This service was SO COOL

This service was SO COOL! I Highly recommend doing this for a much more relaxing travel experience. I actually used this service as a way to receive a second suitcase halfway through an extended vacation. It was so nice to have more clean outfits and have them waiting in my room when I arrived to Rome! Will absolutely be using again.

Pick up and Delivery Problems & Frustrations

Ship & Play had told us that a person would be at Port Everglades as we disembarked from our cruise ship to receive our golf clubs. That someone would be holding a sign with our name. We were told the sign would say Ship and Play and have our name on it. This did not happen. We spent 30 minutes trying to find the person. The company that Ship & Play outsourced our pick up to, was called IBC Messenger. The person that was there to get our clubs was a holding a sign that said "Free Luggage" - not our name and no mention of Ship & Play. We walked past this person many times. Thank goodness Ship & Play provided us a phone number for IBC Messenger because we never would have eventually found the person. It was quite frustrating. Also our clubs were to be shipped via Fed Ex. Never once did Fed Ex let us know when our clubs were delivered to our home. We were still out of state and not at our home, counting on Fed Ex (or Ship & Play) to communicate with us via email or text when our clubs were delivered. This never happened. Thank goodness we had Apply Bag tags in our golf bags so that we could track them. And nice neighbors who let us know that our golf clubs were sitting on our front porch. We would have had no idea that our clubs were delivered and they could have been stolen off our porch. Again, quite frustrating.

Good morning. Thank you for taking the time to review your recent Ship&Play Cruise debark experience from Port Everglades. We’re pleased to see that once our courier took possession of your bags, both shipments were delivered ahead of schedule to your destination.

That said, we sincerely apologize for the difficulty you experienced locating our courier upon disembarkation, as well as the lack of tracking updates while your shipment was in transit. We understand how concerning and inconvenient both of these issues can be. Tracking updates are typically sent via email and text (optional) at key tracking milestones (pickup, out for delivery, and final delivery). We are actively investigating why this did not occur in your case. Additionally, our local courier is expected to use proper signage when meeting guests at the port, and we apologize that this standard was not met.

Your feedback is extremely valuable and not reflective of the experience we strive to provide. A member of our Supervisor Team will be reaching out via email later today to coordinate a time to discuss your experience in more detail. We would greatly appreciate the opportunity to better understand what occurred and identify how we can improve this process moving forward. We would also like to explore how we can make this right for you.

I’ve done business with other luggage…

I’ve done business with other luggage shipping companies and have been serially disappointed. Ship & Play delivered as expected, sooner delivery than i expected and with minimal effort on me, the customer’s part. Well done.

Awesome experience all the way around

Awesome experience all the way around. It was half the price to ship my carry-on rather than pay the crazy airline prices. Plus, I did not have to deal with carting the luggage around. I sent it a couple days ahead and it was earlier than expected. The customer service was excellent at drop off and over the phone. I will surely do this again!

Very Satisfied

I’ve used Ship&Play twice and both times I’ve been very satisfied. They do a great job, it’s simple and eaay, and your items get delivered in great care.

We had a truly fantastic experience

We had a truly fantastic experience. There was a tiny hiccup with pickup, but they fixed it right away, and our things got to our family’s house the day before we even arrived. We shipped our stuff off before we left vacation to go home, and it showed up a couple of days later. This service was such a relief when traveling with kids—especially sensitive ones
