I sometimes wonder why people take time to write a positive review, we always write when we want to express our anger about some stupid company.. But their support is so outstanding, its only justice to express it publicly.

The program itself is pretty cool, I know nothing about programming but I was looking for travel agency software and each time I hit a wall due to either price or huge limitations on cheaper models. Sharetribe and other marketplace programs turned out to be the answer and I find Shrateribe the most interesting because even on their most basic hosted plans they allow for enough customization.

But what is really exceptional is their support.. truly catches your attention.. I always get to communicate with Vesa.. and it's unbelievable how he explains everything in detail and provides links to other products to make my idea feasible or better and in a language that I can understand right away. I spent like 6 months contacting other companies before and could never really understand.. I may sound a bit stupid but he is truly on another level.., thanks sincerely again Vesa... I hope the support team earns top-level salaries and given their exceptionality there should be a tipping option for users to reflect our recognition.

I am delighted with the experience I had with Sharetribe's assistance. The entire Sharetribe support team was exceptional. I asked them dozens of questions every day during the three weeks it took to build my marketplace, and they always responded efficiently and quickly. They guided me step by step and gave me plenty of advice to improve my platform. It's really refreshing to see a company like Sharetribe truly care about the success of its customers. After months of searching and trying out all the marketplace platforms available on the internet, I'm so happy to have finally found a serious one that's available for its customers and focused on building a trustworthy relationship with them. I want to give a special thanks to Oana and Adeyemi from Sharetribe support for their support and efficiency, but I also don't forget Thomas, Vesan, and Vesa. Thank you all and thank you Sharetribe.

So far so good. The concept is amazing and it was something I was trying to build myself. I clearly wasn't doing the right sort of google search, as I was looking at wordpress plug ins, custom builds and shopify. Sharetribe seems to be able to do exactly what I want, but will find out more when I launch properly.

The example sites that are live are really incredible and the bonus of a directory of key developers is going to make this a really great platform.

I’m a seasoned software developer but I have very little experience with Web development. As I worked with the sample marketplace template to customize it for my marketplace, I began to admire Sharetribe’s excellent design. The division of labor between front-end server and Sharetribe’s APIs for handling the backend strikes just the right balance for rapid, easy customization combined with long-term flexibility for advanced needs. I put only about 40 hours into getting a prototype up that could serve as my minimum viable product, something that I thought would take over a year. I still have to deploy my site, and I haven’t worked with the integration APIs yet for more customization, so it’s possible I will develop some hiccups, but my experience so far leaves me very optimistic.

Since my first engagement with the Sharetribe team in Helsinki I have not wanted to deal with any other company and I have recommended them many times over.

Their product is easy to use, beautiful to piggyback on and it enables us to do deals at a level that would be way beyond our capabilities without their platform.

Fell for the marketing of this service. Once starting to pour some hours into it you quickly realize the vast amount of limitations, hefty fees, and challenges in terms of scalability.

Personally, I recommend looking into a no-code platform (such as bubble.io or any other database creator). I quickly found a working path once I admitted defeat after having fallen for Sharetribes marketing and promises, wasting weeks of valuable time.

Hi: This review I would say is more like motivation for this website to create very important thing that is missing in their system: I was about to purchase subsciption: Then I went through website again checking how things work: Suddenly I noticed that while listing an item it does not have ITEM QUANTITY, I mean INVENTORY CONTROL: I thought I am missing something maybe: Then I contacted support: They say they really don't have it: Oh: What ??? While listing an item user does not have option to specify quantity ? Really ?
Oh, Man: You need to add this feature: It looks so incomplete without that: I don't know if you are lazy or luck of knowledge, either ways you are missing very important part of marketplace website: "Inventory Tracking": You shoud add it as soon as possible: 🙄🙄

Love Sharetribe, Been using them for years to launch marketplaces, super platform so easy to use but more than anything else its their customer service and the way they help with big and small questions. Great for advice and a big shoutout to Oana who has always come up with great suggestions on how to improve my platforms.

Awful company.
I paid for 6months subscription that I wasn't able to use and they refuse to give my money back. I used 20 days of this service and they are keeping £573 pounds subscription that I won't use.

They hide behind a legal wall - their terms are advertised as 30days free, then it becomes 10 days when you pay more and without your knowledge you're in a binding agreement they don't make clear about.
Rip-off and awful all in one.

Screw them :(
