Unfortunately, we didn't trust Martyn G anymore, so we terminated his services. He seemed okay initially but then:
1) he lied to us [which I told him without hesitation at the time],
2) the itemised billing didn't line up with the number of times he was required to contact a particular third party [I queried this, he said it is done automatically, but the bill seemed very wrong. He ended up giving us back £200 but we still had to pay over £1500, which I don't think was justified]
3) there was also a data breach.
4) It appeared he was no longer working for us at one point
To make matters worse, we kindly told him at the beginning that we weren't going to use his services, but he requested to work on our case and then disappointed us, terribly. Next time, I will go with my initial decision.

Rochelle and Sally at Rohan did great with the conveyancing for our house sale, always available and approachable to explain everything during the process.

We recently purchased our first home using Rohan Solicitors. Rochelle and the property team were brilliant throughout the process and we would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a conveyancing solicitor!

After relocating from the North down to Haywardsheath four years ago it was important for me to find a good local solicitor. Rohan solicitors were recommended to me by an existing client. Over the years they have undertaken various pieces of work for me and have just completed a complicated legal piece of work which took some time to conclude which was with the land registry which have an enormous back log of work and it was a lengthy timely process. They have on all occasions delivered an excellent service in being responsive, professional, knowledgeable and efficient. If you are looking for a good solicitor i have no hesitation in recommending Rohan solicitors they are together a very good team and i thank them for the work that they have done for me in the past. I have used Rohan’s for several different matters over the years. Recently Rochelle and Linsey helped with a difficult business transaction. The team were fantastic every step of the way always taking time to explain terms I wasn’t understanding and extremely professional at every stage. Would I recommend this firm - yes 100%

So happy with our experience with David Lloyd. We are (or were!) first time buyers and purchased a flat which ended up taking an extremely long time. David kept his cool throughout, always being a calming presence for us. He was responsive and reliable which made the process feel a little easier. He didn't make me or my partner feel stupid at all, and no question was too big or too small. Really appreciate the service, and for such a reasonable price! We will definitely be using Rohan and David Lloyd again in the future.

Unfortunately I would not recommend Rohan Solicitors for conveyancing. Very poor / vague communication, frequent mistakes (including on legal documents) and a data breach where I received another clients document and details.

Following the arrival of my daughter Lorna’s settlement from her former employer, I just wanted to put on record the support Rohan Solicitors have given her.

This is not the first time they have been able to provide some very robust assistance – when she went to purchase her first flat the solicitors that she was using were closed down by the SRA and Rohan worked hard to retrieve all the documents from that firm as well as the money that I had paid them on her behalf.

Over the years I've had no hesitation in not only using Rohan for our own domestic matters but also referring my adult children on to them when they have required any type of assistance.

In my many years dealing with solicitors, Rohan are the only firm I've dealt with who combine empathy with legal efficiency and do so personably and with diligence.

All of that is a rare commodity nowadays and I very much appreciate it.

Really enjoyed working with Martyn. His energetic confidence and clear competence helped us diffuse and resolve a difficult boundary situation. This was enhanced by his strong relationship management with all stakeholders. He always had his eye on this objective so we never felt he was anything but putting our interests first. Having used several different firms of solicitor for a variety of transactions over the past 6 months, Emily at Rohan Solicitors has been head and shoulders above the others. Her prompt responses and professionalism have been very much appreciated and I look forward to working with her again in the future.

Absolutely would not recommend, quite possible the most incapable firm I’ve had to deal with. Got the job done in the end but have had to chase at every single stage, poor communication, slow replies to emails (multiple days later after calling as well.) Exchange date passed with no explanation or communication, again had to call to ask what was happening and ended up speaking to the seller directly (their solicitors had also no communication). Took Rohan an additional two days for them to reassign file to another solicitor (after more chasing). Disappointing as I was recommended them by local estate agent but would have made no difference using a firm that wasn’t local. Unfortunately a terrible experience and would not recommend for house sale / purchase.

Emily and Reina were amazingly efficient in helping me purchase my first home. Whenever I had any queries or sent them any relevant information they were on the case immediately and I rarely waited over an hour for a response! They were kind and professional especially when I was completely clueless. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

This was an issue that involved complications which as a former solicitor I know were very unusual and comple. It was was dealt with expeditiously within the constraints of the problem and professionally. I was kept informed regularly and questions answered speedily.

Could not have asked for more support during our recent transaction which wasn’t always easy or straightforward. Linsey and Rochelle.. Calm, proactive and always professional. Even took all my phone calls !
