Philly Labor Day 5k and 10k
The event promised a secure place to store possessions around the finish area. But this was not the case on race day. The wait for the bib up pick was fairly long as only two people were handing out bibs. We were instructed we could only take two food items after the race. The event was very late in communicating when bib pick up would be (about a week before the race). When I e-mailed to find out, I was given information, which later changed. Pretty sure the time of the race changed from 8 to 7:30 along the way too. Just bad communication and organization from this race. There was a free 5k portion to this race and I guess I could tell it was free. I paid for a 10k though so would have hoped for some more dedicated resources. The first mile of the race was very poorly measured. But seemed to shake itself out by the end. Would not do this race again.

Another really well organized event. This is my 2nd RunThrough race. Course was well marked and aid stations were well stocked and manned. Course was savage haha but incredible. Finish line feels were really great too - thanks to the guy on the mic (sorry didn't catch his name)!

Well organized, beautiful route, with one major drawback that I think needs to be changed: the climb up the road (no path) to Hoberrickenbach with cars (dangerous)!

Be prepared the hill climbs are brutal. But I can’t fault the aid stations the fruit the snacks and especially the fizzy coke went down a treat. Very well organised with the red flags and marshals were all lovely. I would say I’m not a fan of the wooden medal but each to their own.

This was my first ever trail run at Chopwell Woods and although the setting was beautiful I was left bitterly disappointed. After getting to the 4K marker and then pushing hard towards the finish around 12 of us were redirected the wrong way into the woods and were completely lost. We ended up doing 8.5k and not even passing the finish line and it was quite unnerving being on my own for some of the time until I found another lady in the same position.

Even when we did eventually find a Marshall they didn’t seem to know how we could get back to the Event Village.

I have emailed to explain what happened and had no reply or apology.

Great races, well organised with good medals and other treats at the finish. Suitable for all levels or ability and experience.

My first 10K race ever was the Henley River event on 30 August. Everything was really well organised, from the information provided beforehand to the running of the day. I really enjoyed that there was a warm up organised prior to the run, the staff were all really helpful and friendly. The only thing that would have been good would be to have distance markers through the event.

Derby 10k

A really well organised event and great race village. Although I do feel at £29 it’s one of the more expensive 10km events.

The one thing letting it down is overcrowding on the course. The quicker 10km runners has to deviate dangerously at times between the 5k runners particularly on the out and back section. The event has clearly out grown the course. Needs reduction in the number of 5km runners or moving it to a different time. It’s going to be inevitable an accident will occur.

The Regent's Park 5K/10K race on August 24 was an impressively well-run event. Everything was thoughtfully organized, with something to offer for every type of runner—whether you were chasing a personal best with the help of pacers or simply soaking up the fun atmosphere with music cheering you on. The pre-race stretching session was another great touch that set the tone for a positive experience.

The Chepstow racecourse half marathon was excellent and I'll enter next year's and organised good and all emails from run through was excellent about all marathons

Lovely supportive atmosphere to run my first race. I’ve been to a few races now as a supporter and they are well organised well supported events, but this was even better run by all women for women . Brilliant Event

RunThrough’s Leeds Half Marathon, August 2025, was my first ever running event and I cannot fault the organisers - they did an excellent job.
Their communication, be that pre-event emails, on-the-day announcements or post-event congratulations and advice were great. They kept me informed every step of the way and I was never in any doubt as to where to go, when or what came next.
The course was well signposted with all the officials, be that the announcer, pacers or Marshalls, were excellent; providing enthusiastic encouragement and occasional banter that made you feel part of a family that were rooting for you to succeed.
This may have been my first run, but with RunThrough as my guide I’m hopeful it won’t be my last. Thank you for a wonderful fun day.

This was my first RunThrough event and I was very impressed. The event was well organised and managed throughout, and the atmosphere on event day was fantastic. I ran the Brecon Beacons 51K and the route was excellent. I will definitely be looking to book another event via RunThrough in the future.

I completed the Newark half marathon, my first ever. It was all very well organised with expected times, clearly separated and clearly identifiable pacers. All the Marshalls were lovely, encouraging and friendly. The route was clearly signposted. Water stations were placed great and they were all very friendly handing out the water whilst going along. Nice medal and free snacks at the end went down a treat. Stretching area was good to sea. Liked the bell and the posters for photo opportunities. First but maybe not last ?

I paid extra to have the race number posted out. It didn’t arrive. I raised this prior to the event and found the response lacklustre. It still hasn’t arrived after the event (ie the pack wasn’t late, I suspect it was never sent). I’ve asked for a refund of the extra I paid for postage, and 3 working days later I’ve still had no response.
I’ve seen the company reply to a few poor reviews on here and sound very reasonable in this public forum. It’s a shame they don’t bother with that approach on one-to-one interactions.
Running is my main hobby and I could see myself doing lots of these events, but there’s no way I’m risking dealing with these people again.

Re response: Yes you have (apparently) processed my refund - but only once I chased you. Best avoided.

Great follow-up. I recently had cause to complain as due to a marshalling area I was sent on a large detour during a trail race, which led me to post a 1 star review. However, RT made personal contact with me immediately and gave great service, including a full apology and free entry to another event of my choosing. Things can always go wrong, but I am very impressed with how this was dealt with.
