So far, we placed two orders with SelectBlinds. The first order, almost two years ago, was for 6 blinds. Five were perfect. One didn’t close properly. SelectBlinds replaced it quickly and without hassle. The second order, placed a couple weeks ago, was for 3 blinds and they are perfect. The ordering process is fairly simple, the blinds are packaged well and labeled clearly per the descriptions we gave. The quality is good for the price. We will definitely order from SelectBlinds again.

Levolor Top Down Bottom Up Issues
I ordered a fairly large blind for my front window and purchased a top down, bottom up (Levolor light filtering cellular shades). The functionality of the blinds does not work very well. Maybe due to the large size. The fully raised blinds can be moved down, but they are having trouble when I try to lift the blinds. It creates slack in the lines and the retraction of the lines is problematic. For the cost of this single blind, this was disappointing.

Alexa not working with motorized blinds…
I was promised that my motorized blinds could be controlled by my Alexa app. So far, no go. Was told by customer service rep (very bad communication experience) that perhaps the app would be updated to allow that functionality.

Of course I measured my windows wrong the first time. I reordered the same blinds, with the correct measurements for a nominal fee. And they fit and look great. Great customer service with the re-order and with general questions I had about window sill and trim clearance and what would be the best options for me.

I'm very happy with the quality and color choice. I waited to give my review after several months to see how they held up. The one item that is disappointing is the no drill feature for hanging them. 2 of the 5 blinds always slip loose and the blind drops down a couple of inches from the top when raising and lowing. Any suggestions would be helpful or do they need to replaced?

I have been a Select Blinds customer…
I have been a Select Blinds customer for about 11 years, and all the blinds in my home were purchased from them. Overall, I have always been very happy with their products. The quality is excellent and the ordering options are very good.
A couple of weeks ago, I purchased two new blinds, and they arrived exactly as expected. Installation was easy and everything worked perfectly — except for one important issue: one of the blinds is motorized.
This is where the nightmare started.
I downloaded the app and was able to connect the blind and control it from my phone. So far so good. However, I soon discovered some serious limitations:
The blind only works when my phone is connected to my home Wi-Fi network.
If I leave the house and switch to a different network, I cannot control the blind anymore.
The app also cannot be installed and used on another phone to control the blind.
In other words, the system only works from one phone on the same Wi-Fi network, which defeats much of the purpose of having a smart motorized blind.
To solve this, I purchased the Select Blinds bridge, which supposedly allows integration with Alexa, SmartThings, Google Home, and Apple Home using Matter. Unfortunately, when I attempted to set it up, the system asked for either a QR code or an 11–12 digit setup code that should be located on the bottom of the bridge or on the box. That code simply is not there.
There were two QR codes included with the blinds, but those are only for pairing the blind with the mobile app. They do not work for connecting the bridge.
I intentionally did not purchase the remote control because it costs about $50, and the whole point of smart blinds is to control them through your phone or voice assistants like Alexa. However, the reality is that without the remote — and without a functioning bridge — the system is extremely limited.
It feels like a manufacturer that makes blinds tried to enter the smart-home automation space without fully understanding what automation requires.
I called customer support this morning and unfortunately the experience did not help. The representative I spoke with did not seem to understand the issue and kept suggesting that I use the two QR codes that came with the blind — which, again, are not intended for connecting the bridge.
If the system actually requires the remote control to function properly, that should be clearly stated. Right now it is marketed as optional, but in practice it seems necessary.
After 11 years of being a satisfied customer, this has been a very disappointing experience with the motorized product and smart integration.

2nd Order - Very Happy!
This Is second time we’ve ordered and both times it was seamless - easy to order on website, great product and shipping was quick. Ordered (2) Premier Woven Wood Shades in Georgetown for a very large dining room window. They match perfectly and are beautiful. Cordless lift works very well, even on large blinds. We ordered same ones a year ago for our kitchen and they have held up very well.

These up/down black out blinds are the 2nd round we have ordered from Selctblinds. We loved the look of the faux wood blinds, but was ready for an upgrade in the house. Replacement blind
We damaged one of the blinds during installation. Totally our fault and at our cost, but Select Blinds quickly reordered a replament at the sale price and specs from the original order. The blinds fit perfectly, look great, good quality. We are completely satisfied with Select Blinds and will order again!

White roll across the top, have to manually push up
I ordered roller light filtering blinds trying to match previous order colour, thinking I was ordering same thing . Received the blinds, they were not as expected, the material has a white backing that when rolled up even a little show a white roll across the top looking ugly. Also the blind is not spring loaded, like the other ones were, you have to manually push it up every time you want it to go up. I called customer service and was told it is what it is, there is nothing they can do and was asked if i wanted to ORDER NEW blinds with 10% discount.

Nice shades great price
The price was good. Shipping fast. Exactly what I ordered. My only complaint is the name I gave the blinds didn’t completely show up on them. So two of the windows were backwards when I installed them. But not a huge problem.
