Great experience with the Short Inca trail and Sacred Valley tour, both guides were excellent, knowledgeable and helpful. With great suggestions for local sites outside of the tour as well.

The two-day trip to sacred valley and Machu Picchu is really amazing. Our tour guide, Grober, is really professional and patient. He arranged everything very well and I don’t need to worry about the details, just enjoy the trip. His introduction about Inca civilization is very good and I enjoyed this trip very much!

Unbelievable experience from start to finish. Dayvit was a professional through and through, ensuring our experience from site to site went smoothly, and safely (shout out to Fortunado, our awesome driver).
They were flexible in us booking between different tours, and supportive throughout for any requests we had (pictures, food, hotels, etc). If you are looking for a tour and/or excursion - book with this company!

I am a solo traveller and have visited many countries. I have selected Machu Picchu to celebrate my 60th birth day. I am very fortunate and happy that I have selected Sam Travel. The company is excellent and extremely professional. Especially in communication, fairness meticulous planning etc. I am extremely happy and satisfied with Davit our guide who is so kind and patient: he was very patient explaining about trip one day before our day of the trip answering all my questions. During the tour he was very patient and kind to talk extensively about each and every place of interest. He was very knowledgeable too about Machu Picchu and Inca culture. The driver Fortunate too was too good with nice and safe driving and helping us with luggage everytime. I wish both davit and fortunate all the very best

David our tour guide and our driver Fortunato gave an epic tour of the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. David is super personable and put each of us first. He has tons of local, historical, and cultural knowledge. I would highly recommend!

Christian was an incredible guide - sharing everything about Inca history, the traditional trails and various ruins, and the cultural significances of Machu Picchu and Inca architecture in general (Incas were precise and intentional about every part of their design, looking to integrate into the natural environment). I came in knowing nothing and leaving much more educated on the rich Inca history and how the 1900’s discoveries/expeditions led to the experience were able to have today.

Sam travel in general was a super professional org, staying flexible with a small change in my travel plan I needed, being fully timely and communicative with every part of the logistics too. Would highly recommend them to anyone visiting!

This company trailered our trip specifically for an older dad and his daughter. Dad had done this hike before... 25 years before! Carlos was attentive to our skill level and was constantly vigilant as to our pace, energy level, and Spirits. His measured and slow/steady guidance made the physical part of the hike possible. And then his knowledge of Machu picchu was amazing... Don't do the machu picchu hike otherwise. Don't get out of your league unless you have this type of guide. The day goes so much better. AND, don't go into machu picchu without a knowledgeable guide like Carlos. Otherwise you will miss a lot

I did the Inca trail with SAM travel - everything went smoothly from the briefing right up to the drop off back to my accommodation in Cusco. Miguel (the guide) was very friendly, knowledgeable and I appreciate the experience so much. Even though it rained quite a lot during our hike, Miguel is always upbeat and optimistic - we were indeed rewarded with some great views when the clouds cleared up once in a while. I booked the tour online before coming to Peru and communication was smooth. We were a small group of 3, and despite that there were 8 porters coming with us so the service level is great.

The day is beyond our expectation. Carlos did a Fantastic job showing us Inca people’s philosophy and unbelievable constructions. Highly recommended.

We took the trek from Huaran to Lares hot springs. The entire group provided was incredible, from the porters to the chef and our guide Jorge. They were flexible with our wishes and let us turn the 3 days of hiking into 2. The history and cultural explanations throughout from visiting a remote village to a ceremony on top of the mountain made it very well rounded. The food was incredible and we never went hungry. Definitely would recommend this experience, they even helped us tour Machu Pichu even though we bought tickets for the train and entrance separately. Thanks a lot Sam Travel!!!

I did the 2 days Inca trail with my guide Liz Montesinos who’s a very good listener and answer all my questions and probably one of the best guide in Cusco region for the Machu Picchu anyway one of the best trip and hike and also I have seen in my life
