Safaricom PLC Reviews 

We came to Kenya and immediately bought safari com sim cards. We loaded up on internet and mpesa mobile money. Same day my phone was blocked. I didn't have access to my phone, internet and money for 5 days (due to travel and holiday schedule). As it turned out some company gives credit through safari com and they can block your phone but they don't have live information about phone numbers so they blocked me because someone else owed them money. Safari didn't offer anything to make this right

Safaricom is the worse company ive ever delt with....i lost 30k and wat did they say just SORRY......its being operated with thieves who work in that company and just accept it..... please take your money out of safaricom asap and im trying to warn as many people as possible not to go through wat I've been through...... safaricom.plc you're thieves and take any opportunity you get not SAFARICOM FOR YOU 🚮🚮 Please run guys i don't know how to explain more i just wanna protect u so that u don't go wat i went through....... just my honest opinion

Very poor customer service. Just a statemwnt may take hours of refferal till you give up. Poorly trained with no mind in solving the issue as some are even clueless on what you are asking them

Female manager standing in for Manager who was away, on Saturday 11 November, strictly needs more customer relations training...knowing I was seated to speak to whoever was in charge, she walks about talking on her phone right next to me! rude! then terminates her call and comes to the desk and asks me what the issue is. I said: I will tell you in a minute. First of all who am i speaking to? belieivng her to be the stand in Manager, and she had no name tag to show. She refused to divulge her name until I told her my name. She then gave me her name. How unprofessional! Not a smile on her face, like a grouch! she then said: you dont walk into someone's house and demand answers? I said this isnt your house, its a place of business! no answer, but in the end she wouldnt budge until I asked her to stay quiet for a minute while I spoke. I just think these young flighty persons employed by Safaricom who most times look like they arent doing much should be overhauled seriously, they do not understand that they only have a job because there are customers!! As she rabbited on without giving me an answer I was happy with, i stood up and walked off as I wasnt taking any more of her garbage!

Very veeeery disappointed with your customer care

It's the worst company I have known. I have used lines from different countries and Safaricom is worse. Their customer service behaves as if they doing a favour to you. They bully you until you give up and head to a different service provider.

I'm derigestering all my lines from safaricom

Safaricom employees are loyal and committed to serving all their customers. In addition, they have developed a mechanism of detecting frauds and reporting them to their clients on time. The continuing improvement in innovations is really amazing. I like safaricom generally 🙏.

A monopolistic company that has opted to take advantage of poor Kenyans. They will literally take every single chance they have to milk every single sent from their subscribers. They however get the job done. A fair internet speed and a strong network.

Very unreliable with slow internet. I pay Ksh 3699/- for a wifi router 4g monthly bundles that barely works for two weeks. It's frustrating and annoying.

Safaricom is the worst company I have ever had !!!

Among other things constantly informing me that I am low on data. When I tjek, it turns out not to be the fact !
Before I realised that I topped up for no reason, but lost money.

Other things.
Costumer care is amazingly bold with an attitude I have never experienced in my life !
Like the other day I entered the wrong pin code.
Then I had to use Puk, but couldn't remember that one. A friend told me to phone the customer service to open it and so I did.

They said to wait for 10 min, but we waited for 4,5 hours.
When I got through I told the lady about my situation...Then she suddenly slammed the phone before I had finished 😳.
ENOUGH with these dudes ☹️.

Thanks Safaricom another day wasted on U !

The Menu options are not comprehensive and you can hardly get through the customer care line to speak to a support person. I had problems with my M-pesa line and had transactions to make but could not get through for support. In one of the tries, i was on hold for more than 30 minutes before the line disconnected. Most horrible experience in my entire life.

I had a great experience. Living abroad in theU.k but safaricom never disappoints. Have made a call few minutes ago and was served by a lady by name GRACE and it was in the late night and she served me very professionally, took all her time to listen to my problem and she was extremely kind and gave the assistance she could. Congratulations Grace Otherwise nyinyi watu wa timiza if you won't credit my mpesa account with my timiza loan DON'T expect me to pay the loan PERIOD!

Worst service I've ever experienced. They have no control of third party retailers and the official employees have no genuine wish to help you. They service you by teaching you in a demeaning way. Furthermore, they are unbelieveably ineffective in store. So much waiting time. In store and for their telecom services to start working. Very unproffessional for a company with the tagline "For You".

It is for anything but the customer. So, so bad. Should be punished by the consumers. It will take a whole lot to make me think otherwise.
All this experienced in the official Nanyuki store. Things could be done way, way better. And they should.

I think it's pathetic. I've bought airtime from mpesa like three or 4 times now and I don't get the full airtime back..and it's not like I had any debt!
