Another fantastic job by Simon. He organised everything in a timely manner and provided a thorough report.

Great communication from the very beginning. We liked how the survey was presented and bits explained in an uncomplicated manor.
Also it guided you what bits needed to be done before completion and what was expected before of exchange of contracts and what your solicitor should deal with. Very friendly, professional guy and service. We will recommend Simon and will use him in the future.

The report that we have received from Simon was very detailed, included lots of pictures and descriptions and we have now a very good understanding of the issues in the property we are planning to buy. Simon was also available for a phone call to discuss any questions with us. I would definitely recommend Searchlight Surveyors especially for first time buyers, who don't have much experience and can easily miss some important things. The report produced by Simon is very comprehensive yet easy to digest. His communication while organising the survey was quick with all my questions answered.

Having had to buy many homes to live in over the years, I needed the services of a great number of surveyors. Simon Dowse of Searchlight led them all.
I was initially impressed that Simon first asked me if I had specific queries I had about the property and he noted them carefully before commencing the survey. It was clear from his later report, that these queries were given total scrutiny.
The final survey report itself was a model of how professional reports SHOULD be written. It was a comprehensive working document backed with quality photographs and helpful advice on how to move forward with my purchase.
