Parcel Left in Safe Place But Never Informed

I had ordered directly from Julian Charles, when it was dispatched I received an Amazon Shipping email informing me that they were delivering this. Was due to be delivered Friday 15th November, I discovered they had delivered the day before (I was at work all day, was 2 hours after I got home that I realised they had delivered on 14th November). No calling card was placed through my letterbox, received no email confirming delivery was due today either. Could have been left outside all night and stolen had I not realised. Disgusts me.

No customer service.

My order was damaged on delivery and the courier returned them. I was told I would be refunded. I don't want a refund, I want the items delivered in one piece. Because it was a part order I got free delivery, if I re-order it I don't. Amazon is not contactable from the website. No phone number, no email address and not even a bot. How can you claim to help when you hide behind the firewall?

I ordered two items one of which is a Samsung tablet and was given a delivery date of Sunday 13th between 5.15 and 8.15pm, at 8.10 the time changed to 9.15pm so when 10.10pm came i contacted the company and was not a happy person.
The way you have to deal with any problem with this company is by texting so explained what was wrong and said that I wanted it delivered by 11am Monday 14th needless to say this did not happen, so I was able to find a contact number and actually spoke to someone and now being delivered on Wednesday so it's a waiting game.
Amazon has really gone down hill now, the delivery drivers leave a lot to be desired and leave the packages any where they feel like and don't even knock on the door.

awful deliveries

Constantly marking my deliveries as “tried to deliver but couldn’t” when no actual delivery attempt was made. Customer services were terrible in providing any form of solution and given this has happened 5 times now and the feedback they give to their depots are clearly not being received or anything done about it. Sick of it, especially given you pay for next day delivery and still 36 hours later you’re without your package!!! Disgraceful and completely unwilling to care given how many other customers they have.

No thought for packaging!
I can’t believe that TWICE they sent me a high end iPad in a stupid cardboard envelope and not a proper sturdy box.
Twice I’ve had to return due to the iPad box being damaged.
Unbelievably stupid!!!

Amazon has tried to sign me up for a…

Amazon has tried to sign me up for a Music subscription today without my permission. I was signing back in after a Chrome update. Without me touching the keyboard Amazon tried to sign me up, all that prevented it was the lack of a payment method.

After the last time this happened I removed my cards from the wallet on Amazon.

With the increasingly awful adverts on Prime Video, this again and parcels left on the doorstep [unknown to me while I am at home] in full view of the street - I will not be renewing Amazon Prime when that subscription ends. In the meantime I will try everywhere else before ordering anything from Amazon having been a customer since 2002 - loyalty unrewarded.

I have paid in the past for the unwanted Music Subscription assuming I had made a mistake - I feel cheated by Amazon.

No point to spend for prime membership

Wasting over £100 a year for prime membership to get more better service but unfortunately every single time their drivers leaves parcels outside of property or in bins and never knocks on door.
Their delivery time slots gets changed 3-4 times which starts in morning and finally ended up for 10pm. (That means they wants customers to wait all day for parcels)
Also they don’t have any specific delivery time sometimes they pop in early in the morning and sometimes late night. So no idea what time we have to wait at home for our deliveries.
It was use to be a good service but no longer it should be prime 💩💩💩👎👎👎

Unfit for purpose

Unfit for purpose - they throw the package on your doorstep and clear off. No knocking the door, no reading instructions on door and no concerrn for the customer whose package is left on the street ready for someone to steal. It's apity there is no option to leave no stars, or I would have done.

Amazon Prime? Beware of Delivery Promises

Bought 2 items on 24.6.2024. Both specified as next day delivery. This was a major factor in choosing Amazon for the purchases despite the fact that I could have bought them elsewhere at a reduced price. I need the items for a filming project this weekend.
Received notification that the delivery wouldn't be next day but 48 hours. Not a problem. But today (26.6.2024) told they were to be delayed by at least another 48 hours due to having no stock. Weekend project not going to happen!
I pay for Prime membership in the most part because of the delivery promises made by Amazon. Recently this assurance is becoming less and less reliable and that's a shame.

This company is fine unless you have a problem and then they dont want to know I have made numerous phone calls to them and mostly the people I spoke to couldnt understand basic english over the years I have spent thousands with them but no more

Trying to complain about a delivery is impossible on Amazon. I ordered some small bathroom shelves, got an alert saying they have been handed to resident but nothing had arrived. I went down the drive to see if they had put a delivery attempt notice in the post box. I found the parcel, abandoned on the street outside the gate, luckily I walked down as it could easily have been taken. The delivery person blatantly lied In saying it had been delivered to the resident.

AMAZON DOES NOT WANT YOU TO SPEAK TO A HUMAN BEING

Recently I ordered two large boxes of Ferrero Rocher chocolates. As I am disabled my neighbour receives my packages. Encountering a problem is rare but these chocolates were recorded as delivered but to whom I do not know and I want to find out where or who the package was delivered to. My reason for this is that my neighbours while providing some help to me are taking advantage of me and these chocolates arrived at a time when very useful to them as a birthday gift for an elderly mother. I received a prompt refund from Amazon and it's not the £47.98 or a massive deal about the chocolates but a more complicated underlying situation about trusting my neighbours. In trying to get in touch with Amazon this morning I was asked to give my number for a call back. My phone rang almost immediately but it was a USELESS CHAT BOT who when asked if I could speak to an advisor replied "Sorry I didn't get that". When I finally thought I had succeeded in being connected to A HUMAN another recording advises "Sorry we are having technical issues, please email us via our website". This is so typical of living in a broken UK. Endless rounds of frustration and anxiety. Geoff Bezos is currently the richest man in the world but too tight to employ a decent UK based call centre staff. I hope his yacht and support vessel hit a huge storm.

Amazon UK is all red tape and no service

I live in Israel and have been a loyal Amazon UK customer for many years. I recently bought a Breville UK personal blender from Amazon UK. The blender comes with two personal bottles, each of which has a lid with a cover. Due to faulty design, the latch of the cover of the lid of one of the bottles broke when I tried to open it. I asked Breville UK to replace the lid but they refused. I asked Amazon UK to replace the lid but they were only prepared to replace the entire blender if I shipped it to them at my cost. I e-mailed the Managing Director of Amazon UK, John Boumphrey, several times, but he has an automatic reply that says, “Thank you for contacting the office of the Amazon UK Managing Director, John Boumphrey. Your information has been passed to the relevant department for investigation and they will respond to you as soon as they have an update. If you have not received a reply within 2 business days then please reply to this e-mail.” If you reply to this automatic message after two business days, you get the same automatic reply again. There is no way to get any attention from the Managing Director of Amazon UK. In the end I am left with a broken lid. This is very poor service by Amazon UK.

Amazon used to be a trusted online…

Amazon used to be a trusted online shopping mall but that is no longer the case. Customer service agents do not have a clue and will tell you anything just to make you leave a favourable feedback for them. Their AtoZ guarantee is a lie. The rejected sellers from eBay have all migrated to Amazon knowing that it is a safe heaven for them to continue their scams in a place that will do nothing to deter them. After over 10 years of being a Prime member, I am going to cancel my membership and go back to eBay.

Threat of being banned for using the word WOKE

I wrote a review of the book. The only word/opinion within the review that Amazon could have taken exception to was woke. They banned my review and has since said that if I do this again I will be banned from writing reviews. Since when is woke such a dirty word? I didn't use it in an abusive way. I simply said that the book was very woke. Of course there's no one that we can speak to to discuss this issue.

So much for free speech. Shame on you Amazon.
