Have to put one star as can't put zero stars, first off I really rated this place and spent a lot of time shopping in this place until today.
how the owner can accuse a child of stealing in front of a shop full of customers is beyond me, my boy was accused of taking a hand full of clips that they sell in bags and the only two clips he found on the floor he gave to me (while I was sitting at the cafe) the owner accused my son of stealing and asked me to check his pockets and bag (nothing was in them) I done this in front of everyone in the shop and the two clips that he gave to me I gave to the owner and said he found them on the floor. The owner will only show me CCTV if they call the police, nothing was stolen they obviously didn't like my youngest looking and touching the models or our faces didn't fit in there fancy shop

Antwoord van Rochester RC (Business Closed)
We are deeply troubled to encounter your assertions, which appear to lack substantiation. It is disheartening to observe such misrepresentations and apparent neglect of the gravity of these allegations.
In our commitment to transparency and truth, we wish to remind you that our premises are equipped with 12 state-of-the-art cameras, each strategically positioned to ensure comprehensive coverage. These cameras record in 4K resolution and are capable of capturing audio, leaving no area unmonitored.
With regard to the incident in question, we have meticulously compiled all relevant data. This evidence unequivocally shows that at no point did we hinder your access to the footage. It also documents our courteous interaction with your husband, during which we requested a check of your child's pockets.
The video clearly demonstrates that this request was not fulfilled in our presence, with a mere verbal assurance provided instead. Despite this, we chose to deescalate the situation, considering the nature of the items involved and avoiding undue confrontation at the time.
However, in light of your decision to escalate this matter, we have engaged our legal representatives and are preparing to take appropriate action with the authorities. Our evidence, both visual and auditory, substantiates our position.
We urge you to carefully reconsider your next steps. It is important to bear in mind the potential consequences that may arise and the impact they could have on your family.
In closing, we extend our sincere wishes for the well-being and happiness of your family. It is with regret that we observe the current circumstances and the unintended legal implications they may impose on you.
We had hoped for a resolution based on mutual understanding, but we respect the legal process and are prepared to proceed accordingly.
Respectfully,
Rochester RC

Everything an rc shop should be !!
I went in to ask for help with a task I’d not hoped to have , rehoming the collection of a sadly departed friend , Will was fantastic he offered advice and a solution and will not know how much he helped!! I am previously a regular customer of the original owner of the shop and this is my go to place but the way I was treated highlights what’s missing in this hobby and that’s the human touch , in an online world it’s easy to simply shop on price but you cannot buy what will , his wife and their awesome team deliver daily !!!!

Goods not received
I never received my item and asked them for support as the courier explained the seller needed to contact them. They have ignored my emails for over a month - I got 1 reply that said they are not responsible for Royal Mail loosing my package - I am now claiming this charge through the bank.

Nothing is too much trouble.
A great range of products and a lot cheaper than other RC stores. If they haven't got what you want in stock they will go out of their way to source it for you. A brilliant family run business that I will be using again.
