A very good experience nothing was to much trouble, information clearly given. The car was well presented, I would recommend Sandles to anyone.

recently just bought a new car, very friendly - Alex was very helpful, i loved the fact he was not pushy aloud me to ask all my questions. Very happy with my car so far thank you ALEX

Pretty disgusted with my whole experience with sandles car supermarket - I first approached them as I had seen a couple of cars online that were of interest and talking with the salesman Tom we went through figures on both of them.
I was very clear from the outset that I would be part exchanging a car that had negative equity. When the Finance figures came back, it was all taken into account with the negative equity to be transferred over and a cash lump sum that I would also be making which I agreed with and a full application was made and accepted.
I then transferred £300 to secure the car and was advised by Tom at that point to notify DVLA as I would want to take my private plate off of my current car so that a logbook would be with me by the pick up date 1st December. I also paid my insurance for an amendment to the policy and further paid my insurance company to transfer the policy for that date to the new car all at an expense to me.
This was all done on Friday, the 21st of November. - I received a phone call on Sunday 23rd November from Tom to advise me that they had made an error on the Finance application and hadn't taken into account the part exchange with negative equity and the figures were wrong - the revised figures were astronomical compared to other quotes that I've been having on other cars previously so he said that he would refund the £300 however I am now out of pocket by over £100 as I had to put my plate on retention and amend my insurance (twice as I had to cancel the switch date) because of their error on placing the Finance correctly
An absolute shambles -incredibly unprofessional and im gobsmacked that the blasé attitude of 'oh well it's one of those things' from Tom which has cost me over £100 - not even the offer of a goodwill gesture for their error and inability to submit a finance application correctly - which will also be registered against my name should another company carry out a search on another vehicle

Just seen the poor response below from sandles - a genuine mistake was made that shouldn’t have been as it was explained right at the outset - and Tom may take pride in his work but his attitude dis not reflect that - a poor response but expected from a poor overall experience

Great selection of cars, whole experience from viewing, test driving to purchase was a smooth process. Friendly and professional staff, who I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Particular thanks to Gina who looked after us. Great to support a local family company too.

Avoid Sandles Car Supermarket – Terrible Aftercare!

I bought a Mercedes C200 from Sandles Car Supermarket, paid £20,000 cash, expecting a reliable vehicle and decent service. Just one week after owning the car, it started making a strange noise. I contacted them straight away and was told to bring it back under warranty.

I drove 250 miles round trip only to be told, rather dismissively, that “all Mercedes have noisy injectors.” Not convinced, I had a Mercedes engineer check it out – they confirmed that something is definitely wrong with the car and it needs to be sorted.

When I contacted Sandles again, they told me that if it’s the same noise, there’s “nothing they can do.” Absolutely ridiculous. They clearly don’t want to take responsibility once the sale is made.

Wouldn’t bother buying from them again – totally useless after-sales service. If you’re thinking of spending your hard-earned money here, think twice. Once they’ve got your money, you’re on your own.

Sandles Car Supermarket were great because they have a great range of cars at various prices. They listened to my requirements, allowed a test drive. Gave me to take time to consider the purchase without being pressured. Went through the purchase procedure and optional purchases/ warranty with easy to understand explanation. They also offered a fair part exchange on my old car. All of the staff were friendly,helpful & professional.

Friendly staff and an overall positive experence. Recommended.

Car on handover was immaculate inside and out. All documentation completed and road taxed ready to go. The showroom is amazing with complementary coffee and drinks available. Nothing was rushed and test drives available on the spot, I have already recommended Sandles to my family and Freinds my daughter has also purchased car here around the same time.
