We had our wills renewed through Seatons and the whole process was quick and efficient.

Mandy did say she likes a challenge when she accepted the complicated IHT and Probate requirements. However all went smoothly and surprisingly fairly quickly, considering the amount of red tape and paperwork involved. The professionalism of Seatons, especially Mandy Naylor, took all the stress and worry out of the situation, making our journey more comfortable. We are now continuing with conveyancing via Seatons. Seatons are obviously trying to stop me from putting this review on Trustpilot.
They obviously don't want people to know how they treat some of their clients.
My advice would be DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE for any criminal work because they simply can't deal with it. I made the mistake of using these people for a driving offence that wasn't my fault and Seatons turned it into a complete disaster. These people are a joke, l could have made a better job defending myself, they made no effort or attempt to defend me, l felt like l had been dropped into a meat grinder.Seatons attitude was, tough live with it. Disgusting behaviour.

Over the years we have used Seatons many times for all of our legal requirements, most recently using Adrian & Amanda to redo our wills and Gemma and the team for our house purchase.

I used Seatons for my divorce and they were terrible. They do not have basic knowledge around pensions which can often be the largest asset, as in my case. Having to explain the difference between DB & DC schemes and how CETVs are calculated to the people who are charging you circa £275 an hour is ridiculous. It felt more like my now ex wife had two solicitors in her corner as seatons really didn’t argue my case re saving their client money in equalising assets. They did refund me some charges and not charge for certain tasks so I guess they agreed with my view of their incompetence. Months were wasted and much money on the very simple fact my pension was held in two pots ( with the same company) due to LTA ( life time allowance issue) , again something that is not unusual or complicated. I saved myself circa £35k by putting information forward re the pension share, something my solicitors really should have done.
Far too many people dealing with my case so I believe inconsistency was again negatively affecting a fair outcome for me, their client.
The only good thing about Seatons is the receptionist, who was always polite and professional.

I recently used Seaton for writing my Will and also for Power of Attorney. James was very helpful and explained all the legal jargon.
A few minor changes had to be done as a result of me changing my mine on certain aspects. They were carried out without any issues. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. All in all I would definitely recommend them.

I have used Seatons for a number of services and they are without a doubt the best for any conveyancing work you might need. Claire and Siobhan have been my go to people and albeit once I was “unfaithful” and tried another company, I quickly ran back with my tail between my legs as they are the best! Competitive rates with a no nonsense approach and two really lovely people that we have come to rely on.

Siobhan consistently went above and beyond to deliver outstanding service during my first home purchase and is a true credit to Seatons. Without her, I don’t think this process would have been anywhere near as quick or smooth sailing (under 2 months from offer to completion!), so thank you very much!!
