I have just moved all my web sites and 18 domain names to ROBTEC Hosting and am delighted with how easy Roberto made this process. I have halved the cost of web hosting compared to my old provider and the websites are loading significantly faster. I am also saving approximately $125 on annual domain registration fees. Keep up the good work!

Robtec = Phenomenal service and awesome hosting. If you have any questions nothing is too much trouble for them. All Aussie based too and superb prices. Very responsive with any queries and the online live chat is fantastic. All the other 5 star reviews are bang on.

Helpful, friendly and understanding

Without hesitation, ROBTEC are your go-to host provider and a whole lot more. The team are exceptionally professional, trustworthy and first-class when it comes to timely communication. Stop looking for a host provider, head over to ROBTEC now!

Very prompt service after normal business hours setting up a new account and transferring the website from the previous hosting provider. Keep up the good work!

An excellent service, Rob is great at quick responses and meets our needs for our business Just Auslan. We are delighted with this service.

Duration with Robtec so far: 2 months.

Support: all tickets solved properly.

Control panel: Directadmin has been perfectly fine, it seems to be a reasonable replacement for cpanel. The default folder scheme is a bit annoying (~/domains/x) but that's about all I can find wrong.

Email: Robtec has a fallback routing/sending provider (relay.estela.cloud) for when things go bad, albeit I've not yet seen how effective this is yet. Time will tell.

Access: I requested SSH access (I have a special requirement) and it's working well. My only complaint is needing a keepalive flag. Bonus points to Robtec for setting up a nice coloured PS1 prompt (none of the other shared hosting providers I've been on have done that).

Customer portal: Simpler than some other providers and I don't mind it. Features that are in Directadmin (eg DNS zone editing and file browsing) are NOT duplicated in the customer portal. No annoying link-on-text-is-different-to-background issues like I have with some other providers. All pretty good.

Price: brilliant, I'd be happy to pay a bit more.

Misc: A little bit disappointed that there is no VPS hosting, but that's probably an intentional business decision. I'll stick to my old provider for my VPS for now.

Why and how I moved to Robtec:

I left my previous shared hosting provider because its ip addresses were getting blacklisted for outgoing email and they decided they didn't care about fixing it any more. I use shared hosting for my personal email and personal blog (not mass mailing) so having working email is crucial to daily life.

My choice ended up being between DreamIThost (not to be confused with DreamHost) and Robtec. They both claim to have good outgoing email infrastructure. After trying each out I was impressed with both (or at least I couldn't fine any deal breakers with either).

Choosing is hard, so I moved a colleague's site onto DreamIThost and my own onto Robtec. We shall see which prevails >:D
