Having entered Richard's mens group with no prior connection, I was immediately made to feel very welcomed into this intimate group of like minded, growth orientated men, all striving to become their best versions.

It had been a good 5/6 years since I had previously briefly been a part of a mens group - which was my first experience of delving underneath the surface of things, and triggered a thirst for knowledge. However I had stopped attending this after the shift to online meetings only during the challenging Covid period.

In recent times, I have really sensed how I'm missing that sense of shared connection, commitment and intimate growth in self-discovery, with added accountability for actions, which is all so valuable in the modern, complicated and stressful world.

After undertaking some research online for various avenues, I was immediately drawn to Richard's message and background story as a successful professional from the the corporate world.. I have attended 5 sessions so far, and have been highly impressed with Richard's delivery, articulacy, evident deep personal awareness, and emotional/spiritual maturity.

This energy radiates strongly around, and I have also been fostering positive connections with the regular attendees of the bi-weekly meet ups, which has been invaluable.

The meetings are thoughtfully structured, impactful and I always leave with a greater sense of meaning as to who I am, my personal values, and what I want from this life. We have so far covered some fascinating topics and I am certainly excited to continue this journey.

As I am going through a very challenging time financially - striving to make self employment work and pay the bills, I am benefitting from the overall support of the group and cannot recommend it enough to anyone looking for such an outlet to work through difficult periods, or just generally to remain securely on the right path!

I particularly enjoy the face to face aspect of things, as it is held in a perfectly quiet and peaceful little venue in Dulwich, which does feel comfortable and appropriate.

I would whole-heartedly recommend Richard's services as a life coach, retreat specialist and mens group facilitator to any man interested in such work. You will not regret the choice.

I have been sitting in a men's group with Richard for the past 18 months and recently attended his Rising Man Retreat which was a transformational experience for me.
I have tried a few different therapies and retreats, but this work feels like the real deal. Within the safe environment Richard is able to create, I have been able to explore stuff that has kept me stuck in life for many years and start to let it go. It has also been incredibly healing to do this work supported and witnessed by other men and helped me to feel less alone.
Richard is a gifted and skilful facilitator. He brings a wealth of personal experience from his own healing and leads the work with strength and heartfelt compassion. I have just spent the weekend at The Rising Man Retreat, Sailsbury, with Richard Cuevas, his team and a group of wonderful men. Men previously unknown to me, who I now consider friends.

Richard and his colleagues, had organised and facilitated a weekend for men wanting to take a short break from the daily grind, to spend some time on themselves.

What a weekend it was. To start with the Rising Man Retreat is something of a fairytale in its own right. A group of beautifully designed wooden buildings nestled in the heart of an ancient wood. A place of peace and beauty that slows the mind and calms the soul.

I’m a lucky guy with a good life. But I wanted to slow things down a little. Find some space to reflect. Think about my priorities in life.

Richard and his team arranged and lead two magical days that gave me what I was looking for. They enabled our group to looking inside, and share their thoughts and feelings in a safe space.

Our time together was well structured, encouraging increasingly deep exploration of issues important to each of use. Sometimes light and interesting, sometimes moving and profound. Always insightful. Always of value.

It’s a week since visiting the retreat and it’s had quite an impact on me. I feel a greater sense of calm and am much clearer about my own needs.

Thank you Richard. For your professionalism; your wisdom; your deep sense of caring; and of course your smile and kind sense of humour. Let me know when you organise another one. I’ll be there.

There are numerous retreats out there, but what made me elect this one was that Richard was really looking out for me from the first call, genuinely caring that things were ok with me and my life.
That made me feel that this was not just about a weekend, but about a man who is willing to help you.
The methodology he uses is fantastic; he can read each of the participants with the help of Rob, and lead you to understand and see what those things are that are in your unconscious that are preventing you from evolving as a man.

Richard’s weekend retreat surpassed all expectations, it was truly transformational. To experience such personal shifts in one’s self and be the witness to the others on the weekend was so powerful and connective. Having gone through some difficult times in my life, I came to a point where I had lost myself and I was stuck with grief of loved ones, a cancer journey, depression and relationship difficulties, I needed some type of support, Guidance an impactful event to help me pull through and feel me again. I met Richard over a year ago when I started attending the South London Men's Group which he facilitates and I also did a 6 week group coaching programme with him. Meeting Richard and doing this work with other men has been transformational for me. Working in groups, particularly with other men, brings up a lot of fear for me but Richard creates a very safe environment and this has allowed me to explore and experiment with being vulnerable with other men. He's kind, sensitive and very experienced in facilitating this work. I have learnt so much about myself and grown in confidence as I have started to accept parts of me that I have rejected in the past.
I am so grateful to have met Richard and found this group and would highly recommend working with him.

My coaching with Rich lasted around 9 months and was truly life changing. I'd experienced performance coaching and mentoring before, but nothing really clicked for me until I met Rich.
