Great experience with my car sale to Riviera. Riz was easy to deal with and John who collected the car is a fantastic guy, super knowledgeable and utterly honest and trustworthy. Recommend them unreservedly.

Sold my truck through Carwow to riviera. Was a quick smooth process and communication was very quick and collection was made at a time that worked for me. Pricing was very competitive and payment was quick. John was great when collecting the truck. Would recommended the company and John himself. Thank you.

I recently enquired about a BMW X5 and a Land Rover Discovery with Chris and asked whether I should book an appointment for a test drive. I was told there was no need and that I could simply turn up.

That weekend, while on my way over, I called ahead and was told Chris wasn’t in and that nobody would be able to assist or offer a test drive. A short while later I received a call back saying it would actually be possible, so I continued on.

When I arrived, I was able to test drive the X5, but the Discovery wouldn’t even start.

Jon provided finance quotes, and on the Tuesday I messaged to say I was interested. I received no response, so I called Chris and was asked to send over my part exchange details. Because my car is an import, they mentioned it the system had difficulty valueing it (despite VC all correct), but from that point onward I had to chase regulalry for updates.

By Thursday lunch, Chris told me he would get everything sorted and “over the line” that afternoon. I heard nothing that day and nothing on Friday either.

On Saturday I called again. Chris wasn’t in, so I spoke with Joe, (Manager?). I explained the situation and was told the same about the part exchange valuation. I then offered to put down a cash deposit instead to secure the car. Joe said he would sort it, but called back five minutes later to tell me the car had been sold that morning.

After spending an entire week chasing and making it very clear that I wanted to buy the vehicle, this was incredibly frustrating.

Joe said he would look into what went wrong and come back to me on Sunday or Monday. It’s now Wednesday and I’ve still heard nothing.

To make matters worse, the car is still listed online as available for sale.

Very disappointing experience. I was ready to buy but had to chase every step of the process. If this is the level of service when someone is trying to buy a car, it doesn’t inspire much confidence in the support you’d receive after the sale.

I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

Absolutely fantastic. Cannot recommend Riviera Automotive enough. Also, the Vehicle Assessor John. He was very professional, yet friendly! Do not hesitate to use this garage.

I recently sold my Audi A5 to Riviera through Carwow. Good communication and very professional. On the day of collection I was put at ease by the car assessor, John who was very down to earth and easy to talk to and fair in his assessment. He made the experience a lot less stressful than I was expecting!

Jon could not have been more helpful, without a hint of pressure. In a showroom with some outstanding vehicles my purchase was definitely at the lower end, but I was made to feel welcome and an appreciated customer.
Nothing was too much trouble, all questions were answered quickly and fully- often before I had thought of them!

I always wait 6 months+ before reviewing a new car, for obvious reasons....but this car (Audi R8 Mythos Black)has been flawless in every possible way.....it has been like driving a brand new car from day 1 !. Quite possibly the most stunning vehicle I've ever driven. The attention one gets when driving this car is unbelievable...
The service received from the staff was impeccable, although i had a small issue with the warranty company, but that was unrelated to Riviera, who called to make sure i was ok regardless.
All round, 10/10 company 👍

I had contacted Riviera Automotive as I had seen a GLC43 that I was in love with, unfortunate that it got sold the day I called but when I spoke with Chris and said if any other GLC was due in I’d be interested that same day my luck was in. Start to finish I was updated daily, any questions I had were answered very promptly. I work in the offshore environment so it was a stressful week also trying to sort a car purchase but I had not one experience of stress and everything flowed perfectly and they were able to have it delivered up to Aberdeen for me. Could not recommended Chris and the team more and have already spoke highly of them to friends and colleagues. Thank you very much again I am in love with my new GLC purchase. Amanda

John arrived to assess my car and was such a great guy to talk to about cars and all things in general. He was extremely thorough in his work and I can see why he’s a trusted knowledgeable professional.
From start to finish, couldn’t recommend them enough and took the stress out of the sale for me at a time when personally less stress is a welcome change!!

Brilliant seamless experience from start to finish. We went quickly from initially reserving the car through to delivery, and every step was handled expertly by knowledgeable and friendly staff. Very impressed

I went to look at some cars and was looking around the yard, most of the cars were damaged. I was approached by a member of staff and when i had a some questions was advised he doesn't know much about them.
I was then told someone would come and help me but surprisingly no one turned up after waiting 15 minutes.
I am actually happy i did not purchase a car from here after looking at the state of the cars they had parked there.
Avoid!!

John arrived to collect my M2 and we had a good chat while he checked the car over and got the paperwork sorted. He was friendly and easy to deal with, exactly the kind of person you want when selling your pride and joy.

Des menteurs, des voleurs, un service déplorable : une honte pour un garage qui vend des Mercedes. Une fois la voiture achetée, on a l’impression qu’on vous jette presque les clés au visage, et s’ajoutent ensuite de nombreux frais cachés.

Honteux pour un garage de la Riviera. À éviter absolument : mieux vaut se tourner vers Lausanne ou le Valais.
