Very well organised. Superb Kent countryside run.

Worked for run-through at this event.
Work was advertised on indeed for x amount and after being let go early with no option to stay, ended up getting half the fee.
More pressingly, the event was incredibly dangerous for some marshalls who were left in the middle of nowhere to deal with the public who were incredibly angry, aggressive and ill-informed about the event. The signage was poor which meant we were alone in having to tell people that they were unable to advance leading to cars pushing past us and driving at speed alongside the runners on what was meant to be a closes road.
You're paid up to 14 working days after the event, which naturally meant you were paid on the 14th day after the event, which is fine.
Just know what you're getting into. Don't put your life at risk for a company that isn't going to pay you what they'd advertised in the first place.

Loved the race and the vibes!

Entered the Hamsterley Half Marathon on 28th September 2025. Great event and fantastic route. Would recommend to others.

This is my 4th event with run through and it’s always well organised and the route clearly labelled.
Negative comment on the Swindon 1/3 marathon - there were cyclists trying to get through the runners. Also round the coate water end section you had to avoid the supporters as they were crowding the route.

I’ve been running with runthrough basically from when the company started always put on a great race runthrough trails now is amazing. Well organised volunteers are great. Races are priced good. Pit stops are great . Overall positive experience

Runthrough event are run by beautiful and kind people, you feel welcoming all the time.

Super company- did a 50 mile Ultramarathon with them in the most awful weather and felt really supported on the course by their aid station crew and marshalls on the route. Super encouraging and great communication pre-race. Only minor thing was conflicting/confusing information regarding the cut-off time for the race, which was clarified on the day, and there was no email with tracking link sent out beforehand - otherwise would be 5 stars! Apart from this, super experience on a very bad weather day! Would definitely do another of their races and recomend!

Well organised race, plenty of help needed if you required any assistance, great atmosphere start well organised not a free for all when gun goes off, lots of marshalls on the course cheerful and encouraging you, water stations plenty on the half marathon course, locals came out to support offering drinks and jelly beans!! Cool medal at finish all in all great day and the sun shining

I was really happy with the event. Everything was very well organised, the atmosphere was fantastic, and I really enjoyed taking part in the half marathon. The route was well marked and easy to follow, the volunteers were amazing and very supportive, and the crowd created a great energy throughout the race. The water stations were well placed and everything ran smoothly.

Well organised. The whole event was brilliant from getting to the event village to the finish line all the volunteers and staff were amazing. Will be doing another race through this guys again hopefully in the near future

Takes forever to reply. Never improving customer care, extremely disappointing refund options and not a landline number to provide. Not happy at all. You can’t even close and delete the account. Totally robotic and commercial attitude no sportive at all.

Great day and a great experience, was very well staffed and catered for there on the day. Well done to those all involved in any way.

I live in Smallfield and run a local page on Facebook. Today was horrendous, cyclists all over the roads, overtaking into oncoming traffic , up to four or five abreast , no attempt at road etiquette or safety and shouting at disgruntled drivers for having the sheer audacity of trying to drive legally and properly. Many complaints were put on our page , if you are going to want to hold this event again you will come up against stiff opposition from the locals who were abused and had to put up with their sheer entitlement and reckless unsafe ,riding.

Philly Labor Day 5k and 10k
The event promised a secure place to store possessions around the finish area. But this was not the case on race day. The wait for the bib up pick was fairly long as only two people were handing out bibs. We were instructed we could only take two food items after the race. The event was very late in communicating when bib pick up would be (about a week before the race). When I e-mailed to find out, I was given information, which later changed. Pretty sure the time of the race changed from 8 to 7:30 along the way too. Just bad communication and organization from this race. There was a free 5k portion to this race and I guess I could tell it was free. I paid for a 10k though so would have hoped for some more dedicated resources. The first mile of the race was very poorly measured. But seemed to shake itself out by the end. Would not do this race again.
