Unprofessional and shockingly rude customer service
I placed an order with Server Orbit and my credit card was charged immediately. Despite this, they cancelled the order claiming "non-payment." I reached out multiple times via email and their customer service chat, hoping to resolve the issue. Instead of helping, they told me I could re-order the part—at a higher price.
We were tool down and had no choice but to place the second order. I followed up again to explain that our card had been charged for both the original order and the higher priced 2nd order. Their response from ETHAN in the customer service chat was "who cares about your statement" (I have a screenshot of this convo)—it was outright rude. Dismissive, condescending, and unwilling to investigate or acknowledge the issue.
They’ve refused to issue a refund for the order they cancelled and have shown zero accountability. I’ve never encountered such hostile and unprofessional behavior from a company’s support team. Proceed with caution if you’re considering doing business with Server Orbit.

Ordered SSDs on a Wednesday paid extra for two day delivery as they were critically need ed for Friday...
I checked with chat support that they were using UPS/FedEx and NOT USPS. Support confirmed Friday delivery.
Confirmation email received, then nothing.
Checked with them on Friday (should have done this on Thursday!) regarding tracking number - and they had not even shipped out yet. Promised for overnight delivery on Monday but I got the distinct feeling that they were clueless and did not actually have the SSDs in stock. Cancelled the order ! Ordered from a more reliable vendor for overnight Saturday delivery at significant extra cost - but far better peace of mind....

Horrible company! Placed a sizable order from them. Barely received tracking for the items. Continued to call them daily and got the runaround each time. They kept saying things were shipping and I’d receive info by email that day. Never happened. We got part of our order and after months of asking for the rest we told them to cancel it and refund us. The refund took us threatening legal action in order to actually get our money back. Stay far away! Sounds like the company is run out of someone’s basement honestly. They would tell me the warehouse manager was out to lunch at least twice a week and then never call me back.

Reviews are becoming quite the hard thing to trust anymore I normally don't write them. I just read them before I make a purchase. I'm making a big purchase now so I decided to do some research and I'm researching server orbit because I need some stuff from there so I read the reviews and I start coming upon different ones and I noticed one had several names in it specific names so I I called server orbit just to check and I first I checked on the availability and the guy who answered the phone he already had a weird kind. I don't know just weird vibe so I talk to him and he tells me he's got them but the way he said he has them was kind of off, it seemed like he went online looked up with the price was they had and then read it back to me, but moving on at the end of the conversation, I ask him if there is a person that works there by the name I read I'm one of the reviews and he goes. Oh yeah yeah he works here. Then I go on to ask him why I spoke to him last week and I have something to ask him about a follow up question for our conversation and his reply was well. How did you speak to him online or on the phone huge red flag? What does that have to do with me asking if he's there so now I know that it was a bot. The guy knows he has bots and he was trying to fill me out then I tell him I spoke to him on the phone and I can tell the guy was confused when I said that which is another huge flag and confirms put the guy was thinking to himself like no you didn't because he's not real at that point I politely said I think I'm gonna pass on the $3000 I was going to spend with you. I hate throwing money out the window and getting myself in a position where I spent an allocated amount and now I gotta wait on that place because I don't have what I need in a reserve to move forward with whatever I'm doing specially if it's something that's necessary well, I didn't actually purchase anything from them. I'm really good at reading people and I will not be following up. I'll spend the extra couple dollars at the more expensive place that I know will give me what I need and do what they say. I would suggest you do the same.

Horrible. Ordered an access point and was going to use their discount for paying ACH or Paypal. Order goes in and sits as open ticket. Called them and they said they would email me a link to pay for order in an hour. Two days go by and two messages sent telling them no link, no response through their message system and today the order is cancelled. This place horrible service. Scam company – avoid at all costs
I purchased an LTO-8 Ultrium 30750 Tape Drive on 05/22/2025 and was told my order would be processed shortly. It’s now been almost a month, and I haven’t even received a tracking number. Their customer service is terrible – slow responses and no real help at all.
I should have checked the other reviews before buying. They don’t deliver. Do not buy from these people. Completely unprofessional.

Bate and switch sale
I ordered 2 hard drives and 3 days later I received an email saying my order was cancelled. I wrote back asking why it was cancelled. Peter Wilson replied "Hi,

I made a research before purchasing from server orbit. There were several online stores where my required product was available but none of these stores were offering such a cheaper price! Also I got 7% discount! Product was delivered on time in a working condition. I am really happy. Highly recommended.
A complete waste of time
Contacted them before I ordered and they confirmed they had the drive in stock (new in factory box). When I attemped to expedite 4 business days later I was not able to get a solid response. Finally they confirmed it had not shipped and they did not have stock. So I asked to cancel. A waste of time.

Lying Websites - No valid stock?
I ordered 32GB DDR5 RDIMM from this website. The site claims the product is in stock, the site also claims that shipments happen within a day. It has been over a week and this site/store still has not shipped the product. I contacted Customer Support and they implied that another vender of that RAM spec was available and could be shipped. I said OK! It has been a calendar week now since the interaction with the customer service representative and still no action on this product. The website is blatantly lying and the customer service representative doesn't seem to be much better. The item isn't in stock (still as I'm writing this review the site says they have the product that they're not shipping to me) and they sure are not meeting any timeline of "most items ship in a day" it has been well over a week now. I have canceled the order to go to another vendor, because I actually want the hardware to show up at my door, go figure. The only good thing is that the site didn't charge my card/account so I don't have extra hoops in canceling the order that I wanted with regards to the funding.
I told this company to cancel my order yesterday, so they turned around and processed it two hours after I told them to cancel, they then notified me 5 hours after that, that it was "sent." I don't trust that they sent it, I don't have a tracking number. This is a SHADY business with terrible service and doesn't listen to the customers when telling them to cancel orders that haven't been processed in over a week.
I am beyond angry with these people at this stage.

After reading these reviews, I confronted ServerOrbit a few days after a purchase - note that this was pre-arrival. I also noticed on another site all 5-star reviews for several thousand entries - suspicious, right? I mentioned Better Business Bureau, Attorney General, etc. They noted it had already shipped. In 25 years of online purchases, I've never had a better condition used product, nor have I had it shipped this professionally. Greatest of kudos to ServerOrbit. To those here, shame on you with bad reviews.
