dishwasher is 10 yrs old, from IKEA and a brand called Ignis, I explained them what was wrong , operator was so kind and nice and assure me they will repair it. I paid £76.80 and engineer came 2 days later, spend less then 2 mins in my kitchen and said it that my dishwasher’ pump needs to change . It is out of production but they can find the part. Later on they confirmed the same in later and refuse to return at least some part of the fee I paid

I believe they book the appointments even though they know the machine is out of production and can’t find the parts to make wuick and easy money!!! Be aware of them!

Paid this Repair Giant £120 for engineer to repair my cooker. He could not repair it. Took 3 weeks of chasing by phone before Jason finally verbally provided me with a vastly overpriced quote for the part. I pulled him up on this and he muttered nonsense about it costing this much for the part warranty???? He refused to email or post me the quote, and refused to provide his full name. Really poor customer services. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Absolutely dreadful company. Overcharging for spare parts, up to 5 times the price of the part available. No customer service to be speak of.

AVOID AVOID AVOID! Absolute cowboy company! We (unfortunately) decided to call them after the heating element in our oven broke & they had such good reviews (debatable if real customers actually wrote them) -we paid the £77 call out fee in advance for them to come out and tell us that our heating element needed replacing (which we already told them). That was fine until they told us that the cost for the part would be £96+VAT!!! Absolute jokers - these parts cost around £15 - £20 so when we challenged the price, we were informed that in included ‘warranty’? Well all new parts come with warranty anyway so this seemed quite ridiculous - we informed them that we didn’t want the warranty, just the £15 part. The person on the other end of the phone obviously does not know how to talk to customers - we asked for a refund for the call out charge and the rude person, after firstly talking over us the entire conversation, hung up! AVOID AVOID AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Our neighbours used another company who charged £130 for call out & new part replacement so it’s quite clear these guys are just out to rip people off DO NOT USE. I will be reporting them also

Terrible! I paid for my oven to be fixed. The engineer was friendly and professional but didn't have the spare part so had to order it. I got a call from an impatient person telling me that it would cost £96 + VAT and take 3 to 5 business days and insisting for me to pay straight away over the phone (I had to pay for the visit upfront as well with the card details over the phone, which is really not secure). I told him to wait and I found the same piece, the original one, on the manufacturer website, for £35 (including VAT) and next day delivery. When I call back, the person who spoke to me was really rude and told me that their price is higher because they add "warranty" to it and if I bought the piece myself I would have to pay for another call-out, even though the first one was supposed to cover the entire work. He told me that this was stated on their Terms and Conditions on the website but we do not accept the T&Cs upon making the payment. Looking at the T&Cs, it seems reasonable that they would be responsible for buying the piece, but when it costs ALMOST THREE TIMES the official price, it becomes very clear why. Absolutely disappointed and will attempt to fix it myself or hire someone else to add the piece.
